Fellow The Glass House contestant Kevin later joined Ashley in limbo after the majority of the rest of the season's contestants nominated him for elimination. Viewers were then required to vote for whether Ashley or Kevin would return to the house this week and resume competing, and they ultimately opted to save Kevin and eliminate Ashley.
During Monday night's broadcast, the house's big screen revealed which two players had received the least number of home viewer votes since the previous episode, ultimately replacing the former positions of Ashley and her opposing team captain Holly. Mike and Holly -- for the second time in a row -- were announced as the least favorite players, and as a result, they were forced to be team captains for the week's challenge and would be sent to "limbo" if their team lost.
The season's fifth challenge required each team to break each other's glass windmill panes using launchers. After two minutes elapsed, one player on each side could use a slingshot to try to break a pane. In addition, one person on each team was instructed to "provide ammunition to designated shooters," while another player had to attempt to protect his or her team's windmill with a 10-foot pole. The first team to break all of a windmill's glass panes would win the challenge and be safe from "limbo" nominations.
Mike's team ended up winning the challenge 8-5. Holly was therefore automatically placed in "limbo" and put up for elimination once her team was defeated.
The season's contestants proceeded to nominate Andrea to join her following a vote in which she received four, Stephanie earned three and Kevin got one. Viewers will now get to determine whether they'd like to see Andrea or Holly return to the game.
