[90 Day Fiance Spoilers: This report reveals the current status of Kim and Usman's relationship and if they are still a couple or have split up since Kim's trip to Tanzania].

Usman, a 32-year-old from Sokoto, Nigeria, married Lisa Hamme on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days and the pair split in May 2020. Usman later reportedly served Lisa with divorce papers in December 2020.

Although Lisa and Usman had tied the knot in Nigeria, their marriage wasn't legal in the United States and so Lisa revealed in April 2021 she had decided to marry her "best friend," a man named Tracey she had met in the fifth grade.

Lisa ultimately believed she was "the victim of a romance scam" with Usman, and she accused him having used her for fame to advance his rap career. But Usman also believed he had been used and taken advantage of.

Following his divorce, Usman seriously dated a woman named Zara, who's 36 years old, but the woman apparently broke up with Usman because she didn't like all the attention he was receiving from fans.

As shown on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, Usman and Kim, a 50-year-old from San Diego, CA, both traveled to Zanzibar, Tanzania, to meet in-person for the first time after talking virtually and on the phone for nearly a year.

Considering Usman had gone through a tumultuous marriage and divorce with Lisa, he wanted to get to know Kim -- a "Super Fan" whom Usman called his "potential" girlfriend -- for a couple of weeks before determining whether they should be in an exclusive relationship.

Once Kim and Usman met in-person for the first time, Kim was immediately smitten and Usman thought Kim looked really good, like in her early thirties. Kim also gifted her potential boyfriend some expensive gifts, such as a MacBook Pro, which quickly allowed Usman to catch some feelings.

Usman's management team worried Usman being with "another old lady" wouldn't be good for his image, but Usman didn't seem to care, and he was excited to bring Kim to his music-video shoot. Little did Kim know, however, that the song "Zara" was about his ex-girlfriend.

Usman had told Kim that "Zara" just represented all the women around the world.

Kim ended up impressing Usman at the video shoot. Not only did she support him and take charge by whipping his team into shape, but she also maintained her cool and didn't get jealous of the young models on the set.

However, the couple ended up arguing a couple of times over their lack of intimacy.

Kim wanted to sleep in the same bedroom as Usman and kiss and have sex with him during her trip to make sure they had physical chemistry, but Usman kept pushing that off and accused Kim of rushing things.

Usman eventually agreed to sleep in the same bed as Kim in her honeymoon suite, but he basically wouldn't touch her.

"Just admit you don't want me!" Kim said, on the verge of tears.

"If I didn't want you, I wouldn't invite you," Usman replied.

Usman was turned off and angry about Kim's aggressive approach to their intimate relationship. He wanted to wait until the time was right.

"If this is what she wants and this is how she's going to be, maybe moving into her room was a mistake," Usman admitted. "And maybe this relationship is not going to work out at all."

Kim threatened Usman, saying that if she left single, their romance would be over and she'd start dating other men back in the United States.

Kim didn't want to just be Usman's friend, but she also didn't want to have to beg a man to be with her and sleep with her.

"So no more friendship?" Usman asked.

"No, we'd be done," Kim replied.

The ultimatum apparently worked because after Usman met Kim's son via Zoom, he agreed to have sex with her -- "the African way."

Usman planned to blow Kim away, and she joked, "Where have you been for eight days?!"

Before the pair had sex, Usman said, "I now pronounce you boyfriend and girlfriend... That's why we're having sex tonight."

Kim seemed overjoyed, and Usman pointed out how she could call him "baby" instead of "potential" going forward.

Usman said he wanted Kim to be his girlfriend because she's loyal, supportive, patient, and he felt "real love" with her. He intended to call her "Queen Kimberly" from that point on.

Kim said her first sexual encounter with Usman was "absolutely amazing," and Usman revealed they actually had sex four times and it was "yummy, yummy" and "awesome."

But Usman shattered Kim's world when he told her the truth about his song "Zara."

"I tell you everything! How dare you keep a secret from me! And I've been loyal to you this whole f-cking time?! Are you f-cking kidding me?!... You're making me feel like a f-cking fool," Kim complained.

Kim continued to lash out saying, "We've been talking for a year! That's crazy as hell, because I thought I was the one who was repairing his heart and rebuilding his trust... I feel stupid I even came down here."

Kim, who had been cheated on before, told Usman to "get the f-ck out of here" with his lies and suggested they should maybe go their separate ways.

Kim determined her relationship was based on a lie. Usman, on the other hand, thought he deserved more respect from his girlfriend. He didn't think it was a big deal.

Usman insisted he had broken up with Zara before he began dating Kim and they just started out as friends, but Kim felt lied to and betrayed. She wasn't sure he loved her at all.

Kim said she couldn't go back to being Usman's girlfriend without a grand gesture. Kim said she needed Usman to actually prove that he was truly "in love" with her.

Kim also took a necklace back she had given Usman, saying she'd only return it if Usman would be able to prove his love. Usman laughed and thought Kim's threat was funny, and so she threw a drink in his face!

"I hope that was f-cking funny too!" Kim said before storming off.

Kim said Usman had shown a complete lack of disregard for her feelings by laughing and so she wouldn't put up with that again. Usman said he was used to submissive women in his culture and so Kim's behavior was "unheard of" and "highly disrespectful."

Usman snapped and told Kim, "Safe flight."

"The way she is acting is totally different from who I know... Things have changed and honestly, I'm not feeling this relationship anymore with Kimberly. It's similar to my ex-wife [Kim] right now," Usman told the cameras.

Kim was so angry that she threatened to break everything in her hotel room, and then she just put her face into her hands and cried. She said they had both lost and weren't going to work things out.

Kim planned to remove Usman from her life, which she acknowledged would be extremely difficult, and she added, "I'll probably never date again -- ever."

While Kim was shown packing her suitcase, Usman texted her and asked her to meet him immediately. Kim couldn't help but break a smile and giggle, and she admitted how she felt nervous and just hoped Usman wouldn't play a mind game with her.

That evening, Kim walked out to a dinner table on the beach surrounded by lanterns and red rose petals. Usman also performed a rap song for Kim, and the lyrics seemed to be about her.

"Kim, I don't know what else I can do to make you believe that I love you, and I hope that should be convincing," Usman said.

"It's very convincing," Kim replied.

Usman fought for Kim because she had been so loyal and supportive of him, and he appreciated her travels from America to Africa. Usman therefore wanted to work things out with Kim and move forward as a couple without fighting.

Kim finally felt certain about Usman's love, and she asked him to sleep in her hotel room again that night. Kim loved the private concert, which was actually a dream come true for her.

Kim called it the best night of her life and decided to forgive Usman, and then the pair agreed that she should meet his mother soon.

Kim was about to leave Tanzania and said she was very sad about having to say goodbye to her man, but Usman and Kim felt pretty secure in their romance and both thought they'd have a future together.

Kim cried on her way back to the airport, and Usman comforted her in the car. Kim said she had never felt a love like this before and she deserved it.

"I'm afraid that if I leave here, it's not going to be the same feeling over videochat. And he does make me happy when we're not fighting," Kim shared.

When a producer asked the couple if there would be a goodbye kiss, Kim said, "Yes." But Usman said, "No," because kissing in an airport is like making a public announcement.

Kim was hurt Usman wouldn't kiss her in public and she wondered if he was ashamed of her. However, Kim still left Tanzania smiling, and she told Usman that she loved him before walking away from him.

Kim admitted that Usman sometimes made her feel insecure and she was leaving "on a doubtful note."

"How are we going to make this work? I'm trusting him by giving him another chance not to break my heart once we get back to the States, but I think Usman is worth the risk," Kim said.

So are Usman and Kim still together or has the 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days couple split up?

Kim hinted she's still dating Usman in a late March interview with Entertainment Tonight by talking about how she'd be okay with him having multiple wives.

"I am down for Usman to have a second wife, okay? But he needs to tell me about it," Kim said.

"Don't keep me in the dark. You can't just pull up and be like, 'Hey, by the way.' Be real with me and I feel that's another misconception too. Like I said, I wasn't upset that he was in a relationship [with Zara]. I was upset he didn't tell me about the relationship when he was flirting with me all the time."

Kim said she doesn't even know how Usman dated Zara simultaneously.

"Because we were on the phone all the time. So, I don't know how much time she got. I don't know how much time I got. Do you see what I'm saying? That's why I was upset. I was doing my own little thing too," Kim explained.

As far as Usman having a second wife goes, Kim said, "That's this culture, I'm not going to be here and sitting there going to a fertility clinic and all that. I'm done. I wash my hands."

Kim called herself "realistic" and said she respects Usman's culture.

"I respect his religion, but he has to tell me about it first. Don't keep it a secret. You have to tell me," Kim noted.

On March 3, Kim and Usman appeared in a joint Instagram Live session that has since expired.

Usman freestyled a new song about Kim during the video, according to In Touch Weekly, and Kim insisted their love is "real," which shows they are still together and going strong.

"I started out as Usman's fan and then I became his friend," she reportedly said. "I want people to know that my relationship or anything I do in my life is not a fraud. I don't roll like that."

A couple of weeks earlier, Kim wished Usman a "happy Valentine's Day" and added that "love is love" on February 14.

She also posted an animation of the couple and wrote, "You have potential," which is what Usman had said to Kim when they were getting to know each other long-distance.

And back in January, Kim told Us Weekly that she was "very happy."

"I am ecstatically happy right now. I am very, very happy," Kim said, although she wouldn't reveal whether she was happy with Usman at the time.

On possibly getting married in the future, Kim revealed, "I don't know. I don't know about the marriage thing. I mean, I can't really answer that."

Kim also said she believed Usman was dating her for the right reasons, not to obtain a green card in America or boost his fame and rap career. She said Usman wanted to appear on the 90 Day Fiance franchise again just to put their storyline out there for the world to see.

Usman similarly told ET in December 2021 that he was "not scamming anybody" and he is actually madly in love with Kim.

"I love her with all my bones, my heart," Usman said at the time.

"Right now, I am so much in love. I love Kimberly, I can say that any way in the world. I love her. I'm not shy. I'm not ashamed. I am proud to say that I love her. I love her for real."

The rapper also claimed he doesn't need to "use" anyone for financial gain at this point in his career, nor was he ever desperate to move to America and live in the United States.

"For me, being in America is a goal, but it's not the only goal. For me, my goal is to be No. 1 -- the top, top rapper in the world," Usman clarified.
