90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days featured Rebecca Parrot telling Zied Hakimi she's still legally married, Benjamin Taylor proposing marriage to Akinyi Obala, Timothy Malcolm offering Jeniffer Tarazona a promise ring, Tom Brooks deciding to be exclusive with Darcey Silva, and Avery Mills returning to America during Sunday night's Season 3 broadcast on TLC.

Like 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' first two seasons, the third season follows Americans who started online romantic relationships with overseas partners as they travel overseas hoping to get engaged to someone they have never met in person and then begin the K-1 Visa immigration process.

Along the way, they're encountering challenges that include large age gaps, language barriers, cultural issues, and questionable pasts.

90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' Season 3 cast is comprised of Timothy, 38, from Charlotte, NC, and Jeniffer, 25, from Bucaramanga, Colombia; Darcey, 44, from Middletown, CT, and Tom, 39, from Nottingham, United Kingdom; Benjamin, 33, from Phoenix, AZ, and Akinyi, 25, from Nairobi, Kenya; Avery, 19, from Columbus, OH, and Omar Albakour, 24, from Latakia, Syria; Rebecca, 47, from Canton, GA, and Zied, 26, from Tunis, Tunisia; Angela Deem, 53, from Hazlehurst, GA, and Michael Ilesanmi, 29, from Lagos, Nigeria; and Caesar Mack, 46, from Jacksonville, NC, and Maria, 28, from Ukraine.

All of the couples were featured in this episode except for Caesar and Maria.

Below is an update on each 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days couple based on the latest episode of Season 3.

TIMOTHY and JENIFFER

Timothy was feeling good about his relationship with Jeniffer, and he thought she felt the same way.

Timothy was seeing a lot of positives in their romance, including the fact that Jeniffer seemed to be okay with his ex, Veronica, being his friend. Jeniffer also accepted how Timothy needs to take care of Veronica's daughter Chloe.

However, Timothy wasn't sure if he was ready to get engaged, and he was running out of time.

Timothy therefore FaceTimed with Veronica to receive some advice, and Veronica said Jeniffer seemed super nice when they had talked the other day but she's young. Veronica questioned whether Jeniffer's feelings for him were real.

Timothy also acknowledged he had yet to have sex with Jeniffer, which Veronica pointed out was a red flag. Veronica explained they had been fighting with no intimacy yet.

Timothy found himself confused and frustrated as a result of the conversation. Veronica had him second-guessing his relationship, and Timothy said he and Jeniffer needed to move forward together or be done as a couple.

"It doesn't have to be marry her or don't have her in your life," Veronica told Timothy.

Timothy was feeling pressure, knowing this decision would impact the rest of his life.

Timothy only had a few days left in Colombia, and he was hoping his heart would tell him what to do. He just wanted to make the right decision about whether to make Jeniffer his fiancee.

Timothy and Jeniffer then spent some romantic time together. He planned a special date for them and surprised Jeniffer with a picnic at the top of a mountain.

Jeniffer said she and Timothy were doing better and his effort made her fall in love with him even more. Jeniffer appreciated how Timothy was responsible, had a good heart and made her feel like a princess.

However, Jeniffer pointed out Timothy had yet to try to have sex with her, and so she asked him whether he's "gay or something."

Timothy said they had a lot going on and the time was never right, but he definitely wasn't gay. Timothy assured Jeniffer that he desired her, and she had hope they could make it as a couple.

Timothy didn't want to make a mistake, but he also didn't want to risk losing her if he ended up leaving Colombia without putting a ring on her finger.

Timothy and Jeniffer then went on a walk together with beautiful sights surrounding them.

"I think our relationship is very beautiful and we have a very unique story. The entire time I was here, I thought about the bads and I thought about the goods, and what I do know is that I really love you, and I brought you a ring," Timothy told Jeniffer.

Jeniffer immediately hugged Timothy and seemed happy and surprised, but then Timothy noted, "But I want to give it to you as a promise ring."

Jeniffer was surprised to hear the ring was not an engagement ring, but Timothy explained he wanted to continue working on their relationship. Timothy said he wanted to be smart about things, and Jeniffer accepted the ring.

Jeniffer, however, thought it was a good decision because they needed to learn more about each other and grow in love. She apparently didn't feel ready for an engagement either, especially because they had yet to have sex.

But Timothy promised that problem would be solved before he left Colombia.

The night after Timothy gave Jeniffer a promise ring, he apparently fell asleep early, leaving Jeniffer unsatisfied and confused once again.

"I'm sure at some point in our relationship you will tell me you are too tired," Timothy said.

"I am not that kind of girl," Jeniffer insisted.

Timothy didn't want Jeniffer to think he's a weird guy who doesn't like sex, but since he was exhausted, he let her down -- once again.

"I haven't had sex in a long time, so I was expecting we were going to do it," Jeniffer told her man.

Jeniffer wondered what was going on and whether she was pretty enough for Timothy. Timothy felt bad, and then Jeniffer noted, "You are the girl in this relationship."

To make up for things, Timothy brought Jeniffer to a spa, where they could both get pampered and release some tension. Jeniffer was feeling positive and optimistic.

While at the spa, Jeniffer told Timothy that her ring was beautiful, but then she asked, "Where did you get it?"

Timothy explained he had that ring for 10 years and initially bought it for Veronica. However, he said Veronica had returned the ring to Timothy and told him to give it to Jeniffer.

"You're giving me a ring of your ex?!" Jeniffer asked.

Jeniffer felt sad, disappointed and angry, and she told the cameras the ring lost all meaning for her in that moment. Jeniffer called the ring "trash" and took it off.

"She didn't want it, now you're giving me it. I don't want it. I'm really pissed," Jeniffer vented.

Jeniffer said the ring was not purchased for her and so it meant nothing to her. Timothy admitted he had messed up and the ring had done some damage.

DARCEY and TOM

It had been three weeks since Darcey arrived in England, but Tom had yet to say, "I love you," to her. Darcey said those three words are very special and they were something she really wanted to hear.

Darcey and Tom later met up with Emma and Tom's friend Carlos to do some salsa dancing and have some fun.

Tom wanted to share his passion for dancing with Darcey, and she could feel the energy between them as he taught her some moves.

Darcey thought she could see love in Tom's eyes, but then he took off and danced with other women since Darcey didn't really know the footwork. Tom admitted to cameras he preferred his old partners to Darcey, and Darcey just stood back watching and feeling awkward.

Darcey felt "pushed to the side" and grew jealous. She wanted the attention from Tom that she felt she deserved.

Darcey was clearly upset, and so Emma took her outside and asked to speak with her. Darcey said she wanted Tom to have fun at party, but she wanted to have a good time as well.

Emma explained people dance with each other in salsa and take turns. Darcey claimed she wasn't the jealous type, but Emma called Darcey "naive" and could tell she was head over heels for Tom.

Emma told Darcey that Tom was not a kept man and would never be one so she was basically wasting her time.

"I love him," Darcey cried. "It hurts to see that... I have a fantasy of your brother. I need to put reality into it."

Emma told Darcey that Tom is a successful, self-assured man who wouldn't want a possessive, jealous or needy partner. Emma advised Darcey to stop acting insecure, but she had trouble being confident in herself when Tom wasn't ready to commit to her or even say, "I love you."

Emma told Darcey to be honest with Tom and get some answers, but Darcey was scared. Emma apparently liked Darcey and thought she was really sweet, so she was hoping for the best for the couple.

Darcey therefore pulled Tom aside and said, "It is a little difficult for me to ask, but I kind of need to know something. Are we exclusive?"

Tom replied, "If you need clarification, then, yes, we are exclusive. It's just me and you."

Tom kissed Darcey and she felt great that they were finally in a committed relationship. She loved his answer and felt happy, but they only had two days left together.

"I think we're inching towards a possible proposal," Darcey noted.

BENJAMIN and AKINYI

Benjamin had "no clue" what he was going to do about proposing to/and marrying Akinyi since he had a son to keep in mind.

Benjamin had learned that if he popped the question, he'd automatically be Akinyi's husband in Kenyan culture, and he wasn't ready for that.

Benjamin told Akinyi that he loved her but was nervous about the next day when he'd be asking her father about a bride price. Benjamin wanted to make sure he and Akinyi would work as a couple, but she assured him, "We are working."

Akinyi asked Benjamin if he was having second thoughts, and Benjamin replied, "Honestly, I do have a little bit of doubt."

Benjamin was scared and told Akinyi they needed to communicate about his feelings. Benjamin asked Akinyi how she knew she'd get along with Grayson, and Akinyi said she wasn't sure but would love Grayson no matter how he'd come to feel about her.

Akinyi wasn't exactly looking forward to becoming a stepmother, but she knew Grayson and Benjamin were a package together and so she must love and accept them both. Akinyi was prepared to give Benjamin 110 percent, and she believed she had already given him that effort.

Akinyi cried over Benjamin's concerns, and Benjamin realized he didn't want to lose the love of his life. Benjamin therefore decided he'd go through with the marriage.

"I just hope I'm not getting married to the wrong person," Benjamin said in a confessional.

The next day, Benjamin and Akinyi attended the bride-price ceremony, but he was worried because he only had $800 American dollars to offer. He wasn't sure that was enough money to impress Akinyi's family or honor her parents.

Akinyi didn't think that was going to be enough money, but she said Benjamin would have to "sort it out" with her dad. Akinyi knew Benjamin and her father would have a negotiation, but she pointed out the bride price typically starts at $3,000.

"Eight hundred dollars is very insulting because the bride price is something that makes you feel proud of the man who's marrying you. Even men who aren't rich in Kenya get to $3,000 and more, so I don't think he has any excuse," Akinyi said in a confessional.

Akinyi said if Benjamin didn't have enough money, he'd have to find a way to get enough. Benjamin worried Akinyi was going to disappear and he'd be left devastated, because he noted Akinyi was the person whom he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

Before going to the bank, Benjamin presented Akinyi with a ring and asked, "Will you marry me?"

"Get on your knees! You're not doing it right!" Akinyi said with a laugh.

Benjamin then got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?"

"Yes," she replied shyly.

Akinyi loved the ring but it didn't fit, so she'd have to get it resized. She wondered, however, why she wasn't crying.

The time then came for Benjamin and Akinyi's father to negotiate a bride price, and he was totally on his own. Benjamin acknowledged if his offer wasn't accepted, it could be the last time he'd ever see Akinyi.

Benjamin got off to a bad start because he was late for the ceremony. Akinyi's father said Benjamin would willingly negotiate a bride price if he was serious about marrying Akinyi.

Akinyi's parents thought the bride price was a way of thanking them for raising Akinyi.

Benjamin presented groceries to Akinyi's parents and then asked how they could move forward. Akinyi's father seemed displeased because he thought groceries were an appropriate gesture for the loss of a loved one or someone's funeral.

Akinyi's father then asked his daughter to join them, which Benjamin thought was premature, so Benjamin worried he had made a mistake.

AVERY and OMAR

Omar and Avery were headed to the airport, where Avery would be boarding a 30-hour flight and heading back to the United States.

Avery knew it would be hard to maintain a long-distance relationship with Omar, but her plan was to apply for a spousal visa in the U.S. and then, a few months later, move to Syria so the couple could be together while waiting for the approval.

Avery was emotional about leaving her husband, but Omar asked her to be strong and positive.

Avery's trip in Lebanon only lasted 10 days, and Omar said it felt like only one day.

"Hopefully we can see each other as soon as possible," Omar told the cameras.

Avery and Omar expressed their love for one another, and then Avery broke down into tears before walking to security. Avery wished she could stay with her husband, but she said she'd remember her time with him forever.

"I'll remember this trip for the rest of my life. Every second I had with Omar, I am grateful for, and I hope and I pray I get more," Avery said, adding that there was a chance she might never see him again.

Omar didn't cry, but he admitted he was feeling "broken" on the inside and eyes never lie.

Avery was later shown arriving in Columbus, OH, and her mother Teri was thrilled to welcome her back home. Teri didn't want Avery to move to Syria because of the war, so she planned to stop her using every method possible.

Nate, Avery's stepfather, also picked her up at the airport with Teri. He was concerned about Avery going to Syria because he wouldn't be able to help her if something happened over there, but Avery said she planned on going for at least a month.

Teri feared Avery getting pregnant in a foreign country, especially in a warzone, and Avery was getting the feeling she'd have to choose between her husband and her family. And Avery clearly seemed ready to choose Omar.

"I'm going -- and I'm not coming back [to the United States] until he comes with me. I don't want to hurt them, but it's something I've got to do," Avery said in a confessional.

REBECCA and ZIED

Things were tense after Rebecca and Zied had an argument over a picture of her Moroccan ex on her phone. Rebecca wanted to enjoy the time she had left with Zied, but she still had to inform him that she was legally a married woman at the time.

But before dropping the bomb on Zied, the pair went ATVing and had some fun together during their last day at the Sahara Desert together.

Zied said despite the issues that came up during Rebecca's stay in Tunisia, he loved her more and more every day. He planned to propose marriage to her soon but was just waiting for the perfect time.

"You have been so much more than I thought," Rebecca told Zied. "I love you."

After Zied told Rebecca he loved her as well and she was perfect, Rebecca shared her secret.

Rebecca was scared to lose Zied, but she confessed, "There's something I need to talk to you about. My divorce papers, they are not final yet. So technically, right this minute, I am still married."

Zied asked Rebecca to repeat herself, and then his mouth dropped open in shock and disbelief.

"Married? What you mean?" Zied asked.

"Before I came here, I filed the papers with court. So when I go back to America, I have to go back to court one more time," Rebecca elaborated.

"You now, woman married?" Zied questioned.

"Yeah," Rebecca responded. "I'm sorry."

"I not want your sorry. Not tell me sorry for this. This no good for me. Why you [not] tell me this before?" Zied asked.

"I don't know," Rebecca replied.

Zied was upset and said this situation was "not normal."

"Me not accept this. You are with another man. This is not ex. This is your husband now," Zied said.

But Rebecca insisted she and her ex had both signed the papers and they were done. Regardless, Zied was angry and walked away from her. Zied felt Rebecca had lied to him about everything in that moment.

"I would like her to return to her country as if I never knew her in my life," Zied vented to the cameras. "I never stay with woman still married."

Rebecca approached Zied and attempted to hash things out, but Zied said he didn't want to talk to her. Rebecca decided to leave, and she felt sick to her stomach.

Rebecca had never seen Zied so angry, and she didn't know what to do. Zied then took off on an ATV and left Rebecca behind. Rebecca called for Zied, but he did not look back.

"I'm going to throw up. I never felt this bad in my life. I hope he comes back. I don't know where he's going, but if he refuses to talk to me again, that's it. I'm done. I'll never find anyone like him again, and that will be it," Rebecca said in a confessional.

ANGELA and MICHAEL

Angela didn't like Michael's friends, and she had gotten into a big fight with them the night prior. Angela had chased Michael's friends away one by one, and Michael was upset over that.

Michael admitted he wasn't happy with Angela and was disappointed in her attitude and behavior from the previous day. Michael had expected more, and he didn't appreciate the fact Angela had yelled at his friends and embarrassed him like that.

Angela said she was mad because of what Michael had done when he was with them. One night, Angela was sick at home and needed Michael's emotional support, but instead, he chose to go out with his pals and break Angela's trust.

Angela told the cameras all the anger she had bottled up towards Michael's friends was actually directed at Michael. That incident apparently cut Angela deep, but Michael apologized again for it.

"I'm going to be your wife, and I know sometimes, I'm not right in how I act," Angela told Michael.

"But don't put no one before me except for God and of course your mom. I need to know that no matter what condition I'm in, I have you there no matter what. That's why I'm here."

Michael promised Angela that he'd be by her side, and with that being said, Angela decided to make things right and apologize to his friends for how she had acted -- but not for what she had said.

Angela felt bad for embarrassing her fiance, and Michael was thankful to hear Angela cared.

Angela later apologized to Michael's friends for how she had acted, but she insisted she would not forget, nor would she be their friend going forward. Angela had hoped she'd be a part of their family, but she said they had really hurt her.

"That's not the kind of family I want in my life," Angela said.

The two guys insisted they never meant to hurt Angela, and then Michael asked his friends to have more respect both for himself and for his fiancee.

The guys wanted peace and didn't want to hurt Michael, so they apologized to the couple as well. Michael's friends wanted to see Michael happy, and so did Angela, so she accepted their apology.

"I have a big heart, but I will not let anyone stomp on it," Angela told Michael's pals before breaking down into tears.

The talk smoothed things over, but Angela feared she wouldn't be able to live up to cultural expectations as Michael's fiancee, especially when it came to having a baby. She wondered whether Michael's family would stand by her or not.
