According to court documents, Mark filed the divorce paperwork to end his marriage to Nikki on March 2.
On March 3, Mark filed a motion to seal their divorce but his request was denied.
The couple's prenuptial agreement was submitted along with the divorce papers, and Mark is clearly looking to protect his assets and wealth.
Mark and Nikki starred on Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance in 2015 alongside a handful of couples including longtime fan-favorite cast members Alexei Brovarnik and Loren Goldstone.
Mark is from Baltimore, MD and the owner of a piano rental business. His relationship includes marriages to not one but two different Filipino women.
After going through the K-1 visa process and marrying a Filipino woman in the United States, Mark and his first wife ended up divorcing.
Mark then remained single for 20 years and raised the four children from his first marriage. However once his children were grown, he decided to look for love again and signed up for an online dating service.
At the age of 58, Mark fell hard and fast for Nikki, who was 19 years old and living in Cebu, Philippines at the time. Cebu also happened to be the same Filipino city Mark's ex-wife was from.

Mark then decided to visit Nikki in the Philippines, and after just two days of meeting, he popped the question -- with a zip tie opposed to an engagement ring -- and she accepted the marriage proposal.

Afterward, Mark applied for another K-1 visa and eventually brought Nikki in Baltimore, where they tried to build a life together.
But Nikki's age caused problems in Mark's family, especially since his youngest daughter Ellie is only two years older than Nikki.
Nikki and Mark still decided to go through with a wedding, however, and got married in 2015.
Mark was reportedly extremely unhappy with his portrayal on Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance and attempted to sue TLC and its Sharp Entertainment production company in 2017 over it, however his lawsuit was dismissed by a judge.
Given the animosity, Mark and Nikki never appeared on any of 90 Day Fiance's spinoffs.
The 90 Day Fiance franchise is currently airing Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days on Sunday nights as well as 90 Day: The Single Life and 90 Day Diaries on Monday nights on TLC.
