90 Day Fiance: The Other Way featured Kenny agreeing to go through with surrogacy, Tejaswi taking Kimberly back after their big fight, Yohan complaining his American wife wasn't supporting him financially, and Sarper refusing to take his relationship with Shekinah public during the Season 5 episode that aired Monday night on TLC.

The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way season also stars Daniele, 42, and Yohan, 33, as well as Kenny, 60, and Armando, 34.

Daniele and Yohan originally appeared on 90 Day Fiance's Love in Paradise: The Caribbean before appearing on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's fourth season. They were last shown breaking up on the show's Tell-All.

Kenny and Armando previously starred on Season 2 and Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.

Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way also stars Brandan, a 23-year-old from Oregon, and Mary, a 23-year-old from the Philippines; Holly, a 44-year-old from Utah, and Wayne, a 40-year-old from South Africa; Tejaswi or "TJ," a 33-year-old from India, and Kimberly, a 30-year-old from Alabama; Kirsten, a 24-year-old from the Netherlands, and Julio, a 27-year-old from New York; and Sarper, a 43-year-old from Turkey, and Shekinah, a 41-year-old from Los Angeles.

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way follows American citizens moving to or living in foreign countries for the sake of love and their future spouses and experiencing culture shock.

Below is what happened on Episode 12 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's fifth season.

SHEKINAH and SARPER

Although Sarper and Shekinah had slept on an uncomfortable couch together, Sarper said they had a "dream night" together, and Shekinah agreed that their sexual chemistry was better than she could ever imagine.

"It was passion, it's electric," Shekinah said.

"And the neighbors are complaining because of the noise," Sarper shared. "Security called us, 'Can you turn off the television?' I said, 'We are not watching.' Then I thought, 'Oh god, she is the television!'"

Shekinah, however, still wanted Sarper to buy a new bed because of all the women who had slept in it. She wanted to stage the whole apartment differently, and she also saged Sarper -- and his place -- to get rid of negative energy and any evil lingering from his past flings.

Sarper then asked Shekinah to step on a scale, and it revealed that she weighed 132 pounds.

It worried Shekinah that Sarper cared so much about her weight, but Sarper explained to the cameras how Shekinah wanted to put on more muscle and he could shape her body into exactly what he wanted given he's a personal trainer and that's his career.

Sarper helped Shekinah pick out her outfit for the day, and Shekinah said she actually loved how Sarper tried to make her look "perfect." He had even asked her to lighten and grow her hair longer.

When Shekinah got dressed and all dolled up, Sarper pointed out how she looked a little pale and needed more blush. Shekinah found this level of attention a little annoying, but she just brushed it off and couldn't wait for Sarper to buy them a brand new bed.

Later that day, Shekinah and Sarper went shopping at a Turkish bazaar. They took a selfie in front of a store, but Sarper asked her not to post it on social media.

Sarper was apparently afraid of women bashing him to Shekinah, but Shekinah wondered if Sarper was making excuses and not taking their commitment seriously.

Shekinah felt "triggered" by Sarper demanding secrecy and asking her to make her Instagram private.

"I know exactly what it means: you don't want certain women to see me," Shekinah said.

Shekinah said this is what controlling men had done to her in the past, knowing they could continue being a player on the side. Shekinah said she wasn't going to let Sarper do this to her, but Sarper insisted he was just trying to protect her.

Sarper warned Shekinah that some of his former one-night stands would stalk her and there were psychos out there who tracked him and would possibly harass her.

"You need to post our relationship, because this is not okay... There are people who think they have a chance with you. If you want me to trust you, you have to do that. I moved here for you, and you can't even make a post for me," Shekinah told her man.

Sarper was surprised this was such a big deal to Shekinah, but she said she didn't want to be a secret or be hidden. Sarper's resistance to this raised alarms in Shekinah's head, and she said she could handle herself.

Sarper, however, didn't want a woman to say something negative that could harm their relationship.

Shekinah told Sarper that he was being "shady" and had "player" behavior.

Sarper posted a picture of them on his Instagram Stories, thinking it was better than nothing, but Shekinah desired a permanent post -- not a fleeting-moment upload.

Sarper questioned if he'd ever be able to make Shekinah happy. He told Shekinah that out of 2,500 women, she was "The One."

But Shekinah said instead of making her feel special, that made her feel "sick." She viewed Sarper as a giant red flag in this moment and didn't think he was ready to commit.

Sarper, on the other hand, didn't feel appreciated. He was expecting a "thank you" rather than a complaint.

DANIELE and YOHAN

Things between Yohan and Daniele had been very tense lately, and so Yohan was shown working out at the gym with his cousin Alberto.

Alberto could tell that Yohan looked sad, and Yohan explained how Daniele had promised him a good life but that wasn't happening. Yohan said they lived in a nice apartment, but they were still renting.

Yohan didn't want to rent forever, adding, "No one can live like this."

Yohan was expecting they'd already have a house and a car purchased at this point in their marriage.

"I'm not seeing the good life Daniele promised," Yohan told the cameras.

Yohan told Alberto that his friend had married an American woman and she bought him a car and an apartment while they were just dating. Yohan said when he had approached Daniele about this, she thought that woman was "stupid."

Yohan, on the other hand, saw it as a nice and helpful gesture, and so the pair apparently fought about that.

Alberto apparently thought it was pathetic that, after a year of marriage, all Yohan received from Daniele was a dog.

"So what is that ring good for?" Alberto asked Yohan. "The dream when marrying a foreigner is for the papers and to have their own home. But if the situation doesn't change, he will end up being the puppy's babysitter."

Yohan said Daniele was aware of his financial situation from the start and he had nothing. Regardless, he said he was tired of renting their apartment and making car payments. Yohan thought Daniele should be contributing more, and so he planned to ask her to step it up.

"She should give me the life of a king here [in the Dominican Republic]," Yohan shared in a confessional. "I married an American woman to stay here and have nothing? That's like a horror story."

In order to please Yohan, Daniele and her husband went shopping for a car. Daniele was quoted $30,000 for a 2019 used vehicle, and a dealer also offered Daniele a car -- without a working battery -- for $30,000.

Daniele thought the shopping experience was ridiculous, especially since she and Yohan didn't need to drive every day. She thought they could better invest their money into a home or an egg donor.

Daniele and Yohan ended up fighting about the car. Daniele thought Yohan was willing to throw her money away but not his own, and Yohan said Daniele should be paying for their life since she was the one who wanted to continue living in the Dominican Republic.

Yohan apparently thought he'd be able to make more money -- and therefore pay for more things -- in the United States.

Daniele warned Yohan that he wouldn't receive a high paying job in the U.S. because he spoke English poorly. She said if Yohan thought she was going to enable and financially support him, then Yohan had picked the wrong American woman.

"No, I'm not going to pay for our life here, and no, I'm not going to take you to the United States. So come up with a different idea," Daniele snapped.

ARMANDO and KENNY

Armando admitted that he liked Mexico City and was prepared to step out of his "little world" and give it a chance. Armando told the cameras that Kenny was right about a lot of things, including this move to Mexico City.

Kenny was "super excited" that Armando had come around to the idea.

After Armando's daughter Hannah finished the school year, the couple intended to make the move.

But Armando still wanted to find a surrogate and have a child with Kenny, who was unsure if he wanted to have another baby. Kenny seemed to prefer the idea of adopting, and so Armando just wanted an answer so he'd stop giving his hopes up.

Armando asked Kenny what he was thinking, and Kenny explained how he had "an epiphany" recently.

"Why should I say, 'No?' I want to do it deep in my heart, and I can't let the age be a factor... I don't have a crystal ball. I want your dreams to be fulfilled... and if I can do that, then I want to do it for you," Kenny revealed.

"Oh my god, that makes me so, so happy you have no idea! Thank you!" Armando responded.

Kenny therefore decided to go through with surrogacy, and he and Armando were thrilled to start this journey together. Armando looked forward to having "the cutest family" with Kenny, and Kenny could finally picture it as well.

KIMBERLY and TEJASWI

Kimberly asked TJ is their relationship was over, and he essentially said "yes" and that he was very sad about this turn of events.

TJ thought Kimberly was rude in front of their family members, and he thought she was nitpicking and complaining about everything since she had arrived in India. TJ thought Kimberly had changed, and so he wasn't sure if their romance was salvageable.

TJ said Kimberly broke their relationship and she had shattered him, but Kimberly told TJ that he was the only man whom she wanted to marry and could see her future with.

TJ, however, felt devalued and unimportant. He explained to Kimberly how he didn't think there was a point in staying together if one person was always sad and upset in the relationship.

Kimberly broke down into tears and admitted she hadn't been giving their relationship a fair shot. She promised TJ that he was "everything" to her and she'd give their romance her best effort going forward.

"I promise I can do this," Kimberly said in tears.

TJ noted that he loved Kimberly but it was very hard to make her happy, and he wasn't convinced she was "worth the struggle."

TJ assured Kimberly that he still loved her but he couldn't stand all of the chaos.

"Maybe in the future, we need to think about this," TJ said.

"Okay, so there is a future?" Kimberly asked.

"Yeah, there's a future -- and we're getting married in two days," TJ responded.

Kimberly told the cameras how she needed TJ in her future and she'd do anything to keep him around, even if it meant "sucking up" to his family.
