'90 Day Fiance' recap: Joe pumps the brakes, Brian and Ingrid have explosive confrontation, and Vanja finds new love

90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days featured Vanja feeling a soul connection with a new man, Joe pumping the brakes on his relationship with Magda, Matilda having second thoughts about moving to America, and Brian accusing Ingrid of using him during the Season 7 episode that aired Sunday night on TLC.


90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' seventh season stars eight new couples who are convinced they found true love.

The eight couples include Tigerlily, a 41-year-old from Texas, and Adnan, a 23-year-old from Jordan; Rayne, a 38-year-old from New Mexico, and Chidi, a 34-year-old from Nigeria; Loren, a 33-year-old from Nevada, and Faith, a 31-year-old from the Philippines; and Niles, a 28-year-old from Alabama, and Matilda, a 23-year-old from Ghana.

The rest of the new Season 7 couples are Joe, a 34-year-old from Florida, and Magda, a 23-year-old from Poland; Brian, a 52-year-old from Illinois, and Ingrid, a 33-year-old from Brazil; Veah, a 27-year-old from Florida, and Sunny, a 26-year-old from South Africa; and Vanja, a 41-year-old from Florida, and Bozo, a 38-year-old from Croatia.


Like 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' prior seasons, the seventh season will follow Americans who began online romantic relationships with foreign partners as they travel overseas hoping to get engaged to someone they have never met in person and then begin the K-1 Visa immigration process.

Along the way, the Americans will encounter challenges that include large age gaps, language barriers, cultural issues, and questionable pasts as they travel to a list of countries that includes Nigeria, Philippines, Ghana, Poland, Brazil, Jordan, South Africa, and Croatia to meet their online partners for the first time.

Below is what happened on Episode 15 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' seventh season on TLC.

VANJA and BOZO

Vanja had a date and was about to go kayaking with a new "hot" man named Josko in Croatia.

"There is something about him that just makes me feel like we click," Vanja gushed. "I am nervous because there's a lot on the line here... I'm going into this with an open mind."


She had already spent some time with a different guy, Euda, but he didn't seem to be a very affectionate or outgoing guy, and so it didn't work out.

When Vanja and Josko met up, she said he looked even better in person and he smelled "delicious."

Vanja gushed about his big muscles and felt sparks immediately, and she also pointed out how he had a great "bubble butt."

Bozo thought Vanja was adventurous and active, and he said he liked her positive energy and good vibes. Josko was also very attracted to Vanja, whom he said had a beautiful body.

"She's turning me on!" Josko quipped.


After their kayak adventure, Vanja and Bozo kissed, and she called him amazing. Bozo said he liked Vanja a lot, and she insisted that the day was young and their date was going to continue into the evening.

Vanja ended up inviting Josko back to her apartment, and Josko said they had a great connection and she was definitely his type. Josko said Vanja's eyes were "mesmerizing" and he was going to fall in love with them.

Vanja felt so comfortable with Josko, and she said it felt like their souls were connected. Vanja gushed about how sparks were flying from both sides and their immediate chemistry was a dream come true for her.

The pair continued to kiss and get to know each other better, and Vanja found out that he was fostering a child as a single man. Vanja thought that was an amazing sacrifice to make and spoke volumes about him as a person.


Josko said his baby scared off 90 percent of women and so it was wonderful that Vanja was excited about the idea and commended him for it. Josko said Vanja would probably make a great mom, and Vanja said she was open to potentially being a stepmother.

Vanja planned to make another date with Josko the next day, but she wasn't sure how he'd handle dating long distance once she returned to America and he had a one-year-old at home to take care of.

"I'm a little scared of getting too close too fast, only to have things not work out and to end up with my heart broken again," Vanja shared in a confessional.

INGRID and BRIAN

Ingrid asked for space after finding out about Brian's long list of ex-wives. She felt uneasy and unsure about the future.

Brian, however, thought he and Ingrid always had space between them because they weren't even sleeping in the same place. Brian was also running out of time in Brazil and felt judged by his girlfriend.


"I have been doing my best, but it just doesn't seem to be working," Brian lamented to the cameras.

He added, "It's just hard. After going through so much heartbreak in my life, I put a lot on this trip. I came on this trip thinking Ingrid was The One and that this was it, but I don't know if that's true anymore."

Ingrid eventually messaged Brian, who said he had a lot to get off his chest.

Brian needed Ingrid to convince him that she had genuine feelings for him. Brian said he didn't feel like Ingrid really liked him because of the way she kissed him, but she insisted that she did.

"Her words and her actions just aren't matching up," Brian concluded. "There is something in my gut that's telling me she's not here for the right reasons."

Brian told Ingrid that he felt like she was using him and not being real with him. Ingrid shook her head no, but Brian wondered if she just wanted to move to the United States with her children.


Ingrid accused Brian of going crazy, and she flipped out about his lack of trust in her. Ingrid stormed out of the restaurant and felt very disrespected.

VEAH and SUNNY

It didn't go well when Veah had introduced her ex-boyfriend Rory to her new boyfriend Sunny. Sunny made Veah choose between them against her will.

Veah didn't want to drop her friendship with Rory, but Sunny admitted he couldn't continue dating Veah if Rory remained in her life. Veah therefore chose Sunny, but she dubbed it a very "hurtful situation" to be caught between the two important men in her life.

"I don't think it was fair I was put in a situation where I have to choose. That's not fair. I don't want to choose," Veah explained to Sunny.

But Sunny reminded Veah that she had hidden things from him and wasn't exactly honest. Sunny had to work on trust with Veah, and he asked her to keep her friendship at home.

Veah acknowledged she had made mistakes and could've handled things better, and so she told Sunny that she could ask Rory to go home. Veah wanted to work on her relationship with Sunny more than anything else.

Rory ended up booking a flight back home, but Sunny asked to see him before he left. Sunny shared how he'd like to be the bigger person, when before he had talked a lot of trash and acted in a rude manner.

"I want to make peace together," Sunny said.

"Okay, I'm happy," Veah responded, adding how that showed a lot of maturity on Sunny's part.

But Veah was a little nervous about the guys seeing each other again because Rory was upset and she noted Sunny could be emotional and "unpredictable" in his behavior.

Veah, Sunny and Rory then took a safari in South Africa together, and Rory noted how there was still some hostility with Sunny.


The men enjoyed some laughs during the safari, and then Sunny told Rory that once he left, everything was going to be fine with Veah. Sunny admittedly had insecurities about Rory and Veah's past together.

Sunny told Rory that he regretted how he had treated him, and he asked for forgiveness.

"I want to say sorry from the bottom of my heart... I had no right to talk to you like that," Sunny said.

Rory appreciated Veah's apology, but he was worried that Sunny still had issues with jealousy and insecurity. Rory just wanted to see Sunny respect Veah, and for Veah to be happy in her relationship.

But later in the day, Sunny and Veah argued about how he wanted her to dress conservatively in front of his family. Sunny asked Veah to cover up her tattoos, but she was angry about Sunny trying to change her.

Rory took Sunny's side in the dispute, saying that Sunny's religion was important to him and Veah tended to be selfish and set in her ways. Rory joked about how it was Sunny's time to deal with her.

JOE and MAGDA

Joe had just met Magda's friends and Magda was surprised to learn that Joe didn't want to get married quickly. Magda hoped that Joe didn't mean what he had said because she was hoping to move to America with him.

"I hope he will propose to me before he leaves because he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with," Magda explained, adding how she would definitely say "yes" to a marriage proposal.

Joe, meanwhile, hadn't been expecting to propose marriage so quickly. He was also scared about how Magda had uprooted her life and moved to Germany for a man before.

"It is a lot in a short amount of time," Joe noted. "She is very adamant about me proposing, but I'm not going to do that until I'm 100 percent sure. It's way too early to make that decision."

Joe added that things were moving too quickly and so he needed to "pump the brakes" -- and fast. Joe said he just wasn't sure how Magda was going to handle that.


Magda then took Joe to her hometown of Bedzin, and she said she was so excited to show him around.

Joe realized that Magda's apartment was pretty small, especially considering she had a cat and a Doberman. Magda also had teddy bears in her place, but Magda insisted those were from her friends.

Magda revealed to Joe how she previously moved to Germany after a three-month romance, which Joe thought was really fast. But Magda reminded Joe how this man was cheating on her and that it took them living together for her to find that out.

Joe suggested that he and Magda should spend more time together before tying the knot, and Magda suddenly became quiet.

"You told me a few days ago that you want to spend the rest of your life with me," Magda complained. "It didn't sound like you had a worry about it or a worry about me."

Magda didn't understand why Joe had cold feet, and she said that she wasn't going to move to America without an engagement. Magda feared her future in the United States with Joe was in jeopardy.


Magda was very upset and disappointed, and Joe said if Magda refused to wait for him, he wasn't sure how they were going to move forward as a couple.

NILES and MATILDA

Niles and Matilda were preparing for their wedding the next day, but things were a little tense between them because Matilda just discovered that Niles had lost his job and he didn't have enough money to cover all of the wedding expenses.

Luckily, Matilda was able to borrow money from her brother in order to cover the cost of their wedding clothes.

Niles planned to ask Mr. Arc if he could borrow more money for the wedding, but if Mr. Arc turned him down, there wasn't going to be a wedding.

Niles' parents weren't supportive of this union, but Niles decided to call them and share the big news. Niles' father didn't think that Niles was ready to be a husband, but Niles insisted that Matilda was an amazing woman.

"What makes you think I'm being irrational? I've given [this relationship] two freakin' years," Niles told his father over the phone.


Niles asked his dad if he'd like to talk to Matilda and get to know him, but the man refused.

When asked if he was okay, Niles admitted, "I am pretty f-cking far from okay!... To hear my parents say that they can't support my marriage, there is not a word I can say to express how painful it is."

Niles wished his parents' could've just been happier for him, but he decided that he wasn't going to let his parents ruin what was about to be the happiest day of his life.

Matilda said she loved Niles more than anything in the world and she was scared because she'd clearly have no support from Niles' family in America. This made Matilda question if moving to America would be the right thing for her to do.

FAITH and LOREN

Loren betrayed Faith again by allegedly flirting with a drag queen at a nightclub. Faith's feelings were hurt, but Loren didn't think he had done anything wrong.

"This makes me question myself and if Loren truly loves me," Faith explained in a confessional.


Loren explained to Faith how her friend must have told her about an interaction he had outside of the club with a woman and not a drag queen.

Loren recalled how a man had approached him to say that his friend thought Loren was cute. Loren claimed he had gently turned the woman down and told her that she was too young for him and that he was taken.

Loren said he had put a hand on this woman's cheek when turning her down and so Faith's friends -- who were standing across the street at the time -- must have jumped to conclusions about what they thought they saw.

Faith thought it was one problem after the next with Loren, and so she asked him if he was being real and true to her.

"We're on thin ice. Why on earth would I do that?" Loren asked Faith, referring to flirting with another person right in front of her friends.

Faith admitted it was hard for her to believe what Loren was saying because he hadn't been honest with her in the past. Faith said it bothered her that Loren was such a big flirt, and so Loren apologized for that.


Loren assured Faith that he loved her and he was sorry for hurting her again.

"Is this so much that you can't get over it?" Loren asked.

"Maybe next time you won't do that," Faith said.

"No more flirtatious touching or anything," Loren promised.

Loren told Faith that once they got married, he'd be totally off limits. Loren also only had a few days left in the Philippines, and so he wanted the rest of their time together to be fun.

Loren didn't want Faith to give up on him, and his emotions made Faith feel like he really cared about her.


Faith, however, still wasn't sure if she'd ever fully be able to trust Loren.
