90 Day Fiance: The Other Way featured Corey Rathgeber "freaking out" over his new living conditions in Ecuador, Deavan and Jihoon reuniting in Las Vegas, and Paul Staehle receiving a rejection letter for permanent residency in Brazil during Monday night's broadcast on TLC.

Instead of following Americans and their foreign partners dating in the United States and attempting to marry within 90 days like the original 90 Day Fiance series, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way follows American citizens moving across the globe and living in foreign countries for the sake of love.

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's Americans will also have to wed within 90 days in order to stay in their new countries. Paul and Karine Martins, however, were already married at the time of filming.

In addition to Paul and Karine, the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way broadcast also featured Corey, a 31-year-old from Mill A, WA, and girlfriend Evelin Villegas, a 26-year-old from Engabao, Ecuador; Deavan, a 22-year-old from Salt Lake City, UT, and boyfriend Jihoon, a 29-year-old from South Korea; and Laura, a 51-year-old from Eustis, FL, and Aladin, a 29-year-old from Qatar.

The following two couples did not make an appearance in the latest episode: Jenny Slatten, a 60-year-old from Palm Springs, CA, and her boyfriend Sumit, a 30-year-old from New Delhi, India, as well as Tiffany Franco, a 27-year-old from Frederick, MD, and fiance Ronald Smith, a 29-year-old from South Africa.

After arriving in their new countries, the six American cast members will be shown racing a ticking clock and experiencing major culture shocks and challenges -- including winning over their soon-to-be foreign in-laws and trying to plan a wedding.

"Will uprooting their lives in the United States pay off or be the biggest mistake ever?" TLC teases.

Below is the latest on each 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple based on Monday night's episode on TLC.

COREY and EVELIN

Corey had 90 days to propose and get married or else he'd have to return to the United States. Corey couldn't believe he had given everything up to move to Ecuador and Evelin couldn't even meet him and pick him up from the airport.

Corey was afraid to get robbed, as he had an engagement ring on him as well as a laptop and television in his bags. But he ended up getting on a bus that left him an hour from Engabao.

Corey took three planes and two buses to see Evelin, and he couldn't believe she would put him in this situation. He admitted that if Evelin wasn't at least waiting for him at the bus stop, he'd be pissed!

Meanwhile, Evelin was feeling mixed emotions about Corey's arrival because she appreciated her space but also missed waking up next to Corey every morning.

Evelin was then shown telling her family members she didn't pick Corey up from the airport because he needed to do and figure things out for himself. Evelin didn't think it would be good for Corey to rely on her for everything during his time in Ecuador.

Evelin's parents said Corey was showing great love by moving to a foreign country, but Evelin was apparently afraid Corey was going to propose -- because she apparently didn't want to get married.

"In order for him to convince me to marry him, I want to see him doing things [on] his own when he is in Ecuador," Evelin said in a confessional.

"I am expecting him to learn how to speak Spanish, and he also needs to connect with my family better. If Corey doesn't prove himself in the next 90 days, then it's not going to work out."

When Corey finally arrived in his new hometown of Engabao, Evelin was thankfully waiting for him at the bus stop. Corey was so glad to see his girlfriend, and she said he looked "yummy."

Corey vented about how he was exhausted from traveling, but Evelin told Corey that she would make it up to him and he's the best.

Evelin then shocked Corey by revealing they must stay with her grandmother, Astenia, because the roof of her apartment was being fixed. She also warned Corey they must walk all the way there, 20 minutes, dragging his luggage behind them.

"I'm definitely not in the U.S. anymore. This is definitely a different world. There are pigs everywhere and stray dogs in the streets. It scares me that this is where I'm going to be living for the rest of my life," Corey said in a confessional.

Evelin was glad Corey was proving his love for her and wanted to share his life with her. She hoped she could be a good girlfriend for him in return.

But there were no doors or windows to Astenia's home, and there was access to bugs everywhere. Corey was shocked by their living quarters and acknowledged it was a totally different way of life.

Evelin thought Corey was acting rude by complaining about the mosquitos, but Evelin insisted he wouldn't get malaria and he'd be fine. There was no mosquito repellent or even a mosquito net, and Corey soon found out there was no outlet to plug in any of his electrical devices.

"I'm really freaking out that this is my new reality, but I have to make sure I'm not complaining to Evelin and making her upset, because I only have 90 days to get married. So I just need to suck it up if I'm going to have any chance of being with Evelin permanently," Corey explained in a confessional.

DEAVAN and JIHOON

Jihoon's parents from South Korea were arriving in Las Vegas for a one-week stay to determine whether Deavan was going to be good enough for their son. Deavan needed a blessing from Jihoon's parents to marry Jihoon.

"In Korean culture, having a baby out of wedlock can bring dishonor to Korean culture. And if we're not able to get married, I can't obtain a spousal visa. Therefore, I couldn't live in Korea," Deavan explained to the cameras.

Deavan admitted things didn't go well when she had met Jihoon's parents in Korea, but she was hoping this time would be different and she could make a better impression.

Deavan also worried Drascilla's first impression was going to be bad because she's got "a bit of a wild side." Deavan hoped Drascilla would behave and be a good girl.

Once Deavan arrived at the airport, she struggled to find Jihoon's parents, who had apparently landed 45 minutes earlier. Deavan had trouble taking care of a baby while pregnant, and she became overwhelmed and started crying.

It had been three months since she last saw Jihoon, so Deavan was experiencing a wide range of emotions. Deavan worried she had messed everything up already, and she wasn't sure how she was going to fix it.

Deavan and Jihoon were still getting to know each other better since they had only spent less than four weeks together in person. And during that period of time, Deavan got pregnant.

Although Deavan lived in Utah, she rented a house in Las Vegas for them to stay. She figured Las Vegas would be the place to show Jihoon's parents a good time.

Jihoon's parents thought the house looked like "a castle," so they were clearly impressed, and Jihoon agreed the place was awesome because his place in Korea was very small in comparison.

Deavan didn't want Drascilla to run around screaming in fear Jihoon's parents would think she's a bad mom. And that night, Jihoon got a surprise when he learned Drascilla slept in Deavan's bed every single night.

"I slept with my parents until I was seven," Deavan revealed.

Jihoon was disappointed because he was expecting to have some alone, sexy time with Deavan, but Deavan explained they could just go in another room to do that.

"Okay, I'm good," Jihoon noted.

PAUL and KARINE

It had been 48 hours since Paul arrived in Brazil, but he didn't receive the homecoming he was apparently hoping for. Karine, for example, was upset he didn't pack more baby supplies.

Since Paul didn't have a job, he admitted every single penny was precious to them. Karine told Paul that he needed to work because a baby is expensive.

Paul wasn't sure whether he would be granted residency in Brazil due to his criminal record, and if he ended up being denied for any reason, he wouldn't be able to obtain a work permit.

Karine just hoped Paul would be able to find a job and support his family.

But Paul later discovered his application for permanent residency had been denied. In a letter Paul had received, he was accused of committing a crime of terrorism, genocide, a crime against humanity, and war crimes.

Paul insisted he was not guilty of any such crimes, and he couldn't believe it. He was apparently only given 10 days to stay in Brazil.

"Karine is going to be heartbroken. She's going to be just shocked. I only have 10 days to deal with this and then I need to leave the country," Paul said in a confessional.

"I don't want to cause unnecessary drama and then cause her stress and cause problems with the baby. I don't know what to do at this point. I really don't."

Paul then took off running and swearing from the film crew.

LAURA and ALADIN

Aladin admitted he's had a lot of girlfriends in the past but then he met Laura on social media and she made him happy -- but also a tad crazy at times. Regardless of Laura's age, he insisted he was attracted to her and liked her.

Laura ended up being shorter than Aladin expected, but he loved her and ended up proposing to her during her first trip to Qatar.

Aladin said couples are not allowed to sleep together before marriage in his culture but he looked forward to getting "jiggy jiggy" with Laura after their wedding.

Aladin missed Laura terribly and couldn't wait for her to join his life, but he told the cameras she had trust issues from her previous marriage.

Aladin revealed he and Laura argued about social media constantly, as she questioned every single new follower he had, so he would sometimes block her for a day or two until she calmed down.

Aladin didn't think their problems were going to disappear in Qatar, but he said Laura needed to "answer to" him since he was the man in their relationship.

Before Laura left for Qatar, she bought a few items to "really spice things up in the bedroom." She hoped Aladin would have an open mind when it comes to sex toys and such.

"Unfortunately, sometimes, I have faked it to get it over with," Laura said with a laugh. "So I want to get him at a spot in intimacy where I am having as much of a good time as he is having."

Laura admitted Aladin was shocked to find out he wasn't rocking her world in the bedroom.
