Total Divas star Nikki Bella accepted a marriage proposal from her longtime boyfriend John Cena after a wrestling match, and she couldn't be happier.

John proposed to Nikki at WrestleMania 33 after the pair defeated The Miz and his wife Maryse during a tag team match on Sunday, April 2, in front of about 70,000 people in the crowd, Us Weekly reported.

"I have been waiting so long to ask you this," John, 39, said. "Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?"

Nikki, 33, immediately said yes and then the couple kissed in the ring.

"My Prince Charming made me his Queen in a place we call home. Last night was truly unforgettable. A dream come true!" Nikki tweeted Monday.

"I want to thank my always expressive 'family' the @WWEUniverse for allowing me to have a #WrestleMania moment that I will NEVER forget!" John also wrote on Twitter.

John and Nikki have dated for about five years. The couple's romance has been documented on the E! reality series Total Divas as well as Total Bellas, which will both return with new seasons this year.

During an April 2016 episode of Total Divas, Nikki reportedly expressed how she'd love for John to pop the question and put a ring on it.

"You guys, John finally told me on our three-year anniversary that marriage doesn't bother him anymore, he wants to marry me, he wants to be married to me," Nikki gushed to her friends.

"I want him next to me my whole life," she sweetly added. "I can't live without him."

John was previously married to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009 to 2012.

Total Divas will premiere its seventh season on Wednesday, April 5 at 9PM ET/PT. Last season, Nikki was shown rehabilitating a serious injury in attempt to make a major comeback in the ring.

Total Bellas, which also stars Brie Bella, is set to return with Season 2 later this year on E!.
