Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter have celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary, nearly two decades after they fell in love on The Bachelorette's first season.

"19 years of marriage (today!!!) and it doesn't matter if we're at home in the mountains or taking in the Caribbean sunshine @sandalsroyalcuracao... he still makes me happy (I mean...hello hot hubby!" Trista captioned her video, along with a fire emoji.
"I'm a lucky girl, but not just because he is a real life Clark Kent. He's genuine, thoughtful, brave, caring, adventurous, hysterical, kind hearted, clever, and does so much for our family!)."

Ryan also uploaded a heartfelt post of his own.
"I suppose if there was ever a reason to create a post, it would be to tell the world how much I love this woman... I love her a lot," Ryan wrote.
"For 19 years I've loved her more than I ever thought it possible to love someone and I've done so because she showed me how. I hope she knows... Happy Anniversary Trista."
Trista and Ryan have two children together: Max, 14, and Blakesley, 12.
The couple has overcome a lot together, including Ryan's recent health crisis and major surgeries.
Prior to starring as the Bachelorette, Trista found fame when she competed on Alex Michel's season of The Bachelor in 2002.

Ryan proposed marriage to Trista on The Bachelorette's first-season finale, which aired in February 2003 and drew over 30 million viewers on ABC.
Trista, a former Dancing with the Stars and Fear Factor contestant, changed her last name from Rehn to Sutter when she married Ryan in December 2003 in a televised special.
Trista & Ryan's Wedding's two-hour finale -- which featured the couple's wedding ceremony and reception at the Lodge in Rancho Mirage resort in Palm Springs, CA -- drew over 17 million viewers when it aired on ABC on December 10, 2003.
Trista and Ryan welcomed Maxwell in July 2007 followed by Blakesley in April 2009.
