90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? featured drama coming to a head for two of its Season 4 couples -- including Ashley Martson learning Jay Smith had cheated on her by having a sexual encounter with a woman in the bathroom of a barber shop and Chantel Everett being told by a friend that Pedro Jimeno's family had set up their relationship so Pedro would have a better life in America.

In addition, Paola Mayfield and Russ Mayfield welcomed their first child together and Larissa Christina Dos Santos Lima returned home from jail and Colt Johnson found himself questioning and contemplating the future of their marriage during Sunday night's broadcast of the series on TLC.

The two-hour 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? broadcast also featured Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet.

Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou, however, were not featured in this episode.

"Many painful realities and unexpected obstacles await as they navigate cultural differences, pregnancies, in-laws, scandals and more," TLC previously teased of the new season.

This season has featured explosive fights, confrontations, tears and even police involvement so far, and there is still apparently much more to come.

Below is the latest on each 90 Day Fiance couple, according to the new episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s fourth season:

COLT and LARISSA

Colt said the last couple of days had been hell, as Larissa had been arrested for domestic violence for the second time and he had spent the previous night waiting outside a detention center for Larissa to be released from jail.

Larissa had been released earlier that morning, and Colt wasn't sure whether she was alright.

Colt said, "I love you," to Larissa while she was in bed, and he just asked her to get some rest. He found the last few days "emotionally and physically exhausted."

Colt said he was tired, angry and exhausted, and he figured his mother Debbie was going to be upset about everything that happened. However, Debbie had been away on a trip, and Colt was thankful she wasn't around that weekend to witness the explosive fight.

After picking up his mother at the airport, Colt told Debbie that Larissa had a court hearing the following month.

Debbie hoped Larissa would be deported and Colt would discover he couldn't handle Larissa's drama anymore.

Once the pair returned home, Debbie saw that the screen in her window had been cut and an officer had kicked in the front door and basically ruined that door as well.

"I don't want her around Colt anymore. I want it to end," Debbie said in a confessional.

Larissa later explained to the cameras she and Colt got into a huge fight because Colt was "a cheap man" who had attempted to shut off her cell phone service.

She was "devastated and sad" in jail and feared she was going to be deported.

Colt and Larissa had a lot of issues, especially because she locked herself in her room and ignored Colt most of the time once she got home.

Colt wanted to talk things through and told Larissa he regretted taking away her phone privileges. Larissa felt Colt had taken away her rights in that moment, and he understood where she was coming from.

Colt, however, insisted he never made a statement to the police when she was arrested for the second time. She had been charged once before but the case got dismissed, so Colt was hopeful the same outcome would happen again.

Larissa told her husband that she wanted to obtain a Green Card and work in the United States, but her future plans didn't seem to have anything to do with Colt and their marriage.

Colt felt he was being used so Larissa could stay in the United States, and he told the cameras he wasn't going to deal with that.

Larissa was tired of Colt blaming her and threatened to be done with him.

"Ever since Larissa arrived to America, she's created nothing but problems -- from money to arrests to lawyers. I have to sacrifice my own well-being and happiness just to make this marriage continue. I don't know if I can live like this anymore," Colt vented.

ASHLEY and JAY

Ashley explained she had been looking on Jay's social media and noticed a local girl was commenting on a lot of his pictures as if they had been best friends.

Ashley therefore called the barbers at Jay's barber shop, hoping to learn some information from them. She worried the guys would be loyal to Jay and not cough up the truth, but she didn't know what else to do or who to turn to.

Michael, a barber at the shop, didn't like being stuck in the middle of Jay and Ashley's dispute, but he wanted to be honest with Ashley.

"You can't just go through life hurting people, and I have a daughter, so I would want somebody to tell my daughter if she was in this situation," Michael told the cameras.

Ashley told the guys Jay had been up to no good but was denying everything and so she was looking for answers. She started to cry to the guys and brought up the fact a woman who was "a stripper" had been writing on Jay's Facebook.

Ashley explained she had invested so much time, energy and money into her relationship with Jay.

"I don't know nothing about that," Kendell, the owner of the barber shop, said of the stripper.

"But we know that he was in here and I was allowing him do a couple of tattoos, and he disrespected my barber shop. He took somebody in the bathroom while he was supposed to be tattooing. There was customers in here."

"What do you mean? He took somebody in?" Ashley asked.

"We were working in here and all of a sudden, it got quiet, and we didn't know what was going on..." Kendell explained.

"He went and had sex with someone in your bathroom?" Ashley asked.

"Yes," Kendell replied, before showing Ashley a surveillance video showing Kendell throwing Jay out of his shop.

Kendell told the cameras that he had told Ashley the truth because Jay had taken advantage of a great opportunity for work and disrespected his barber shop and co-workers.

Kendell was very upset with Jay and so he told Ashley what had been going on "because nobody likes to get played." The guys in the barber shop felt bad for Ashley and seemed to care about her well-being.

Ashley stormed out of the barber shop crying and later told Michael, "He's gone. He's deported. I don't care. There's no saving his ass now. He's f-cking disgusting and he's gone. Bye, back to Jamaica you go!... I'm done."

Michael thought Jay had been using Ashley the whole time just to come to the United States.

Ashley then FaceTimed Jay from inside her car and told him that if he showed up at her house, the police would be there to deport his ass. Jay had a shocked look on his face but didn't say a word, and then she hung up on him.

Ashley called her friend Destiny and revealed the woman whom Jay had sex with in the bathroom of the barber shop was so loud that everyone could hear them, including children inside the shop.

Ashley kept calling Jay afterwards and he didn't answer. Ashley said it was because he was "caught."

"Jay was never going to tell me this happened. He hasn't been honest with me from Day 1. I am angry, I'm hurt and I'm mostly disgusted. If he would do that, what the hell would he not do?" Ashley vented to the cameras.

Jay then answered the phone and admitted to Ashley everything she had heard "happened".

"It was this one girl that came to the shop and I was doing a tattoo on her, and she said she wanted to f-ck my d-ck, and I'm sorry. It just happened," Jay said.

Ashley told Jay their relationship was over and he wasn't allowed to do anything at her house other than grab his clothes to leave.

"You are a disgusting pig. You are f-cking gross," Ashley said. "[Your clothes] will be on the front porch for you, you dumbass."

Ashley said Jay had spent months trying to convince her that she was crazy for thinking he'd ever cheat on her. She was angry, upset, disappointed and more.

Ashley then told the cameras she had never filed for Jay's adjustment of status and so he'd surely be deported back to Jamaica.

"He can rot in jail until he's deported. I don't give a f-ck. I don't want him here. I don't even want him in this country. He's here illegally and needs to go back to Jamaica," Ashley vented to the cameras.

When Ashley returned home to pack up Jay's things with her friend, Ashley revealed Jay had insisted he just received a bl-wj-b from the woman at the barber shop. Ashley was astounded because Jay actually took her to a cookout one time with this girl there.

Ashley then spoke to the woman in question on the phone, and the woman apologized, saying she had no idea Jay was with her at the time of their sexual encounter.

The woman also accused Jay of touching and caressing her when she got her tattoo, which caused one thing to lead to another.

"We went into the bathroom and had sex," the woman said. "We pretty much did anything you could think of."

Ashley said talking to the girl didn't help the situation for Jay and she just wanted to punch the both of them in the face. Ashley felt totally betrayed.

Ashley cried to her friend, saying everything she had given him wasn't good enough. She was heartbroken not only for herself but for her children.

"Now it's just like, what has he been up to this whole time? I think Jay wanted to get married for a Green Card. There's no other reason. Obviously he wasn't happy with me or he wasn't attracted to me... He was using me, and he f-cking got away with it for a long time," Ashley said in a confessional.

CHANTEL and PEDRO

Chantel and Pedro spent the night apart, and Chantel found herself wondering whether she even had a reason to stay longer in the Dominican Republic.

The morning after their fight, Pedro went to check on Chantel because he loved her and cared about her. He felt "embarrassed" but running away doesn't solve problems.

Pedro just wanted Chantel to fix her issues with his sister, Nicole, but she explained she had been thrown into a hostile environment.

Pedro noted he felt stuck in the middle of Chantel and his loved ones, but then Chantel noted she felt the same exact way in Atlanta, GA. They clearly both wanted the same thing -- each other's support.

Chantel asked Pedro to work on their relationship and have a good time together, away from the drama.

Chantel asked to go to the beach or something and spend a few days alone, but Pedro desired to spend more time with his family, which is the reason why he had traveled to the Dominican Republic to begin with.

Later that day, Chantel met up with her friend Obed, a family friend of Pedro's whom she had met when she first came to the Dominican Republic. The last time she spoke with him, Obed insisted he didn't trust Pedro's sister and mother, and so Chantel thought he had some information for her.

Chantel and Obed had lunch together while Pedro was supposedly spending time with his family.

"I know how bad they are, and she needs to know what she's gotten herself into with Pedro and his family," Obed told the cameras.

Obed then shared with Chantel, "If you came here to fix your marriage. You should know the whole history. I feel that it was a setup; they arranged Pedro to meet you and for you to fall in love with him."

"Who?" Chantel asked.

"His family," Obed noted. "I heard they were finding an American for him to marry... Any American. I don't think [Pedro] knew about it."

A mutual friend had introduced Chantel and Pedro online when she was looking to learn Spanish. Once she got to know Pedro, she traveled alone to see him -- but the mutual friend had asked Chantel to visit with some of her girlfriends.

"Now I'm wondering if he just wanted Pedro to have more options to choose from," Chantel said in a confessional.

Obed said Pedro's family wanted Pedro to move to the United States and get a better life. Obed claimed Pedro's mother and sister wanted Pedro to be able to help them out with their business as well.

Pedro's mother had previously been accused by Chantel's mother of running an operation in which she helped women from the Dominican Republic find American men for money -- a venture Pedro had denied.

Obed said people searching for partners in America was common because he couldn't blame people in the Dominican Republic for wanting a better life.

Chantel was upset because she thought her relationship with Pedro had been a fairy tale. Pedro also apparently reassured Chantel constantly that he loved her.

"The reason I feel like his family doesn't like you is because you guys fell in love for real," Obed said.

"So you think Pedro was only a means for them to move up in the social status here?" Chantel asked. "And that he fell in love with me, and because I'm the woman in his life now, they're jealous of me or something?"

"Yeah," Obed said.

Chantel wanted to believe she and Pedro genuinely fell in love despite the "conniving, evil, malicious" beginnings of everything.

Red flags went up in Chantel's mind because Pedro did send money home to his family on a tight schedule every single month.

Chantel wondered if Nicole was trying to break up her relationship with Pedro, but Obed thought Pedro was going to get rid of Chantel now that he has obtained a Green Card.

Chantel had a hard time believing Pedro was tricked into marrying her. Regardless, Chantel's marriage felt "fake" in that moment and she didn't know what to do.

Chantel needed to talk things through with Pedro, and she wasn't sure where this conversation was going to leave them.

ELIZABETH and ANDREI

Andrei's father was arriving from Moldova that night, and both Elizabeth and Andrei were so excited. Andrei's father planned to stay for two months, so Elizabeth knew she needed to learn Romanian so she could communicate better.

Things between Andrei and Elizabeth's family was still tense, and Elizabeth knew Andrei told his father everything and they're extremely close, so Elizabeth was a bit concerned about Andrei's father meeting her own family.

Andrei, however, was just happy his father was going to be around when the baby was born.

Later that day, Andrei revealed to Elizabeth his father's flight had been canceled. Due to weather conditions, he got stuck in Istanbul and missed his flight to New York. Because of the delay, his father was going to miss his connection into Tampa, FL.

Andrei was worried about his dad being alone because he had never traveled such long distance before. Andrei therefore said he wanted to fly to JFK airport to make sure his dad was okay and comfortable.

"I will do everything in my power to have my dad here," Andrei noted.

The couple didn't have money to buy a plane ticket, so Elizabeth offered to ask her father to put the trip on his credit card. Andrei, however, no longer wanted to lean on Elizabeth's father, Chuck, for support.

Andrei was stressed out and wanted to get to New York, so he found a flight for just about $600, which Elizabeth argued they couldn't afford.

Andrei called it an "emergency" and booked the flight, but Elizabeth was upset because $600 was half of one month's rent.

Andrei ignored Elizabeth and told her to go pack his bag for the flight.

"You're being an assh-le," Elizabeth told her husband.

After their fight, Elizabeth accompanied Andrei to the airport. It was a financial burden for them, but Andrei felt taking care of his father was necessary.

Elizabeth was worried she could go into labor with Andrei gone. She didn't feel spending $600 for Andrei to be with his father for 15 hours made sense, but she chose to be supportive anyway.

Once at the airport in New York, Andrei met up with his father and was happy to take care of him and guide him to Florida. Andrei's father had been through a lot and they were both tired and stressed.

Andrei's father, Stefan, said visiting America was a dream, and both guys were excited.

Elizabeth and Andrei were then shown taking Stefan out for a nice American lunch consisting of burgers and fries. Andrei opened up about his ups and downs with Elizabeth's family during the lunch, but she didn't appreciate the negativity.

RUSS and PAOLA

Paola started getting contractions and so Paola's midwife, Colleen, came over to their house to assist with Paola's natural birth.

Russ was concerned Paola wouldn't be able to handle the pain and would want to rush to the hospital, and her mother Gladys also didn't agree with going through a home birth. But Russ and Gladys feared complications.

Russ chose to trust the midwife and hoped things would continue to go smoothly.

Paola went back and forth between the bedroom and the inflated pool in her living room. She wasn't sure she was going to be able to make it because of the pain she was experiencing.

At one point, the midwife had to try to reposition the baby so he would be delivered head first.

Paola was then shown pushing the baby out on-camera. She was telling her son how much she loved him and then Russ helped to pull the newborn out!

"Oh my God, get it out!" Paola yelled and cried.

Russ then held the baby and immediately put him into Paola's arms. She repeated, "We did it!"

Paola was thrilled to be a mom, so much so that she almost couldn't believe it. She planned to protect her son, and Russ was overcome with emotion as well.

"I have a whole new world in front of me, and this is happening. This is really happening! It's overwhelming and it's something really special," Russ told the cameras.

Baby Axel was born on New Year's Day and weighed seven pounds and five ounces. He measured 22 inches long.

The couple was then shown navigating parenthood together, and they were already bickering about little things, such as how to hold their baby.

Russ said Paola needed to trust him because neither parent had much experience with newborns. Russ knew they were going to figure this out together.

"This is a challenge. We have so much to work on now that we have a baby," Paola said, adding that she hoped Axel would strengthen her relationship with Russ.
