The race was tight, but based on the audience's response as well as reactions from The Voice coaches Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, the winner will probably be Lauren or Chris.
For Lauren's original song, she penned a heartfelt tune called "Deja Vu" about how a person is often reminded of an ex in everyday life once a romantic relationship ends.
Lauren's coach, Blake, congratulated the artist on writing her "first No. 1 hit song." Blake said of all the incredible moments on The Voice's 12 seasons, an original song so "beautiful and perfect" has never been performed.
Chris performed an uptempo, dance anthem called "Money On You" for his original song.
Chris' coach, Alicia, could only muster a "wow" after the performance, as she appeared completely wrapped up in the energy in the room. She told Chris that he's like electricity and everyone feels him when he sings. She said Chris is "1,000 percent ready" to begin his journey in the music industry.
For Team Adam, Jesse's original single was called "Woman" in honor of the love of his life, his wife.
The song was co-written by one of his inspirations, Chris Stapleton. Adam said that Jesse has that "intangible quality" that embodies what The Voice winner should be. Adam insisted Jesse needs to win the competition because he's so unique and gifted.
Aliyah sang an original tune called "Never Be Lonely" on behalf of Blake's team about having a crush on someone who only wants to be friends.
At only 15-years-old, Aliyah had everyone dancing. Blake insisted Aliyah is "radio ready" and the song suited her perfectly. Blake also pointed out Aliyah's great improvement over time on The Voice and how she's also an "awesome" person.
As for the cover songs, Lauren sang "The Dance" by Garth Brooks, Chris performed "Rhythm Nation" by Janet Jackson, Jesse took the stage with "Takin' It To the Streets" by The Doobie Brothers, and Aliyah sang "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" by Stevie Wonder.
Blake took the stage twice in the finals to sing with his team members. Blake and Lauren sang "There's a Tear in My Beer" by Hank Williams Jr., while the coach and Aliyah belted out "Dancing In the Street" by Martha and the Vandellas.
