The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? couples who previously starred on the spinoff's sixth season are Elizabeth and Andrei, Angela and Michael, and Yara and Jovi.
Jenny and Sumit previously appeared on all three seasons of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, which follows American citizens moving to foreign countries for the sake of love.
In a departure from 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s original premise -- which was continuing to follow the lives of couples who married after the American resident's foreign partner came to the United States on a K-1 visa -- Usman and Kim are not married, and neither are Ed and Liz (nor is Liz even a foreigner).
Jenny and Sumit are in fact married, but their wedding or ceremony never aired on TLC. In addition, the couple are also not living in America but in India, Sumit's home country.
Kim and Usman appeared on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days and the season showed Kim traveling overseas to meet Usman in person for the first time. Usman also previously appeared on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days with his prior American partner Lisa Hamme, whom he married in the show's season finale.
Ed and Liz previously appeared on Seasons 1 and 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life on discovery+.
"As these couples navigate the next chapter of their relationships, they'll be put to the test on everything from emotional affairs to disapproving family to immigration issues. With these couples kissing the honeymoon stage goodbye, are they headed toward happily ever after or happily never after?" TLC teased of the new Happily Ever After? season.
Below is what happened on Episode 6 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s seventh season.
ANGELA and MICHAEL
Michael, who is scared of water and almost drowned once, was shown learning how to swim at a pool with a couple of his friends. He said he missed his wife, Angela, a lot and didn't care what his friends thought about the couple's age difference, although they often teased him about having married "a grandma."RELATED LINK: '90 DAY FIANCE' COUPLES NOW
Michael explained how he and Angela were fighting a lot because Angela always needed to be in control of everything and she had stopped sending him money that he needed to live and thrive.
Michael said Angela didn't want him to work because she didn't trust him, nor did she want him hanging around his "bad influence" friends, but Michael said he wanted independence and a life of his own.
Michael thought he could become a social media influencer and make money, and so he refused to take his account down in response to Angela's demands. Michael thought he was building an audience already, but Angela didn't like Michael on Instagram because it afforded him the chance to flirt with women.
"And that's why we have a problem," Michael noted.
"I still love my wife and I want to keep my marriage going, but it's important to make my opinion count in the marriage and [for Angela] to listen to me. At this point, there's a high probability our relationship will not survive."

Michael wanted his wife to "compromise," adding, "because I'm the husband [and] I need to have a say in this marriage."
Angela then arrived in Nigeria with her friend Renee. It had been two years since Angela last saw Michael, who didn't know his wife was on her way. Angela hoped to catch Michael off-guard in order to discover the truth about him, because a part of her thought he was scamming her.

"Usually I'd give him hugs and kisses, but this could be the end of our marriage if Michael doesn't clean up his act. This is not how I planned my future with Michael," Angela shared.
Angela apparently gave Michael another chance to take down his Instagram and he responded with "Lol" and a laughing emoticon. Angela felt angry and humiliated, saying it's horrible for a husband to laugh at his wife's pain.
Fearing that Michael was scamming her, Angela grabbed her marriage certificate to potentially show authorities that she owned everything Michael owned.
Angela then called Michael late at night and asked him to stay awake because he was about to receive the surprise of his life.
Angela showed up at Michael's house and knocked on his door. She shouted, "That's my car," pointing to Michael's car in the driveway.
Michael apparently refused to come outside, and so Angela started crying and totally lost her cool.
When Michael didn't come outside, Angela started taking his car apart -- and she threatened to break the windows.
ELIZABETH and ANDREI
Elizabeth and Andrei chose not to attend Elizabeth's mother Pamela's birthday party since her brother Charlie, whom they accused of being an alcoholic, was going to be there. The couple therefore brought their daughter Eleanor and Andrei's father to an aquarium instead.Elizabeth was upset she couldn't support and celebrate with her mother, but she thought she was making the right decision. Elizabeth said she couldn't just patch things up with her loud, crazy family and move on.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth's sisters Jenn and Becky put aside their differences with Charlie to celebrate Pam's birthday, which was a big outdoor dinner at Chuck's house, and Pam seemed very grateful to have most of her children together.
The family thought Andrei was making Elizabeth skip the event, much to her mother's dismay, but even Jenn and Becky were entirely comfortable at the gathering with Charlie and his wife Megan.
Charlie told his sisters how they were focusing on a few bad times rather than a million good times they had together, and he said Andrei had no right to get in his face at family functions, especially in front of Chuck.

Charlie called Andrei "the common denominator" of his family's problems, saying Andrei attempted to turn Elizabeth against her siblings. Becky said Andrei was "100 percent" a master manipulator and they weren't necessarily okay with him either.
Charlie hoped his sisters would realize Andrei was the problem, but he figured Jenn and Becky were afraid to be "canceled" by Andrei and lose their sister as a result.
ED and LIZ
Ed and Liz's engagement party was a couple of days away, but many of their relatives and loved ones were skeptical about their relationship.Liz had been divorced twice, but her second husband had never met Liz's beloved grandparents. Liz therefore said it was a big deal to introduce Ed to her grandparents, Richard and Lavina, and she wanted them to know that she was happy.
Liz's grandparents were shocked that Liz was engaged again, especially because they were protective of her and wanted what's best for her.
Ed insisted he wasn't marrying Liz because she made him feel young, and he noted how he was "really, really" in love with Liz and couldn't live without her. Liz's grandparents clearly didn't want her to get hurt again, and Ed felt pressure not to fail his fiancee.
The group had a good time fishing, but Liz's grandfather made a lot of short jokes at Ed's expense.
After fishing, Liz assured her grandparents that she was happy, but Richard and Lavina wanted the pair to push back their wedding just so they could get to know each other a little bit more, and for a longer period of time.
Lavina said the world was against her getting married to Richard but they also made it.
Richard and Lavina were a bit worried about the age difference, and Lavina asked Liz if she was ready to take care of Ed given he'd need her help and support much sooner than she would need his.

Ed was almost 30 years older, and Liz said she just couldn't bare the idea of Ed being taken away from her.
Lavina wanted Liz to forget about the world and just think about Ed and vice versa, and Liz said she trusted Ed had made necessary changes and hopefully wouldn't break her heart again.
"I'm really nervous about my third marriage ending up in a divorce," Liz shared.
"I do worry about the one day after getting married where we get into an argument because of insecurity and Ed will want to take a break. But if Ed takes a break, I'll never get back together with him again."
JOVI and YARA
Jovi and Yara were shown driving to Yara's green card interview, which they had been waiting for well over two years by that point. Jovi was afraid to fail the interview or forget an important, necessary document.Jovi, however, couldn't even find the couple's marriage certificate.
Yara seemed nervous about the interview, but she was more concerned with the war in Ukraine and how her family and friends were doing after Russia invaded her home country.

Yara cried about how she missed her country, and she said if she failed her interview, she would be deported. However, Yara didn't know where the U.S. would send her since Ukraine wasn't a safe place to return to and refugees were fleeing Ukraine every day.
Following the interview, Jovi and Yara announced Yara's green card had been approved. It was the couple's daughter Mylah's birth certificate that seemed to hurry the interview along.
Because of the delay in processing that it took, Jovi and Yara were at two years and two weeks, and so when the officer looked up their information, he decided to grant Yara a 10-year card.

Yara was pleased about her green-card approval, but she was hell bent on visiting her mother in Prague. She could barely even celebrate because she was so upset about her family in Ukraine.
Jovi and Yara then celebrated with a few of Yara's girlfriends at a bar, and the girls were annoyed Yara had brought her husband with her. The girls appeared to think Jovi was a little controlling and couldn't leave his wife alone.
When Yara went to the bathroom, Jovi asked Yara's friends for their support because he recognized they had influence over her and Yara respected their opinion.
Jovi didn't want his wife to make an irrational decision that would affect his family, but the girls thought Jovi had trust issues -- and it didn't seem like they were going to rush to his defense.
"This is about me making sure that she's safe when she goes there," Jovi said, referencing how he needed to work for three weeks but wanted to accompany Yara to Europe after that.
The girls wondered if Jovi's "true motive" was keeping his wife safe, and Jovi kept insisted he wanted to protect his family.
BILAL and SHAEEDA
Shaeeda was shown Zoom chatting with her best friend Eutris, whom she had met back in Trinidad. Shaeeda said Eutris wanted to see her settle down and have a baby after a few failed relationships.Eutris planned to visit America in April, and Shaeeda said she would love to see her.
Shaeeda then opened up about how Bilal wasn't ready to have children yet and they wrote how they'd wait three years, when Shaeeda turns 40, to have kids in their prenuptial agreement.
Shaeeda called it "a ticklish situation," especially since she was getting older and worried she wouldn't have much time left to have baby.
"If he violates the contract, I'm going to take him to court. I wanted a traditional marriage. He decided to get all contractual on me, so this is the price of contracts -- you pay," Shaeeda said in a confessional.

Shaeeda wanted to give Bilal the benefit of the doubt that he wanted to have kids, at least at some point, and she seemed to understand how he wanted to enjoy life as a married couple and really get to know each other first.
Eutris, however, appeared concerned, and she recalled how one of her friends had wanted a child with her partner and he kept putting it off until finally ghosting her.
"Now I'm wondering if he even wants children at all. I don't want to take a chance on Bilal not wanting kids. I'll waste the best years of my life. I need answers now, and I want to go to a doctor in order to prepare for the future," Shaeeda explained.
Shaeeda also feared a high-risk pregnancy and that it would be too late for her at age 40.
Shaeeda and Bilal met with a doctor in search of some answers, and Shaeeda learned she was already at advanced maternal age. Shaeeda confirmed she had never been pregnant before and that her menstrual cycle was happening every 21 days, which concerned the doctor a bit given a typical cycle is 28-30 days.
Shaeeda was told that if she was ovulating, she had a short window to get pregnant. If an egg wasn't there, it couldn't be fertilized, and so the doctor suggested doing some tests.
Shaeeda said it was "super frustrating" Bilal wanted to keep delaying trying for a baby, even after hearing the doctor say the couple may have trouble getting pregnant.
"We have to deal with it, not run from it," Shaeeda said.
KIM and USMAN
Kim and Usman were shown celebrating Usman's birthday at a club called Bleu, and Usman said if Kim didn't behave, he would cancel their trip to meet his mother.Kim said she's usually the life of the party, and she even apologized to Usman's friend KB for her previous outburst when the group had discussed Usman having two wives.
Usman's female friend named Ali, who handles public relations for the rapper's music, then showed up at the party, and Kim immediately became jealous because she was really pretty. Kim didn't want to come across as a jealous woman, but she said she was mainly just jealous about the woman's young age.

Kim and Ali actually got along quite well, and the group popped champagne and had a good time.
Usman felt great about the evening and decided that he was ready for Kim to meet his family.
The couple had an awesome time at the club, and Usman confirmed there was "boom, boom, boom" that night once they returned to the hotel, which is why he thought Kim was smiling the next morning.
Kim wanted to talk about the second wife again, and she really wanted him to hear her out this time. Kim had a list of questions to ask, including whether she needed to interact with Usman's kids and be in their lives.
Usman said he'd like for Kim to see his children, just like she would want him to be in her son Jamal's life.
Kim explained that Usman's second wife must be from his region and not from the United States, but that bothered Usman, who'd like to wed another woman in America.
Usman told Kim that women all over the world wanted him and dating her at her age was a compromise and sacrifice, but Kim didn't think he was doing her any favors by loving her.
"Usman acts like he's the prize to be won, and he doesn't understand the sacrifices that I have made in this relationship. And if Usman doesn't understand that, then I don't think this relationship is going to work," Kim said in a confessional, wiping tears from her eyes.
