As we first speculated over a month ago, CBS announced today that its baseball themed Clubhouse drama has officially been sent down to the minor leagues to make way for the broadcast of The Amazing Race 6. The sixth edition of the two-time Emmy Award winning reality series will debut on Tuesday, November 16 at 9PM ET/PT with a special two-hour premiere and then air weekly on Tuesdays at 9PM.

ABC has announced that it will be bringing its struggling fall The Benefactor reality series to an early end, but, perhaps being mindful of the criticism that NBC took last week when it decided to pull its Last Comic Standing series off the air with only one episode remaining, the network won't suddenly yank the series off the air midway through its run -- instead the originally planned eight-episode series will be truncated to six episodes.

Fox has KO'd its own The Next Great Champ reality boxing series, announcing that despite its previous announcement, the low rated series will not be returning to the airwaves after a short two-week hiatus. Instead, the network has cancelled all future broadcasts of the series, with the remaining six episodes of the ten episode series now scheduled for broadcast on the media conglomerate's Fox Sports Net network of regional cable sports channels.
