AVERY and OMAR
It was the day of Avery and Omar's wedding, and Avery said she couldn't wait to marry Omar because he was her best friend and soul mate. She didn't care whether people thought she was crazy, including her own mother Teri.Avery was unfortunately getting married the day after she had a big fight with Teri, but Teri was just worried about her daughter's safety and happiness.
Teri's worst fear was that Omar was using Avery for a Green Card in the United States, but Avery assured her mother that Omar's intentions were pure and she was tired of defending him.

Omar then learned, however, they needed to postpone the wedding because Islamic court had to approve of their union first.
Avery was really disappointed because her mother had flown all the way to Lebanon to watch her get married and they may not be able to wed in time. Teri was leaving that night, so Avery and Omar were in a rush to get approval.
Avery, however, still had five days in Lebanon, which was plenty of time to get married. Teri wanted to see her daughter get married, but Avery still had yet to tell Teri she'd be moving to Syria after the wedding.

Teri acknowledged such news might just ruin her relationship with her mom.
To get approval from the court, a lot of paperwork needed to be filled out. The mosque, however, closed at 4PM and so the couple only had one hour to get everything done.
Avery and Omar were stressed out and rushing around, but they eventually got the paperwork approved and drove back to the mosque, trying to beat heavy traffic as well.
Avery quickly changed into her wedding dress, and Teri told her daughter that she looked "absolutely beautiful." Avery didn't care about how small her wedding was or the fact only her mother was there -- she said it was the wedding of her dreams.
Omar also said it was "a dream come true" to get married at the mosque, even though his own family couldn't be there.
Teri wanted to be a witness for her daughter's wedding but she wasn't allowed to because a witness needed to be one man or two women. Teri didn't think Avery understood what she was getting herself into.
Teri even felt like she was selling her daughter for $6,000, which was the dowry Omar had to pay to marry Avery.

Avery was not able to exchange vows with Omar due to Islamic law and Muslim culture, but she was so thrilled to marry the love of her life. Both Avery and Omar were smiling ear to ear after the ceremony, and they both gushed about the joy and happiness they felt.
That joy quickly turned into dismay for Teri, however, when Avery revealed at dinner that night she'd be moving to Syria until Omar's visa to move to the United States would be approved.
Teri was angry and terrified because Avery wouldn't speak the language, nor was Syria a safe place for her to live. Teri said Avery couldn't even go to an ATM without help and all she'd be able to do in Syria is be Omar's housewife.
"Is it better now because they're not gassing people?" Teri cried. "I don't want her to be caught up in all that!"
Avery said she'd be moving to Syria regardless, and then Teri cut the dinner short and decided to leave and head to the airport to go home. Avery asked Omar to talk to Teri, but Teri ran off.
DARCEY and TOM
Darcey was a little upset she and Stacey had an argument in front of their men. Tom described her dynamic with her twin sister as "tit for tat" because they always tried to one up each other.Tom let Darcey know that she had acted immature, but Darcey blamed her sister for doing the same thing. The dynamic between sisters was unfortunate, and Darcey felt bad Tom was not in a good headspace because of it.
Darcey then sat down with her sister over coffee that morning to discuss how they needed to improve their dynamic.

Darcey let her sister know that Tom wasn't happy, but Stacey suggested Tom might've been making excuses because he just wasn't into Darcey. Stacey questioned whether Tom was blaming her for his lack of feelings for Darcey.
Darcey told Stacey that her relationship wasn't perfect, especially considering she was still engaged after many years and not marry, but Stacey pointed out she takes things slower in a relationship as a way to not get hurt or make mistakes.
Stacey feared Darcey was going to be disappointed by Tom.

Tom thought the market was just "a flea market," and he wasn't impressed. Tom felt he needed to spend some time with Darcey alone in order to improve the romantic connection Darcey had been desiring.
Tom told Darcey that she changed when she was around her sister and the trip was supposed to be about them. Tom said the trip was not romantic and he felt like they were just two friends hanging out together.
Darcey felt guilty because she didn't think Tom was having a good time. She worried Tom would've felt differently about her had they spent time in Gran Canaria instead, and Tom pointed out his parents had gotten engaged there, which made Darcey cry.

"My head was like, 'Let's go and do this and if things are great and it's wonderful, maybe, you know, I would've asked you to marry me," Tom told Darcey. "But we're here and it isn't the way I wanted it to be."
Tom said he and Darcey would've gotten caught up in the moment in Gran Canaria because the location and setting is beautiful.
"We would've been much more romantic towards each other," Tom said in a confessional. "Having been to Albania and it not been like that, I actually saw what Darcey is all about, and now I'm not 100 percent sure where we're at in the relationship."
Tom said there was half of Darcey that he loved and wanted to spend the rest of his life with but then there was half of her that he just wanted to be friends with.
Darcey said she had missed out on what could've been the best day of her life. She resented her sister for asking her to come to Albania and said Stacey had ruined everything.
TIMOTHY and JENIFFER
Timothy met Jeniffer's father Joaquin at his farm in Colombia, and she was daddy's girl. Jeniffer was therefore nervous to introduce Timothy to her father, mainly because her father is "the working type" and Timothy didn't seem to be that way.Jeniffer's father wanted to see if Timothy could complete odd jobs around the farm to prove he's good enough for his daughter, so Timothy had to bathe the cattle for lice and fleas and give one cow a shot, etc.

Jeniffer told her father that Timothy was responsible and interesting, but Joaquin didn't want to see his daughter get hurt again. He therefore told her to analyze the situation, but Jeniffer wasn't even sure she was in love with Timothy.
"There is a big difference between the person I met online and the person who is here today. I'm wondering if he's really the man I fell in love with. He hasn't even tried to kiss me, so I'm not sure," Jeniffer told the cameras.
After the meeting, Timothy felt stressed and flustered. He didn't know whether he had won over Jeniffer's family or whether Jeniffer was even "digging" him. Timothy wanted to "get romantic" with Jeniffer, but he believed she pulled back every time he tried to get physical.
Timothy was afraid to make a mistake and get his heart broken again. He admitted he was "scorned" from his past failed relationship with a Colombian woman but it was time to make a move and determine whether Jeniffer would reciprocate.
Timothy and Jeniffer then enjoyed a day of exploration, and Timothy finally went in for their first kiss. He said it was everything he had hoped it would be, and Jeniffer seemed giddy.
"Now we seem like a real couple," Jeniffer noted, adding that she felt chemistry.
Timothy said he felt "a lot of chemistry" with Jeniffer as well, and then the pair continued to kiss in public. Jeniffer thought the kiss was nice and Timothy had great lips.
"I love you, baby," Timothy said.
"I love you too," Jeniffer replied.

That night, Timothy and Jeniffer went back to their hotel together. Jeniffer was hoping to be more intimate with her man, but Timothy was nervous because he was scared of her and scared of losing their relationship.
Jeniffer said Timothy had these feelings because their relationship was serious and intense, but she said Timothy was the only person standing in his way. Jeniffer wanted to be passionate, positive and enjoy their time together.
"I just want him to show me that he can dominate," Jeniffer told the cameras.
Timothy felt insecure about everything that could possibly go wrong, especially because he had heard Latin men are beasts in the bedroom. However, it appeared Timothy was ready to take his relationship to the next level.
REBECCA and ZIED
Rebecca had less than one week less in Tunisia. She was falling in love with Zied, but she found it very difficult to open up to him given his family was so conservative.Rebecca told Zied the previous day that she had dated a woman before, and he seemed to take it well -- although he clearly disapproved of same-sex relationships -- but she was also still technically married to her ex from Morocco, which she had yet to tell him.
Rebecca had a lot more to share with Zied, but at the same time, she had much more to learn about him as well.
Rebecca therefore contacted her private investigator boss, who informed Rebecca that Zied had no criminal history and had never been married before. However, the private investigator found no job for Zied on record.

Rebecca had heard Zied was "an audience coordinator," but the private investigator said Zied had absolutely nothing listed for his career or job history, as if he had never worked a day in his life.
The private investigator worried Zied would come to the United States and live off Rebecca.

Rebecca was "completely head-over-heels in love" with Zied, but she had to get to the bottom of Zied's "zero employment history on his record."
Rebecca brought up Zied's background check at dinner and his lack of employment history, and the situation worried him because he wanted Rebecca to trust him. Zied explained his boss gave him money directly under the table at work.
Rebecca tried to give Zied the benefit of the doubt, but it concerned her Zied had nothing on his record at 26 years old. Zied told Rebecca he had worked in restaurants and at coffee shops, and Rebecca pointed out Zied would not stay at home in America while she worked.
Zied said he understood, but Rebecca was afraid to repeat her mistakes. She said they needed to come up with a plan so Zied could work, make money and help her out financially.
BENJAMIN and AKINYI
Benjamin believed in his heart that Akinyi was The One, but he had gotten off to a rough start with her family. For example, Akinyi's father didn't even show up when Benjamin met her mother.Akinyi, however, had organized a way for Benjamin to meet her father at their church, and Benjamin just hoped the meeting would go well. Benjamin was apparently studying to become a minister and noted religion is important to him, so he at least had that going for him.
Akinyi's father was a pastor at the church and proved himself to be a powerful, loud speaker. Benjamin was extremely nervous to meet the man, but he couldn't even sit with Akinyi at the service since hormones needed to be controlled.

Benjamin was "uneasy," but he shook the hand of Akinyi's father after the service. Benjamin apparently also needed the approval of Akinyi's elders, whom he was about to be introduced to.
Benjamin was tired of surprises and wished Akinyi would just give him a proper play-by-play of what was supposed to unfold.
Akinyi hoped Benjamin would make a good impression, and her father said Benjamin had to prove himself and do whatever was required of him since he's a Caucasian man.

Akinyi's father had trouble accepting the divorce, so Benjamin had to repeatedly explain himself. Benjamin found it painful to bring up his past over and over again, but he said he and Akinyi could overcome any challenges they face if they keep Christ at the center of their relationship.
"I want to have my wife as my wife for all of life," Benjamin insisted.
Benjamin received the elders' permission to marry Akinyi, and then her father gave his blessing as well since Benjamin seemed to be a serious man. Benjamin, however, still needed to figure out "a bride price" with Akinyi's family.
"He has to pay for it. It doesn't matter if he goes broke completely," Akinyi said of the bride price.
CAESAR and MARIA
Maria broke up with Caesar during his time in Cancun, Mexico, and he admitted the day felt "like a nightmare." Not only was Maria not coming, but she didn't even want to be with him anymore.Caesar hoped to work things out with Maria, but she didn't get back to him -- at least not right away.
Caesar was all alone at the resort, and he even had a nonrefundable, expensive and romantic dinner planned for Maria where he was going to propose marriage. Caesar had to eat the dinner alone, which included a bottle of champagne, and then some guests he had met at the hotel comforted him.

"Reality is starting to set in, and I'm just blaming myself right now for all of the mistakes and everything. It all came crashing down on me," Caesar vented, adding that he was basically eating his feelings.
Caesar felt Maria had just given up on him, and Caesar didn't believe in ever giving up on love. Caesar, however, had done everything he could -- and so he was "tired" and "done."
Caesar walked away from the cameras, saying he didn't want to talk anymore.

ANGELA and MICHAEL
Angela had been in Nigeria for three days after traveling 7,000 miles. Her relationship, however, had fallen apart because Michael had lied about something "as stupid as" being at a boat dock before.Angela said all that Michael did was lie and she was "sick of it." Angela wasn't ready to forgive Michael yet, but she said they needed to talk.
Michael was relieved to meet up with Angela, but he wasn't happy either since she had thrown a cake in his face and made him sleep in his car one night.
Angela apologized for the cake incident and said people who love each other don't treat each other this way. Angela acknowledged their relationship was "caustic" and lacked trust, and she wondered deep down whether Michael really was using her to come to the United States.
Michael apologized as well for breaking Angela's trust, but he promised to be honest with her going forward. Michael wanted to make things up to Angela, but she had apparently heard that many times before.
Angela asked Michael flat out whether he was using her for "a visa," and he replied, "Hell no. Hell no." Michael told Angela that he wanted to change and would stop his bad behavior, but Angela said she'd absolutely be done if he messed up again.
The pair kissed and made up, but Angela was clearly still uneasy about the situation.
After the pair started getting along again, they made a trip to see Michael's mother. Angela told Michael's mother that she'd try every way possible to give Michael a child. Michael wanted to carry on his family name, so he hoped Angela's daughter would be willing to carry their baby.
Michael's mother said if the medical procedure didn't work, Angela would have to release him and allow him to have a baby with another woman. But Angela insisted, "That's not happening!"
"I don't believe in that... No. Absolutely not... Who does that?!" Angela vented.
Michael's mother wasn't happy to hear Angela wouldn't do everything in her power to give Michael a baby, so tension was high and Michael was stuck in the middle of the two women in his life.
