Below is what happened on Episode 16 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' seventh season on TLC.

BRIAN and INGRID

Brian said he was true to himself after being taken advantage of in several previous past relationships, and so he was proud of standing up for himself.

Ingrid, on the other hand, was furious. She complained about how she didn't even know what a passport was and she's not the type of person Brian was accusing her to be.

"Maybe to him I'm just an opportunist who wants to go to the United States and this whole time I didn't feel anything. I'm just a friend to him," Ingrid cried.

"I feel like it was a waste of time. I don't deserve this. He's very mistaken about me. At this point, the relationship is over for me."

Ingrid and Brian ultimately decided they weren't a match, and so they had an emotional goodbye.

Brian insisted that he didn't hate Ingrid and there should be no bad blood between them, but Ingrid said she felt "deceived" and "disappointed."

Ingrid said her trip with Brian was totally different from what she had been expecting.

Ingrid explained how she really wanted the relationship to work so she'd have a companion to talk to and cheer her up, but she acknowledged something was missing with Brian.

Brian thought he was going to end his trip with a fiancee, but instead, he left Brazil with another ex.

It seemed like Brian was starting to give up on love; he desperately wanted to meet a woman who would love him for who he is and accept the fact he's in a wheelchair.

But Brian came to the conclusion that the right woman is still waiting for him.

"But we tried, so I'm not mad at it," Brian noted. "I have to believe that The One is still out there."

LOREN and FAITH

To show his love for Faith, he asked Faith to give him a tattoo with the Philippines flag and an "F" in it for Faith. Loren bought a little DIY kit for the tattoo because he said he was broke, and Faith admitted it was "weird" and "insane."

However, Faith decided to play along and do it. Loren said he never wanted to forget this trip and he's had people give him tattoos before.

Faith said life would never be boring with Loren but she wasn't sure if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.

But Loren boasted, "I want to make sure Faith knows that I'm committed to her forever."

Since Faith liked to do magic, Loren went to a magic store to buy some items. Loren planned to propose marriage to Faith while doing a magic trick for her to impress her.

Loren planned a romantic picnic for Faith with wine and snacks. Faith wanted to let her guard down with Loren, but she confessed it was still hard for her to trust him.

Loren then did a few magic tricks for Faith and asked her to marry him. Loren told Faith that he loved her and he'd work hard for her family.

Faith hesitated but responded, "Yeah, it's a 'yes.'"

The pair kissed and drank wine, and they both appeared really happy. The couple had yet to be intimate, and so Faith hoped their sex was going to be as good as the proposal.

NILES and MATILDA

Niles and Matilda's wedding day had arrived, but Niles was having a hard time dealing with the fact his parents weren't supportive of their relationship. Niles also needed to borrow money from Mr. Arc -- who had agreed to stand in as his father -- to pay for the wedding.

Niles was nervous to ask for money because if the conversation didn't go well, the ceremony wasn't going to happen.

Mr. Arc was a tough cookie who gave Niles instructions on how to sit, stand, talk and behave. It was a little overwhelming for Niles, but he appreciated the relationship they had.

Niles promised Mr. Arc that he'd take care of Matilda, but then he asked for a loan.

Mr. Arc said this request was a "shock" to him and he was "very concerned" about this news.

Niles explained to Mr. Arc how he had lost his job before traveling to see Matilda but things were in motion and he had a plan. Niles promised that he'd begin working again once he returned to the U.S. and he could provide for Matilda.

Niles had interviewed for a job with a good salary and benefits back home, and so he was hoping for the best.

Niles also said that within five months, Matilda would be in the United States with him.

Niles admitted to the cameras his promise to Mr. Arc was a little unrealistic. Niles said he would expect Matilda's spousal visa to be approved in as little as three months or as long as five years.

Niles hoped to speed up the process however possible, adding, "Where there is a will, there is a way."

Mr. Arc decided to help Niles out at the last minute, and it provided Niles with a lot of relief. Niles insisted he'd pay Mr. Arc back as soon as possible.

TIGERLILY and ADNAN

Adnan's mother and brother were flying in for a couple of days to celebrate Thanksgiving. Adnan had rented a house with a big kitchen so that Tigerlily could cook a nice dinner for his family.

Tigerlily gushed about how Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday and so she thought it would be nice to share her American traditions with his family.

Adnan went shopping for all of the ingredients, and he even bought Tigerlily a pumpkin -- which is something he had seen in the movies -- thinking she'd need it.

Tigerlily quickly ran into problems, such as no hot water and an oven with controls she couldn't figure out.

Tigerlily didn't expect Adnan to help her cook, but he just sat on the couch and looked at his phone as she struggled to feel comfortable in this foreign kitchen.

Tigerlily wished Adnan would be more supportive and helpful, and it made her worry how their life was going to be in Texas together once they moved to the United States.

Tigerlily pulled off a beautiful meal but foreign ingredients, and she gushed about how being a part of a big family made her feel so happy and special. It was a wonderful holiday in Turkey for Tigerlily.

Adnan's mother was very proud of her son and how he had grown right before her eyes, but she was sad about the idea of Adnan leaving her and moving to the United States.

Adnan hoped to visit his mother in Jordan once a month or so, but Tigerlily admitted that wasn't realistic. Tigerlily told the cameras that if she got pregnant, she needed Adnan to be there for her and support her full-time.

"I'm wondering if Adnan is going to put his family before our family. After all the sacrifices I have made thus far, this feels like a slap in the face," Tigerlily complained to the cameras.

VEAH and SUNNY

Veah bought Sunny clothes to cover her tattoos because she'd be meeting his parents. Sunny wanted to show his parents that Veah respected them as well as their culture.

Veah thought meeting Sunny's father would be a step in the right direction for their relationship.

Veah felt a little uneasy. When Veah was adopted at a young age, the family made her wear long dresses and head coverings because they thought showing skin was a sin.

Dressing so conservatively brought back mad memories for Veah, was had apparently been adopted into a cult.

Sunny felt bad that Veah didn't like the dresses and felt uncomfortable, but he really appreciated how she was trying and he told her that she looked really beautiful.

"She shows me how much she loves me and cares about me, and I hope my dad will see that too," Sunny told the cameras.

When Veah met Sunny's father, he said he thought she was going to look healthier. Sunny's dad said she looked tired, and Veah felt like he was attacking her looks and weight.

The meeting was tense and awkward, and Sunny's dad discovered that she had tattoos. He asked her to remove the ink because tattoos are "totally wrong."

Veah, however, said her tattoos told a story and meant a lot to her. Veah said she didn't want to remove her tattoos, and then Sunny's dad asked her to follow her man and convert to Islam.

When Veah asked Sunny if he wanted her to do that, he said they'd talk about it later on.

Veah left the restaurant because the meeting was "a lot" and she didn't want to deal with it anymore.

Veah admitted his father was a little bit pushy but Veah had behaved poorly and he didn't know how she was going to win back his father.

JOE and MAGDA

Magda said she had a poor night sleep. Joe had tried to make Magda a romantic dinner the night before, but he explained how he didn't want to jump in too quickly and rush their relationship.

"I think it's important to take the time to get to know someone, and it sucks that she takes it as, 'I don't love you. I don't want to be with you,'" Joe lamented in a confessional.

Magda told Joe that she felt confused, and Joe clarified how he wanted to spend his life with her but they needed to figure each other out.

Since Magda loved Joe, she didn't want to wait to get engaged or married.

But Joe and Magda hadn't been intimate yet, and Joe said he couldn't see himself popping the question when he didn't even know if they were physically compatible.

Joe didn't want to pressure Magda into having sex with him, but that was clearly an important part of a relationship to him.

"I think it's best if we don't argue and try to enjoy the time that we're here. I'm sorry," Joe said.

"Okay," Magda agreed. "I don't want to fight with you either."

Magda still felt disappointed, and she wondered how long it was going to take for Joe to be sure that she was the woman whom he wanted to be with forever.

However, Magda chose to let her frustrations go in the moment and show Joe around her town. She wanted to enjoy the day with her man and have fun.

While having a picnic in a park, Magda revealed how she signed papers to legally break her relationship with her father. She said he'd no longer be able to ask her for money or help.

"That's another reason I want us to take our time, because divorce is hard," Joe noted.

Joe told Magda that he didn't want to hurt her, and that made Magda happy because many men had hurt her in the past.

Veah began to worry that Sunny would want her to convert to Islam when she didn't really want that life for herself. The night ultimately gave Veah an anxiety attack, and she begged Sunny to leave her alone.

"I hate seeing Veah like this. I wish I did talk to her about converting her religion before we met my father, but I was so scared of losing her. Now, we are in a bigger mess," Sunny lamented to the cameras.

"The truth is, if Veah doesn't convert her religion, I can't be with her. And I don't know how to tell her. It's really freaking me out."
