The Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe has opened up about having body dysmorphia ahead of a swimsuit photo shoot.

The Season 11 The Bachelorette star wrote, "I have a bathing suit shoot tomorrow that I'm nervous about because we are not editing any of the photos. But I need to celebrate the small wins."
Kaitlyn uploaded this message over a photo of junk food and continued, "[Five] years ago, I would have thought I [needed] to eat air and grilled chicken to prep. Right now in this moment, I'm [thinking], 'Ugh I love snacks. Eating these snacks aren't going to change my body overnight AND... working out and not feeding my body will only make me miserable.'"
Kaitlyn said she's going to be "hard" on herself "no matter what," but she wants to "lean into alllll the feelings" and try to love on her body that she keeps "strong and healthy."
The Bachelor alum concluded, "I still struggle but recognizing growth is a WIN. Body dysmorphia is real."
Another issue Kaitlyn struggled with recently was the loss of her sex drive.
Kaitlyn discussed how she typically loses her sex drive a year-and-a-half into her relationships during an early February episode of her "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.
"I'm like, 'Once every two weeks is fine.' I don't need it... But lately, I've been like, 'I think I've got it back!' I, like, want it," Kaitlyn shared, seemingly referring to her rumored romance with The Bachelorette alum and Tayshia Adams' ex-fiance Zac Clark.
Kaitlyn's podcast guest, Stassi Schroeder, asked whether The Bachelor alum has ever lost her sex drive completely.
"Yeah, oh, yeah, it was gone," Kaitlyn replied. "I thought I was asexual. I literally thought I was asexual."

RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELORETTE' COUPLES NOWKaitlyn said she felt that way "at the end of a relationship," but she didn't reveal if it was with her first fiance Shawn Booth, from whom she split in November 2018; her second fiance Jason Tartick, from whom she split in August 2023; or an ex-boyfriend who preceded her The Bachelor days.
"I was like, 'I think at this point, I could see myself more with a woman.' I actually thought that -- than a man," Kaitlyn shared. "Because I was like, 'I get it. I think women are hot, and I could do that.'"
Kaitlyn recalled, "I was just like, 'I guess this is it, [I'm no longer into men],' and I was fine with it. But then once I started going on a couple dates, I was like, 'Oh, [maybe not].'"
Kaitlyn has apparently been dating Zac since late 2023. They were first photographed together at Kaitlyn's New Year's Eve party in her Nashville home.
"I didn't really jump into dating a bunch. I was more flirting at first. But I had that urge. I was kind of like, 'Ooh, I kind of would like to hook up,'" Kaitlyn revealed.
"[I thought], 'I would like his P in my V. Yeah. And I was really proud of myself for that because I was like, 'Okay, I'm not the desert down there.'"
When Stassi noted how Kaitlyn "got her groove back," the Season 11 The Bachelorette star quipped, "She did. She did, ladies and gentlemen. This is why I can't write a book."
Bachelor Nation has been watching Kaitlyn closely ever since she sparked a romance with Zac.

Kaitlyn, for instance, was accused of breaking "girl code" with Tayshia since the women are friends and had co-hosted back-to-back seasons of The Bachelorette in 2021.
Kaitlyn was also bashed for allegedly trying to get on-camera as much as she could -- with some fans claiming she's desperate for attention -- during The Golden Bachelor couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist's The Golden Wedding special that aired live in early January on ABC.

Kaitlyn also confessed earlier this year that Jason "disappointed" her in the way that he had handled gossip about her new relationship with Zac.
"I'm a little bit disappointed. I'm going to try to not get emotional -- because I cried all day yesterday -- but it's really disappointing to me, the way that Jason's kind of leaning into the victim mentality," Kaitlyn shared on the January 4 episode of her "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.
"I don't want to dismiss that he's hurting. I don't want to dismiss that his feelings are valid and his feelings are hurting. But I have talked to him so openly and honestly. And I am [hurting too]. We have been so transparent with each other to have respect for one another."
In addition, Kaitlyn felt the need to shut down rumors that she had cheated on Jason with Zac, and her Instagram is often flooded with comments about how she looks "so different" from when she first found fame on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor.
