90 Day Fiance: The Other Way follows American citizens moving to or living in foreign countries for the sake of love and their future spouses and experiencing culture shock.

Below is what happened on Episode 3 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's fourth season.

KRIS and JEYMI

Kris was flying to Bogota, Colombia to meet Jeymi for the first time after a year of getting to know each other, and Jeymi said she was also nervous to meet her future wife.

When they met at the airport, they ran to each other, kissed and embraced. Kris said it didn't seem real and felt like a dream to see the love of her life. Kris said Jeymi was shorter in person but looked so beautiful, and Jeymi said Kris was "perfect," everything she had been imagining.

Kris worried and "terrified" about what could go wrong, especially since she struggles with Narcolepsy and was in a brand new country, but she was also excited at the same time.

Jeymi gushed about how Kris was everything she wanted and they were hopefully going to be happy together forever.

Once the couple arrived at Jeymi's apartment, Kris noticed it was very small. She had been hoping for an American kitchen, but Jeymi apparently signed a lease on this apartment, which was also $100 more than Kris had been hoping to spend.

Jeymi surprised Kris with a room full of balloons, and it turns out Kris liked the apartment and thought the kitchen was plenty big for her cooking. Jeymi said the apartment finally felt like a home once her fiancee was in it with her.

Kris reminded Jeymi how she has night terrors and sometimes hallucinates in the night due to Narcolepsy, which may result in her kicking Jeymi in her sleep. Jeymi said she was ready for whatever was to come.

The couple then dressed in lingerie and got into bed together, and Kris confessed she was nervous before Jeymi kicked the cameras out.

JEN and RISHI

Jen brought out her mother's wedding dress from 1971, but she wasn't sure if she was going to wear it. Jen figured she and Rishi would have a traditional Indian ceremony.

Kris' friends thought her relationship was terrible and not a good idea, especially after Rishi had answered her friend Randy on social media and slightly expressed interest in getting to know her.

Jen's family also thought she was making a big mistake and would be on her own if things went poorly, but Jen said she wasn't going to dwell on the negative and was heading into this experience "cautiously optimistic."

Jen shared with her loved ones on the way to the airport how she was in love with Rishi but recognized a relationship takes work and that she and Rishi may do something that bothered each other.

Jen also feared an attraction would be missing or Rishi would turn out to be someone different than she had thought or expected.

"I'm not in denial. I have no idea what I'm getting myself into... but I have to take this risk. I have to do it. I'm just going to go for it... I had resolved that I was going to be single for the rest of my life, [so] this is my last chance for love. This is it," Jen told the cameras.

Once Jen touched down in India, she stayed in a hotel for the night to catch up on some rest. She still had hours by car to get to Rishi, who lived six hours away from Delhi.

Rishi was very excited about Jen's arrival, but his family didn't know the truth about their relationship, that he was already engaged to an American woman and they had a 15-year age difference. Rishi's parents wanted to see Rishi married, and they had even found him a potential spouse, an Indian woman for an arranged marriage.

Rishi didn't plan on sharing this information with Jen to avoid an emotional outburst. Rishi said if he could marry Jen, he wouldn't want or need to marry another girl.

ISABEL and GABRIEL

Gabriel, whom Isabel called "Gabe," was moving to Colombia in a few days, and so Isabel said she was feeling nervous and anxious about the idea of her man living with her permanently. She was then shown having cocktails with her friends Samuel, who had introduced Isabel to Gabe, and Matteo.

Samuel was apparently also shocked to discover that Gabe was trans. Isabel shared how Game was "perfect" clinically in that he could get aroused and feel sensation in private parts. Isabel, however, still had questions such as whether his orgasm is the same as other men and if he's able to produce sperm.

Isabel was worried her family wouldn't accept Gabriel once they found out he was born a woman. She didn't want to have to choose between the love of her life and her family, but she had no idea how they were going to take it.

Meanwhile, Gabe said he really wanted to marry Isabel and so he hoped her family would approve of him. Gabe's relationship with his ex-girlfriend apparently didn't work out because her loved ones weren't able to accept him, and so he didn't want that to happen again.

Gabe's beloved sister then dropped him off at the airport, and he was going to arrive in Colombia in about four hours. Gabe admitted it was going to be difficult to not have his family close by, but he was going to follow his heart.

"I believe in my heart and soul Isabel is worth the risk that I'm taking," Gabe noted.

NICOLE and MAHMOUD

Nicole was shown packing up her place with the help of her parents, Harold and Wanda. Harold admitted he had concerns because he knew very little about Egypt and he couldn't get to her if she ever needed help. Given Nicole is his little girl, he said he always worried about her.

Nicole revealed she and Mahmoud wouldn't mind getting married the American way because they had an Islamic ceremony before and it didn't feel like a real wedding to her.

The pair married at the Justice Department, but then his uncle said they wouldn't be able to spend the night together if he didn't get married through the Islamic way.

The couple therefore had to wed that night, again, and Nicole recalled them crashing someone else's wedding, which was "weird." They sat at someone else's table with boxes of cake and then they were married.

Nicole then shared with her parents how she converted to Islam two days before marrying Mahmoud. Nicole had converted because she wants to raise her future children in the same faith and, once she learned about Islam, she thought their devotion was really beautiful.

Nicole said she also appreciated how Mahmoud loved his religion so much, which made her wonder if she was missing something in her life.

Nicole believed there is only one God and that Muhammad is his Prophet, but she quickly learned there's a lot more to being Muslim than just saying the Shahada.

Nicole started finding out the rules, such as doing five prayers and five washes every single day, and she realized being pious was going to be very difficult.

"Every moment of your life is being Muslim. I'm definitely suffering the consequences of that decision. I don't follow the dietary restrictions and I don't cover my hair anymore. I don't think I need to do all those things to have a great relationship with God," Nicole explained.

Nicole said she and Mahmoud had spoken in "bits and pieces" about his religion before but he assumed she'd eventually come to her senses. Nicole, however, said she'd never put on a hijab ever again.

Nicole's parents didn't think Mahmoud would be able to tell Nicole what to do because she apparently never even listened to them. Harold said he couldn't even tell Nicole what to wear or not wear growing up. Harold therefore acknowledged Nicole and Mahmoud's marriage was going to be a challenge in Egypt.

"I need to be face to face and really talk with him about this, because he's going to be hurt by my doubts and concerns. I'm not trying to disrespect him; I'm just trying to be true to myself. I am willing to make sacrifices... but I know I can't change who I am to be with him, and I hope he can understand this," Nicole said.

Mahmoud then gushed about how Nicole is strong and sweet and he loved her so much. Mahmoud thought God had brought Nicole to him, but he pointed out how they came from totally different worlds.

Mahmoud said they had the "worst fight" once they started talking about the clothes she must wear to make him happy, and so he never thought she'd return to Egypt again. He said their split was "so hard" on him because he couldn't stop loving her or move on from their relationship.

Mahmoud's older brothers called Nicole's husband "a spoiled sweetheart" and said Mahmoud had not approached his relationship with Nicole with any expertise or experience. They thought he rushed things.

Mahmoud's brothers advised him to educate Nicole so that she could see the benefits of being Muslim, and they told Mahmoud that Nicole would eventually adapt, gradually, but that Mahmoud must be patient with his wife.

Nicole said this was the second time she was giving up everything for Mahmoud but she thought he was worth it. She hoped they could deal with their differences and communicate properly in order to overcome their problems.

Nicole's parents then dropped her off at the airport, and she couldn't wait to be reunited with her love.

"I just hope this isn't a huge mistake," Nicole lamented to the cameras.

Once the pair reunited in Egypt, they began bickering almost immediately. Mahmoud made a joke about Nicole going in and out of Egypt, and he made a comment about how Nicole's jacket wasn't covering every part of the upper half of her body.

Nicole worried moving to be with Mahmoud was going to be a mistake.

DEBBIE and OUSSAMA

Debbie, 67, described herself as "eccentric" and "quirky," and she apparently beats to the music of her own drummer. She showed off the little art gallery in her home filled with crystals and more.

Debbie sells semi-precious jewelry and said she loves painting, which never lets her down.

Growing up, Debbie's mother had significant mental health issues and so she never knew any normalcy or structure. She also wasn't sure what a healthy relationship should look like as an adult.

"I was very, very naive -- and so I was very trusting. I've been married twice. I was married to my first husband for four years and we had a son named Julian. My husband was basically a womanizer and he drank a lot, so I left and never looked back," Debbie explained.

Debbie met her second husband shortly afterward, and they got married rather quickly once she got pregnant with her daughter Sandy. She was married to Sandy's father for 23 years and then the relationship started going "south."

Sandy hired a private detective to follow her second husband when he was allegedly traveling for work, and Debbie was shown photos of this man with another woman in another country.

Debbie said it was a "gut-wrenching time" in her life, so much so that she lost herself for a while.

Sandy said she sat behind closed doors for 12 years and swore off men until she met Oussama, an artist and poet from Morocco.

The pair met on social media when Oussama commented on Sandy's fine art work, and then they began exchanging messages and Sandy said he took root in her heart like a tree.

After about six months of talking online, Debbie got on a plane to meet Oussama in Morocco. She knew he was younger, but she didn't know how much younger until they met in person.

"He made me see that it wasn't about the age and the circumstances; it's about a deeper level of connectivity and us being a team. He's 24-years-old, but I love him!" Debbie gushed to the cameras.

Debbie had been dating Oussama for several years, but she only flew to Morocco twice.

"After years of communicating, Oussama said, 'Debbie, come to Morocco and be my wife!' So now I'm fixing to move to Morocco in two weeks!" Debbie shared.

Debbie's son Julian, a police officer and lieutenant, thought Debbie was going to get "used and abused" in Morocco. Julian thought this relationship was a joke, and it raised major red flags for him.

Debbie insisted she wouldn't do anything crazy, such as adding Oussama to her bank account, but Julian said it still seemed like Oussama was scamming her.

While Oussama hadn't asked Debbie for money yet, Julian believed it was going to happen once she moved to his country.

Debbie claimed she hated the fact Oussama is young and wished he was a grandpa -- but there was nothing she could do about that.

"Before you get married, I'm going to find out what's really going on. Because I know he's not doing it for love," Julian told his mother.

DANIELE and YOHAN

Daniele had some concerns about Yohan's business, primarily how his raw meat was kept in his butcher shop out on the counter, unrefrigerated.

Daniele said it was impossible to keep a poker face once she saw how he was running things in the Dominican Republic, but she felt bad for being mean to him.

"But I'm still worried about his finances," Daniele acknowledged, adding how his business was costing him money instead of making it.

Daniele suggested Yohan should get out of that business and close the butcher shop's doors, but Yohan believed it would grow in time. Yohan also said he wanted something for himself and to be his own boss.

Daniele wanted Yohan to be more realistic about their future, and she also didn't want to serve as an open bank account for her man.

"If he's still losing money nine months from now, we're going to have to close this business," Daniele explained in a confessional.

Daniele and Yohan then went looking at apartments so that she'd have a place to move into in a few months. She wanted a two-bedroom and two-bathroom place with a washer and dryer, air conditioning, parking, a dishwasher, a pool and a terrace.

Daniele liked an apartment that was going to cost $2,000 a month, and Daniele asked if he could help her with the rent.

Yohan said he could give her $90 a month, and she called him "crazy" because that money would barely buy her breakfast.

Yohan promised to help Daniele in any way he could, and so she asked if he'd be willing to cook and clean their apartment every day. She said she needed him to help with chores while she worked from home.

"If I pay for everything, you need to do more things," Daniele explained. "You're my wife."

"Here, the man works, the woman works, the woman does the housework," Yohan said.

"And what does the man do?" Daniele asked in frustration.

Daniele said while she could bank roll their future forever, she didn't want to. Daniele didn't want a man to be dependant on her and need her to support him for the rest of his life.

Daniele didn't want to become resentful of her husband over time.

If Yohan couldn't meet Daniele halfway, she didn't think their relationship was going to survive.
