90 Day Fiance couple Emily Larina and Sasha Larin have shared the details of Sasha's recent health crisis and how it turned out he didn't have coronavirus after all.

Emily initially revealed on March 27 that her husband was suffering from fever, body aches, and severe stomach pains. After Emily brought Sasha to the hospital, doctors feared he had contracted coronavirus.

However, Emily recently revealed Sasha's test results for coronavirus came back negative, and Sasha is now  feeling much more like himself after battling a mysterious illness.

"What does not kill you, makes you stronger. This two weeks was a really tough for me. I've never been feeling so bad in my life. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep. My body temperature was a extremely high. I didn't know what kind of virus I've got but it was awful. I lost so many body resources to fight that ailment," Sasha wrote April 3 on Instagram.

"I still feel weak and trying to regain all I've lost. Thank you my dear @emily.larina for your care and support. I would probably went crazy without your help. Also want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me in that hard time."

Emily shared Sasha's COVID-19 test results one day earlier on April 2.

"Finally, here are the results. Sasha is not COVID positive. I'm relieved, but I'm also left with more questions. There are some things I don't need to address, but I will. First, I believe in using the ER for what it is for...emergencies. When Sasha first had a fever, I assumed he had the cold I did," Emily wrote on Instagram.

"After 6 days, his temperature was 101-102. He was pale, not eating, and at night he told me he couldn't tell if he was asleep or awake. We made a teledoc appointment like you are supposed to in order to avoid people. The doc thought it was maybe COVID, but wasn't sure. He said to go ahead and go to the doctor if there was no improvement."

Emily said she later brought Sasha to an urgent care facility.

"[We] called ahead so Sasha had no contact with other people. I was worried something internal was going on. They sent him home and still there was no improvement. Fast forward and Sasha is clutching his left side in pain saying 'what's happening to me' and his fever is still high," Emily continued in her post.

"I called my family member who is an ER nurse, and she said it wouldn't be a bad idea to take him in at this point. Sasha is not a hypochondriac, so I trust he was in serious pain when he said he wanted to go. At the ER, his symptoms were bad enough to warrant a test. We'll be following up with another doctor to rule out anything else."

Emily said while they managed to get Sasha's temperature under control and her husband was willing to eat a little bit, he still wasn't the same.

"He's not himself. I went live and said Sasha was sick. People wanted updates, so I provided them. I post cute pics of my kids and random selfies on IG then go to working full-time. I don't chase clout. To the dismay of production and others, Sasha and I just work. We don't need to pull stunts," Emily explained.

Emily also mentioned she and Sasha were asked to film for the TLC franchise again. (According to the cast announcement for 90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined, which premieres April 20, Emily and Sasha will in fact be featured on the show).

"They asked us to self film while I was sick, we said maybe. We haven't signed anything. 90 day fiance was a funny chapter in our lives. If you want to follow my family after watching, cool," Emily went on in her post.

"To block me without knowing me and say we are trying to gain attention is gross. The father of my child and his brothers is sick, I did what I thought was best. This is a scary time for all. Don't be an ass #90dayfiance."

Emily revealed in her Instagram Stories on April 1 that Sasha was "doing better" and his body temperature had finally fallen below 100 degrees. She also shared with fans at the time Sasha was able to eat dinner and had appeared to turn a corner, according to screenshots of Emily's postings captured by 90 Day Fiance Instagrammer John Yates.

On March 30, Emily reportedly said Sasha was quarantining himself in their bedroom and he had gastrointestinal issues, which Emily said are present in 10 percent of COVID-19 cases.

Around that same time, Emily revealed on Instagram that she had never seen Sasha in such rough shape before and he was in a lot of pain, according to screenshots of Emily's Instagram Stories reposted by the Instagram account @90dayfiancenews.

On March 27, Emily took to Instagram and wrote of the couple's young son David, "Baby and I are okay. Sasha has had a fever, no cough, but aches and stomach pain. I'm caring for him while trying to handle work and childcare."

"Just a couple weeks ago Sasha had got a job," she added at the time, "we found an apartment we wanted to move to, and it felt like life was really moving forward. Things can change so fast. Keep your loved ones safe. #stayhome #togetherapart #90dayfiance."

Emily and Sasha starred on Season 7 of 90 Day Fiance and announced earlier in March that Sasha had received a work permit and began a job working as a personal trainer in the United States.

The couple apparently began dating in Russia in June 2016 and got engaged in February 2017.

Emily -- who is originally from Portland, OR but lived in Russia for several years after finishing college -- and Sasha from Moscow, Russia, welcomed their son David into the world in November 2018.

About six months after Emily gave birth to David, 90 Day Fiance showed her family moving to the United States after Sasha's K-1 visa was approved. The pair then got married in Portland.

"Where the wind blows... a man flies," Sasha's first wife Masha vented to 90 Day Fiance's producers during the season. "His family will not keep him. His [two other] children will not keep him... Men only think about themselves."

"I don't know if Sasha will leave Emily the way he left his first two wives," Masha said.

Although Emily's family supported her union, they remained skeptical of Sasha's intentions and character.

"I think we'll see Sasha's true behavior once he actually gets the Green Card," Emily's sister Betsy said on the 90 Day Fiance Season 7 Tell-All special.

Sasha, however, continues to insist he loves Emily and their marriage will last, and Emily repeatedly fires back at critics who claim otherwise.
