TLC has announced 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's sixth season will premiere with a special two-hour episode on Monday, July 1 at 8PM ET/PT.

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way viewers will "follow six couples who have fallen in love with partners from foreign lands and decide to move abroad to live with them," according to the network.

"One couple is packed and ready to start their van life together traveling through Europe; financial differences and family rifts are on full display, while secret marriages and troublesome pasts come into play."

The new season will feature Americans moving to China, Iceland, Ireland, Turkey, Indonesia, and England.

The two returning couples are Shekinah from California and Sarper from Turkey as well as Statler from Texas and Dempsey from England.

Shekinah and Sarper were last seen on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. On the show's Tell-All in December 2023, Sarper -- who claimed he had slept with 2,500 women before committing to Shekinah -- boasted about how the chemistry he felt with Shekinah was out of this world.

And Shekinah shared how she's the Barbie to Sarper's Ken.

"I love to serve him," Shekinah admitted. "I consider this is a healthy relationship. I don't feel like I'm being controlled."

Shekinah, however, wasn't willing to have a child with Sarper, who said he really wanted to be a father.

"We're just enjoying our relationship and getting to know each other more and more every day, and we have something really special," Shekinah said.

TLC shared of what's to come for Shekinah and Sarper: "After being back in the U.S. for three months, Shekinah is making her move to Turkey to be with her 'reformed bad boy' partner, Sarper."

"The couple works to resolve their issues, however, women from Sarper's past reach out to Shekinah, which leaves her questioning how well she really knows Sarper," the network adds.

"Will the past get in the way of this perfectly imperfect couple and threaten their relationship for good?"

90 Day Fiance viewers last saw Statler and Dempsey on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

On the spinoff's Tell-All special that aired in September 2023, Dempsey said Statler was the most important person in her life and she wanted to do life with her going forward.

Statler said she and Dempsey weren't going to live on the farm and they had some big news to share.

"We decided we're going to look into buying a camper van so we can travel around to different countries and Europe -- and just travel around in a van full-time," Dempsey announced.

"It's the ultimate lesbian dream," Statler added. "She's been selling all of her things... but it's too overwhelming."

Statler shared how she was going to be the breadwinner for a few months but she'd like to have a partner who is also financially independent.

Statler also acknowledged that she and Dempsey struggled to communicate but Dempsey refused to see a therapist. In order to meet halfway, Dempsey had agreed to do couple's workbooks, with therapy as a last resort.

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's new season, Statler and Dempsey will be shown embarking on their great European van life.

"While Dempsey passionately plans out their new lives on the road living in a van, Statler becomes increasingly overwhelmed and doubts her decisions about this drastic lifestyle change," TLC teases.

"Once the couple starts to make their way through Europe, Statler's anxiety really begins to bubble over, and it is obvious this European adventure might not turn out so spectacular after all."

The four other couples who will star on the new season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way are as follows: Josh from South Carolina and Lily from China, James from Maine and Meitalia from Indonesia, Corona from Pennsylvania and Ingi from Iceland, and Joanne from New York and Sean from Ireland.

Josh and Lily met on a language learning app and fell deeply in love -- so much so that they got married and Josh decided to quit his job in America and move to China.

Lily, a successful business owner, believed Josh was her dream man.

"But with Josh not being able to work in China and Lily being the sole income earner, disagreements start to overtake the relationship and this financial contrast becomes a major source of contention between the couple," TLC teases of the pair.

"Will tensions, intensified by disagreeing family members, lead to a breakup?"

James and Meitalia met online and got married. By the time the show filmed, they were together for two-and-a-half years and living together in Maine.

Meitalia, however, grew homesick and began dealing with health issues, and so she decided the couple must move to Indonesia to be with her family.

"James struggles to break the news of their move to his tight-knit family but troubles really set in once the couple is in Indonesia," TLC shares of the couple.

"James is tested by Meitalia's family: when will he learn the language? When will they have children? How are they going to survive financially in Indonesia?"

Corona and Ingi met in Iceland following a night of partying, and Corona, a midwife in training, decided to move to Iceland to be with her Icelandic "Viking" Ingi, even if that meant giving up her spot in a prestigious midwifery program.

"Once she arrives, Corona quickly realizes her 'hot' romance may be a little too icy for her," TLC says.

"With Ingi's limited dating experience coupled with the fact that she may not be able to study in the midwifery program there in Iceland, Corona must make the ultimate decision: stay in Iceland to pursue love or return to the U.S. to pursue her dream career."

And for Joanne and Sean's part, the secretly-married couple decided they needed to be physically together in Ireland, where they could create a home.

"But before Joanne can even begin thinking about moving to Ireland, she needs the approval of her two sons whom she is finally bringing to meet Sean," TLC teases.

"Things take a turn in Ireland, and Sean and Joanne get pulled in multiple directions and deal with the strains that have been caused by carrying their secret."

In an official preview of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's sixth season, Sean says that his "type" happens to be "American-Italian MILFs," and Corona's family appears to worry their race won't be well represented in Iceland.

Shekinah boasts that Sarper has designed a new nose for her, with Sarper adding, "I'm the one who needs to look at her every morning, so let me choose."

Statler and Dempsey get into an argument about their differences, and Meitalia is shown crying to her parents and asking for forgiveness.
