90 Day Fiance couple Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno are opening up about who made the first move in their relationship -- and they don't agree on the story.

Chantel and Pedro, who currently appear on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, were initially featured on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance.

The married couple was first introduced online about four years ago when Chantel was looking for a Spanish teacher, and Pedro hoped to learn some English in return. But what began as a mutually-beneficial relationship for educational purposes quickly turned into a mutual crush.

Chantel then took a trip to the Dominican Republic to visit Pedro, and both individuals have a different recollection of the events that transpired once she stepped off the plane in his home country.

"You kissed me," Chantel said in a video interview posted on TLC Network's official Twitter account.

"No, you kissed me first," Pedro interjected before Chantel could finish her statement.

"Right when I got off the plane," she continued.

"No, no, no, no, no," Pedro disagreed.

"I was like, 'I don't even know this guy,'" Chantel said with a laugh.

"No, no. You kissed me first, baby, okay?" Pedro responded.

Chantel then explained that Pedro picked her up from the airport with flowers, walked down the runway, and kissed her without hesitation. But Pedro countered that it was all Chantel's idea.

"Remember what you say, 'You kiss me the first time you see me?' And I say, 'Yes,'" Pedro said in the TLC video.

Chantel backed down at this point, suggesting the desire for an immediate kiss was just a misunderstanding.

Chantel admitted she didn't speak Spanish well in the beginning of their relationship and so she thought they were just being playful and flirty during the conversation Pedro recalls.

"I didn't know you were actually going to do it," Chantel told her husband. "I didn't know -- I didn't know you were serious about it. I thought it was just a little flirt."

"I said, 'So the first time I see you, you want me to kiss you?' And you said, 'Yes!'" Pedro insisted.

Chantel then flashed a smile and blushed a little bit, before Pedro laughed off the situation, noting, "It doesn't matter. But you liked the kiss, I know."

Also in the TLC video, Chantel gushed about the moment she knew she had fallen in love with Pedro.

"I knew that I loved you when I was back in the United States and I woke up looking for my Pepe because I thought that I was still in the Dominican Republic and I forgot that I came back," Chantel said.

Chantel and Pedro are still married and currently reside in Georgia together.
