'90 Day Fiance' recap: Faith accuses Loren of flirting, Niles tells Matilda he's broke, Joe calls Magda reckless

90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days featured Faith accusing Loren of being a flirt, Niles breaking the news to Matilda he was broke, Joe calling Magda "impulsive" and "reckless," and Tigerlily breaking down over Adnan's rules during the Season 7 episode that aired Sunday night on TLC.


90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' seventh season stars eight new couples who are convinced they found true love.

The eight couples include Tigerlily, a 41-year-old from Texas, and Adnan, a 23-year-old from Jordan; Rayne, a 38-year-old from New Mexico, and Chidi, a 34-year-old from Nigeria; Loren, a 33-year-old from Nevada, and Faith, a 31-year-old from the Philippines; and Niles, a 28-year-old from Alabama, and Matilda, a 23-year-old from Ghana.

The rest of the new Season 7 couples are Joe, a 34-year-old from Florida, and Magda, a 23-year-old from Poland; Brian, a 52-year-old from Illinois, and Ingrid, a 33-year-old from Brazil; Veah, a 27-year-old from Florida, and Sunny, a 26-year-old from South Africa; and Vanja, a 41-year-old from Florida, and Bozo, a 38-year-old from Croatia.


Like 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' prior seasons, the seventh season will follow Americans who began online romantic relationships with foreign partners as they travel overseas hoping to get engaged to someone they have never met in person and then begin the K-1 Visa immigration process.

Along the way, the Americans will encounter challenges that include large age gaps, language barriers, cultural issues, and questionable pasts as they travel to a list of countries that includes Nigeria, Philippines, Ghana, Poland, Brazil, Jordan, South Africa, and Croatia to meet their online partners for the first time.

Below is what happened on Episode 14 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' seventh season on TLC.

FAITH and LOREN

Loren had just met Faith's family in Manila, Philippines, and he said his gonorrhea was almost treated and fully gone. He couldn't wait to be intimate with Faith again.

Faith said she couldn't have imagined she'd ever forgive Loren for cheating and hurting her so much; however, she was starting to let her guard down.


"He has really proven how committed he is. So now I am feeling in love with Loren again, and I want to keep opening my heart to him," Faith shared in a confessional.

The next morning, Loren went to the clinic and learned that his STD had cleared up and he'd need no additional treatment. Faith was therefore excited to put that behind them, have some alcoholic drinks, and "get it on."

Loren said he felt a lot of pressure because he only had a few days left in the Philippines and the couple had yet to kiss.

That night, Faith took Loren to a drag show at a nightclub, where she planned to introduce her boyfriend to her best friends.

Faith's friends could tell that Faith looked happy, but they were still bitter about Loren's mistakes and the fact he had really betrayed Faith. They also didn't think he looked remorseful or regretful.


At one point in the evening, Faith took the stage and performed a pole dance for the audience, and Loren thought she looked "super sexy." He apparently had no idea that she could move like that, and he said there was "magic" in the air.

Loren predicted that he and Faith were going to take their relationship to the next level that night.

Faith's friends ultimately thought Loren was "arrogant," and they told Faith that they didn't trust him. Faith, feeling uncomfortable, left the gathering as a result.

Faith's friends ran after her and warned Faith that Loren had flirted with another woman at the club when Faith's back was turned away from him.

Faith believed what her friends had seen, and so she didn't know what to think or what to do. Faith said she felt "stupid" for giving Loren a second chance because he had flirted with someone else right in front of her friends.

"I don't think there is any hope for us," Faith concluded. 

Loren argued that he wasn't flirting, and he claimed he was just having fun at the club and supporting the dancers. Loren feared that if Faith couldn't trust him or hear him out, their relationship may be over.

NILES and MATILDA

Niles and Matilda had just gotten into a big fight over Niles' desire to postpone their wedding after the knocking ceremony. Matilda's family wanted Niles to marry Matilda during his trip to Ghana, but Niles wasn't quite ready.

Niles also admitted he wished he had handled the pressure a little better and not blamed Matilda.


"I don't think I should've been attacked, so I guess I pointed that somewhere else. That was not the right thing to do in that moment, and I shouldn't have accused you of intentionally trying to mislead me," Niles explained to Matilda.

Matilda was clearly angry and upset because she said she loved Niles and was never after his money.

Matilda also believed she had warned Niles how her family was going to react to him trying to bend the rules.

Niles then decided that, because he truly loved Matilda, he wanted to marry her right after the knocking ceremony, which would please her family and abide by her family's customs and sacred cultural beliefs.

Niles therefore agreed to have a traditional Ghanaian marriage, and Matilda, in turn, told her fiance that they wouldn't need to have a big, expensive party. Matilda knew that such a gathering would probably make Niles feel uncomfortable, and so she put his feelings first.

The couple had a lot to do in order to prepare for the wedding, but Matilda seemed joyful and thrilled.


Niles claimed that no one had pressured him to do this and that he was simply ready to start the next chapter of his life with Matilda. He insisted that he wanted to get married and it was his decision.

Niles then met with Matilda's community elder, Mr. Arc, again to discuss the bride price. Putting a price on Matilda made Niles feel awkward, but he still did his best to respect their culture.

Mr. Arc attempted to negotiate a fair price since Niles had agreed to move the wedding up, but he said it was going to be up to Matilda's family and he wouldn't have much say over their demands.

Matilda's family ultimately asked for $395 U.S. dollars, which was a lot for Niles at that time. Niles was struggling financially and would have to come clean eventually.

"But the thought of giving Matilda's family another disappointment is too much to handle," Niles told the cameras.

Niles and Matilda were going to have to plan a wedding quickly, and with that, many expenses were not planned. Niles wasn't even sure if he had $400 in his bank account.


Niles could only withdraw $109 U.S. dollars, and so Matilda immediately became worried. Matilda complained that her wedding dress alone was going to cost more than that.

"There's something I need to tell you. Just before I went on this trip here, I lost my job," Niles told Matilda. "That's why I don't have money."

Niles had been let go of his job helping autistic people live independently, which apparently devastated him, and he said he wasn't paying attention to his balance when taking Matilda shopping and out to dinner.

"It's frustrating being with a man who can't tell the truth... We could've negotiated lower for the bride price, but now we can't go back. We have to figure out a way to get the money or my family won't allow me to marry him," Matilda explained.

Niles hoped Mr. Arc would be able to help him pay for the wedding since his own parents weren't supportive of this relationship with Matilda to begin with.

TIGERLILY and ADNAN

Tigerlily hoped she and Adnan had made a baby, and then the couple decided to go to the hotel pool together.


Tigerlily had agreed to cover up and dress conservatively for her man to make him happy, but she demanded the same from him in return.

Tigerlily was still showing her legs and arms, which Adnan didn't like, but Adnan didn't complain since Tigerlily was making a genuine effort to be a good wife to a Muslim man.

However, Tigerlily didn't feel comfortable in her high-neck swimsuit at all, and she noticed that there were other women wearing bikinis to the pool.

Adnan claimed he had told Tigerlily that her life was going to change once they got married, but Tigerlily said she never anticipated having to change her personality and how she dressed.

Adnan told Tigerlily that he didn't want to control her but this had to do with his religion.


Tigerlily got a little emotional at the pool because she didn't feel like she had a choice. Tigerlily said she loved Adnan and she wanted to make him happy.

"He can't be the one to compromise in this situation. I have to. It's just not going to change," Tigerlily cried.

"I don't know how I can fix this," Adnan said.

JOE and MAGDA

After a tense evening, Magda told Joe that she needed more time to get over his cheating.

Joe, however, considered himself single at the time -- although he didn't actually remember the time or date of the affair -- and so he didn't think he had cheated on Magda at all.

But Magda had lost trust in Joe and wondered if he was going to be unfaithful again.


Magda was clearly bothered by Joe's behavior, but she decided to put on a good face and try to have fun with Joe during his second day in Poland by checking out a nearby salt mine.

Magda wasn't in the best mood, and she admitted she was scared that Joe was going to lie to her or hurt her again.

Joe apologized for making Magda feel that way, and he insisted that he only wanted to be with her for the rest of his life.

But Magda wanted to know the full truth, and Joe confessed to the cameras that there was something he hadn't told her that could cause an even bigger fight.

"This is your last chance to tell me everything," Magda noted.

Joe told Madga that he had nothing else to share with her and he loved her, but he was still holding back information about his good friend Jill, whom he had dated about seven years ago.


Joe didn't want Magda to be jealous of Jill or think that was an issue.

Magda came down with a terrible headache that day, but Joe took care of her and made her smile. Magda appreciated Joe's efforts and having him by her side when she was in pain.

The pair ended up sleeping in the same bed, and such an arrangement made them both feel safe and happy. Magda also began trusting Joe more.

Joe later met Magda's dog and a few of her friends, and Magda talked about how she wanted Joe to commit to her.

Joe, however, didn't want to rush things, especially since they already had a fight, and then Joe learned about Magda's ex-boyfriend who had hurt her.

Madga hoped Joe wouldn't judge her for having moved to Germany for a man following a brief courtship.


But Joe was, in fact, surprised. He worried that Magda had a "reckless" and "impulsive" pattern of moving for men, especially since she was already talking about moving to the United States to be with him.

VANJA and BOZO

Vanja was completely heartbroken after Bozo had dumped her. She couldn't believe she was alone in a foreign country, and she called herself "a fool" for getting herself into this bad situation.

Vanja also called herself a bad picker of men.

Vanja, however, decided to try to enjoy her trip to Croatia to the best of her ability, and so she went to a national park.

Taking her cousin's advice, Vanja attempted to have fun. She even visited a local coffee shop and met a new guy named Noah.

Noah offered Vanja his phone number, but she wasn't ready for that because he was in an open relationship.


"That doesn't fly for me; I don't share. But it makes me feel a lot better... the fact Noah is hitting on me and there are still men who find me attractive," Vanja shared.

Vanja realized she should stay in Croatia longer and take a little peek on the local dating apps.
