VH1 Thursday announced a second season of "Flavor of Love," its hit reality show that has rapper Flavor Flav looking for an ideal mate.

Although he chose Michigan's "Hoopz" at the end of the first season, the couple revealed during the reunion show that their relationship was a bust.

Now, the rapper is ready to try again to not only find true love but also surpass the viewership record set for any VH1 show during "Flavor of Love's" first season, VH1 announced in a news release.

Overall, "Flavor of Love" was the highest rated series in VH1 history and its 90-minute finale was the cable network's top-rated show.

Filming of the 10-episode second season gets under way next month in Los Angeles.
