Vinny Ventiera is standing his ground post-split from Izzy Goodkind, but she's regretful of how it went down on Bachelor in Paradise and all but confirmed she'd be open to dating him again.

"Watching that back put a knot in my stomach... I'm still upset. I'm still heartbroken," Ventiera admitted before Goodkind was welcomed onstage. "I was blindsided and I wasn't expected it. I didn't even think it was real, to be honest with you."
Ventiera broke up with Goodkind in last night's Bachelor in Paradise episode after she confessed being extremely physically attracted to newcomer Brett Melnick. Instead of sticking around and dating other women, Ventiera left Paradise crushed.
Ventiera told Collins and Lowe that he didn't want to watch Goodkind's relationship with another man progress. He also didn't want Goodkind to watch the same thing, so he decided to take the high road.
Since Ventiera and Goodkind were basically attached at the hip since Day 1 of Paradise, Collins asked the Florida barber and deejay if he "felt played."
"I feel more or less that she played herself," Ventiera said of Goodkind. "I think if she had been more mature and communicated a little better, it would've been a better outcome."
Once Goodkind joined the set, she insisted her romance with Ventiera was "100% real" and genuine, however, she felt "overwhelming doubt and insecurity" in the days leading up to Melnick's arrival. Goodkind said she just wished she had expressed herself sooner.
Goodkind added that she did not lead Ventiera because she tried to be as honest with him as possible. She said, in fact, Ventiera was the one who had trouble communicating and opening up. Regardless, Goodkind wished she had handled the situation differently and apologized from the bottom of her heart.
"This has happened to me before. I run from great things and I let an amazing man go. [I regret it] 100 percent," Goodkind confessed.
After Paradise marked the first time Ventiera and Goodkind spoke since filming and they were both very emotional, so Lowe asked whether either individual would consider reconciling and dating again.
Both Ventiera and Goodkind hesitated and looked at each other, waiting for the other person to respond. Ventiera then stepped up to the plate and basically suggested getting back together isn't an option for him although he definitely forgives her.
"Izzy is a great person, we got along great. But the way that she handled that situation, you know, what's stopping her from something happening like that in the future?... I don't want someone to walk by and catch her interest, and then all of a sudden, she wants to be with him," Ventiera said.

"I'm a human and people make mistakes, and there's not much more I can say. I'm sorry," Goodkind noted.
