The Golden Bachelor star Gerry Turner has no desire to slow down after appearing on reality TV, and now he's apparently interested in trading in red roses for dancing shoes.

Given Gerry has captured viewers' hearts all over the world with his sweet personality and charming nature on The Golden Bachelor, he's probably well aware that he'd receive a lot of votes on Dancing with the Stars next year.

"I would be open to any and all opportunities," Gerry told The New York Post of possibly competing on a future season of Dancing with the Stars.

"Because as much fun as I've had up to this point, and as much fun as my family has had coming along with me on this journey, I wouldn't say no to anything."

Gerry, however, pointed out how he wouldn't rush into another commitment without weighing the pros and cons. After all, he may have a girlfriend or fiancee now!

"I would have to kind of get more information before I committed to something," the 72-year-old retired restaurateur explained. "But gosh, I mean, how much fun could that be?"

Gerry also isn't exactly confident in his moves, apparently.

"I'm probably just an average guy," Gerry said. "So on a scale of 1 to 10, maybe a five [as a dancer]."

Gerry's enthusiasm and apparent willingness to sign up for Dancing with the Stars likely stems from the fact his experience with fame from starring on The Golden Bachelor was an overwhelmingly positive one.

Gerry told his local Indianapolis Star newspaper earlier this month that he's "happier today" than he was prior to filming The Golden Bachelor.

"There's so much more opportunity and I've gotten to know so many great people," Gerry gushed.

"I've had great experiences; and my family has had great experiences along with me that they would have never been afforded. So there's so many positive things. I was able to be a presenter at the CMA Awards. My daughter got to go with me."

Gerry was also excited to be able to travel to Costa Rica for his The Golden Bachelor finale, especially since his daughters and granddaughters were able to accompany him on that trip.

And Gerry shared how it's felt great to have fans and people around the world rooting for him and supporting him on his quest to find love for the second time in his life.

"It's just really fun because everybody's joining in the joy of it," Gerry said.

"And I wouldn't give that up to the world. It's not just for me, it's for everybody, finding their own piece of happiness with it."

Gerry would be following in the footsteps of many The Bachelor and The Bachelorette alums before him who have competed on Dancing with the Stars -- including The Bachelorette's Season 20 star Charity Lawson, who is currently in the running for The Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy on Season 32.

The Bachelorette's Season 19 star Gabby Windey placed second on Dancing with the Stars' 31st season last year.

Kaitlyn Bristowe also memorably won Dancing with the Stars' 29th season, right after Hannah Brown was crowned champion of the reality dancing competition's 28th season.

Gerry's journey on The Golden Bachelor is winding down. He only has two senior ladies left in the competition -- Leslie Fhima and Theresa Nist -- and he's said that he's in love with both of them.

Theresa and Leslie are also head over heels for Gerry, and so the Final Rose Ceremony is expected to be very emotional.

Gerry is going to choose his winner and reveal if he's engaged during the upcoming season finale of The Golden Bachelor, airing Thursday, November 30 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

Dancing with the Stars, meanwhile, will air its finale on Tuesday, December 5 on ABC.
