Variety reports that ABC has finished casting -- and shooting -- its celeb edition of "The Mole." "The Mole 3" will star celebrities Michael Boatman (Carter on Spin City), Corbin Bernsen (Arnie on LA Law), Kim Coles (from Living Single), Erik von Detten (from Dinotopia), Baldwin brother Stephen Baldwin, comedian Kathy Griffin, and supermodel Frederique. Ahmad Rashad will be the host. The show quietly wrapped production earlier this month following nearly two weeks of on-location production in Hawaii. Reuters reports that MTV has announced that the second seasion of "The Osbournes" will premiere on November 26th, kicking off a second season of MTV's highest-rated show. With the addition of Angie Martinez has the new fourth judge for "American Idol 2," the New York Post reports that the rules of the game have changed slightly. With four judges instead of three, obviously the potential for a tie 2-2 vote exists. Zap2It.com reports that ABC has ordered a new unscripted show called "The Will" from producer Mike Fleiss, the man behind the network's hit "The Bachelor." On the new show, a wealthy (still living) benefactor will offer up his or her estate to family members. But instead of tedious probate-court hearings, the potential heirs will compete for the goods and have the chance to vote others out. Family members and friends who take part in the series will also be put through a series of weekly competitions, in which the players will vie for a shot at some smaller portion of the benefactor's estate -- the BMW or the vacation house.E! Entertainment Television has announced that despite faltering ratings, it has renewed its controversial reality series featuring former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith for a second season. Variety reports that Anderson Cooper, CNN newsman-anchor and also host of both series of "The Mole", has been forced to end his ties with the reality TV series under pressure from his new bosses at CNN. According to Variety, Cooper, arguably one of the two best hosts in reality TV along with Survivor's Jeff Probst, was told that, if he chose to return to "The Mole" 3 and 4, his continuing high-profile role on CNN might be jeopardized.
