90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days star Timothy Malcolm has revealed whether there's a chance he could ever get back together with his ex-fiancee, Veronica, if his relationship with Jeniffer Tarazona doesn't work out.

"The romantic ship sailed. So now I'm just appreciative; she's a very dear friend of mine."

The 38-year-old from Charlotte, NC, dated Veronica for almost nine years, but the former couple called off their engagement and split up four years before he started filming the third season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days with new girlfriend Jeniffer, a 25-year-old from Bucaramanga, Colombia.
Timothy said that after initially fighting over assets, he and Veronica found themselves in a good place and grew to become best friends as they raised her daughter Chloe, now 12, together.
Although Timothy is not Chloe's biological father, he considers Chloe his daughter in every sense of the word.
When Timothy planned to fly to Colombia to meet Jeniffer for the first time and potentially propose marriage to her, Veronica feared how his new relationship was going to fit into their happy pre-existing life.
Veronica also questioned Jeniffer's motives and said she only wants what's best for Timothy.
"She's, in my mind, the mother of my daughter, so we co-parent. A lot of people say, 'Oh, we wish you'd get back together,' but it's not going to happen," Timothy told ET.
"I'll say that first here! You will never read that in headlines -- ever -- that Veronica and me are back together."

Timothy added he and Veronica are "best friends" but their relationship is "part-time."
RELATED LINK: '90 DAY FIANCE' COUPLES NOW"If we're both in relationships, we get busy and it really just becomes handing off Chloe when I spend time with her. But she's somebody I know if I need, she's there," he explained.
Timothy also confirmed he no longer speaks to his other ex-girlfriend, another Colombian woman whom he had listed as "Mami" in his phone.
"I hope she's doing well and I wish her the best, but no, the only friend I have who's an ex is Veronica," Tim said.
"If you date somebody, you don't have to hate them after you're done. You can just wish each other well and realize it didn't work out and just be nice to each other. Date, don't hate."
Timothy echoed similar sentiments during another interview with Us Weekly at the same 90 Day Fiance press event.
"Romantically we're not a good fit... If we got back together, I would be very surprised. Probably as surprised as everyone else. We were together for almost nine years. We gave it a good solid effort," Timothy said.

"We have a child that we raise. So we'll always be good, but we don't hang out as much as people think. If she's got a boyfriend, which she does right now, we only see each other when we're handing off Chloe."

Not only did Timothy give Jeniffer a promise ring that used to be Veronica's engagement ring, but Veronica also asked Jeniffer some blunt questions about her sex life with Timothy the first time the two women ever FaceTimed.
"That's Veronica. She's just a very f-cking direct person," Tim told Us. "I would have expected nothing less."
In fact, Timothy admitted he was "laughing inside" when Veronica and Jeniffer had that awkward exchange, which seemed to offend Jeniffer.
"That's the one thing Veronica and I have always had in our relationship -- a sense of humor -- and we find humor in a lot of things that other people don't," Timothy shared.
"So I was secretly amused that she was kind of putting me on the spot. I couldn't say that because Jeniffer would have killed me, but I knew Veronica a lot better than I knew Jeniffer obviously, so I knew she was doing it to piss Jeniffer off."

Timothy confessed Veronica can be "a little catty" still.
"You know what I mean? That's who she is," Timothy pointed out.
Timothy also expressed disappointment over the fact Veronica has received some backlash and hate from fans since the 90 Day Fiance spinoff began airing on TLC.
"I feel bad because I love Veronica and, in my world, she's the mother of my daughter. So, to read negative things about her when she's someone so genuine, it really hurts me," Timothy told the magazine.
"I can take negative comments about me, but when it's about my friends or my loved ones, it bothers me."
Timothy wouldn't reveal whether he's still in a relationship with Jeniffer, but the latest episode showed Jeniffer getting upset her promise ring had initially been picked out for Veronica.

90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' third-season finale will air Sunday, October 27 at 8PM ET/PT on TLC and immediately be followed by Part 1 of the season's Tell-All reunion special on 9PM ET/PT.
Part 2 of the Tell-All will then air as a super-sized three-hour episode on Monday, October 28 at 8PM ET/PT.
