'90 Day Fiance' recap: Rayne breaks Chidi's heart, Ingrid shuts Brian down, Faith takes Loren back

90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days featured Rayne dumping Chidi and leaving him "heartbroken," Brian and Ingrid having an argument during their first sexual encounter, Faith giving Loren another chance, and the introduction of Vanja and Bozo during the Season 7 episode that aired Sunday night on TLC.


90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' seventh season stars eight new couples who are convinced they found true love.

The eight couples include Tigerlily, a 41-year-old from Texas, and Adnan, a 23-year-old from Jordan; Rayne, a 38-year-old from New Mexico, and Chidi, a 34-year-old from Nigeria; Loren, a 33-year-old from Nevada, and Faith, a 31-year-old from the Philippines; and Niles, a 28-year-old from Alabama, and Matilda, a 23-year-old from Ghana.

The rest of the new Season 7 couples are Joe, a 34-year-old from Florida, and Magda, a 23-year-old from Poland; Brian, a 52-year-old from Illinois, and Ingrid, a 33-year-old from Brazil; Veah, a 27-year-old from Florida, and Sunny, a 26-year-old from South Africa; and Vanja, a 41-year-old from Florida, and Bozo, a 38-year-old from Croatia.


Like 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' prior seasons, the seventh season will follow Americans who began online romantic relationships with foreign partners as they travel overseas hoping to get engaged to someone they have never met in person and then begin the K-1 Visa immigration process.

Along the way, the Americans will encounter challenges that include large age gaps, language barriers, cultural issues, and questionable pasts as they travel to a list of countries that includes Nigeria, Philippines, Ghana, Poland, Brazil, Jordan, South Africa, and Croatia to meet their online partners for the first time.

Below is what happened on Episode 7 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' seventh season on TLC.

TIGERLILY and ADNAN

Adnan took Tigerlily to Petra, also known as the Rose City, in Jordan. It's a beautiful place that Adnan couldn't wait to show his new wife, but Tigerlily was crying and upset because she thought Adnan had been controlling and hypocritical.

Not only did Adnan get mad at Tigerlily for taking too long to get ready earlier that morning, but he also communicated with women in a way that Tigerlily was not allowed to.


Tigerlily said she was trying hard to follow Adnan's rules but she didn't appreciate how the rules didn't seem to apply to him and there was clearly a double standard.

Tigerlily told the cameras that if Adnan didn't follow the rules, she wasn't going to either.

Adnan apologized to Tigerlily after being called out for his behavior, and Tigerlily decided to forgive him. However, Tigerlily had a feeling this argument was going to be brought up again at a later date.

"I can tell he loves me and cares about me. He's my husband, and that's what matters," Tigerlily concluded.

Tigerlily's glam squad, Shay and Cruz, noted how the couple seemed happy at the moment but it was going to be difficult for them to work through their cultural differences.


Tigerlily and Adnan ultimately rode a camel together, and Tigerlily said she enjoyed the experience.

Tigerlily and Adnan then had an emotional goodbye, as they were going to have to spend time apart waiting for Adnan's visa to be approved.

RAYNE and CHIDI

Rayne was shown packing up her belongings because she planned to stay in a hotel for the rest of her visit. Rayne was feeling uncomfortable around Chidi's sister, and she wanted Chidi to prove his love to her.

Rayne hoped Chidi would join her at the hotel, but she accused him of coming up with "lame" excuses, which she found "humiliating" since she had traveled across the world to be with him.

Chidi explained to the cameras how his faith was important to him and he didn't want to be tempted to have sex with Rayne. Chidi told Rayne that he didn't want to lose her, but Rayne said that she was "looking for a man" -- one who would make his "own decisions" and not be swayed by others.

Chidi asked Rayne how moving out was going to help their relationship, and Rayne explained how she felt like an outsider in the house and she needed space from his family.

"I feel like an intruder in your pants and an intruder in your house," Rayne snapped at her man, before claiming that Chidi's sister was trying to control him.

Rayne flipped out on Chidi and yelled at him, and Chidi came to the conclusion that Rayne had problems "deeply rooted" inside of her and it wasn't his sister's fault.

But Rayne had been hoping Chidi would defend her and stick up for her. Rayne yelled at Chidi's sister for hating her and treating her poorly, but Chidi's sister insisted that she just didn't appreciate Rayne cussing her brother out.


After Rayne yelled at Chidi's sister for being mean to her, Chidi's sister called her "delusional."

Rayne said she "always had a feeling" something bad was going to happen with Chidi's sister and that this argument proved her right.

Chidi said it was "hard to witness that level of anger and hatred" from Rayne and he didn't really understand why she was so angry and loud.

Chidi claimed that he still loved Rayne but didn't know what to do in this critical moment.

"I want to move on with my life, and I don't want to fight. I love you and I always will. I wish the best for you, Chidi, but I am done," Rayne concluded. "You will never see me again."

Chidi admitted that Rayne walking out that door made him feel "sick" and "sad." He couldn't believe Rayne had reacted that way, but his family was there to comfort and support him.


Chidi didn't think it was fair of Rayne to make him choose between her and his family, and he called himself "heartbroken."

Rayne cried about how she was in so much pain but was sick of people getting in her way of happiness. Rayne felt like nothing she did was ever enough.

MATILDA and MILES

After a year of waiting to be together, Miles had finally arrived in Ghana, and Matilda gushed about how she was "very happy" to have the man she loved by her side.

The couple's first night together, however, didn't go as Matilda had hoped. Miles apparently got sick from the food and refused to have sex with Matilda.

Miles explained to the cameras how "somebody needed to be responsible," but Matilda was clearly disappointed and upset about being rejected.

Miles explained to Matilda how he had sex with his ex-girlfriend, who then allegedly became very possessive of him. Miles told the cameras how his prior relationship became about sex and he couldn't "do six rounds every single day."


Miles said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Matilda and their relationship wasn't going to be 100 percent in the bedroom forever.

Matilda, who gushed about her love for Miles, therefore agreed to get married before having sex, and Miles flashed a big smile of relief.

Matilda and Miles then went to the beach together and enjoyed some quality alone time.

Matilda informed Miles that he had to do "the knocking ceremony" in which he'd seek permission from her family to wed. Miles would then have to pay a bride price and bring her family goods that they desired.

Miles then took Matilda shopping for a dress. He worried that Matilda thought he was rich, when he wasn't, but he decided to buy her an $80 dress to lighten the blow he was going to postpone their wedding. Miles had yet to deliver the bad news, so he hoped spoiling Matilda a bit would help.

While Matilda was getting a pedicure, Miles entered a store and looked at engagement rings.

"I know I proposed to Matilda over the phone, but I feel the need to do this in person. When I present this ring to her, it may be a good idea to tell her that we need to postpone the wedding," Miles explained, adding how the ring would hopefully diminish some of Matilda's anger at that point.

VANJA and BOZO

Vanja, a 41-year-old from Orlando, FL, was shown belly dancing for a crowd. She said she loved dressing up in beautiful costumes and performing for people, which made her feel full of life and energy.

In addition to dancing, Vanja is a makeup artist, vegan baker, and medical sales representative. Vanja said she worked day and night but she didn't mind it because she had her own house and car.

Vanja, however, called her dating life "a sh-tshow." Vanja thought she had met the man of her dreams 11 years ago and they got engaged, but she caught her partner making out with another woman on his couch.

"I figured out that the whole relationship was a lie. He literally led a double life. So that came as a complete shock, and it has been super hard to bounce back," Vanja explained.


Vanja therefore took a trip to Bosnia to reconnect with her people and culture, and after making many stops, she ended up in Split and found "absolute perfection" on a dating app. Vanja stumbled across Bozo, a professional basketball player whom she called "very hot."

Vanja said she and Bozo started talking and FaceTiming, and she loved how this man made her laugh.

Vanja wanted to see where this relationship could go once she met Bozo in real life, but Vanja's friends were worried she was going to get hurt again because Bozo had messed up in the past.

A few months into their relationship, Vanja was planning a trip to visit him in Croatia but then he stopped communicating and suddenly broke up with her. Bozo told her at the time that he was seeing someone else, and Vanja said it completely rocked her world and devastated her.

However, Bozo ended that romance and went crawling back to Vanja, who decided to give him another chance.

Vanja said it was hard to find a man whom she really liked and so she wasn't going to let Bozo go without a fight. Vanja desired answers and intended to put Bozo on the spot, but she really wanted to be with him.


"At this point, I feel like we are in a good place. He has shown me that he's about this and wants to pursue this and see where it goes," Vanja explained, adding how Bozo had been dedicated and responsive.

"I feel things again, and I feel it because of him... I hope this is just a blip in our story of love."

Vanja admitted that if Bozo dumped her again, she probably wouldn't be able to recover.

In the sex department, Vanja said she needed to have feelings for a man and be connected to him. She hadn't had sex for years, as a result, and so she looked forward to maybe having that type of relationship with Bozo.

Vanja revealed how her childhood was very stressful and traumatic because there was war in Bosnia. She went months living in a basement with very little food as bombs were dropped, but Vanja gushed about being a "survivor" who was ready for love and a happy ending.

"When you experience that near-death feeling, it completely changes how you think and how you feel... You take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way," Vanja explained.


Vanja said Bozo was everything she had been looking for in a guy and she deserved to have a good partner by her side.

The day of Vanja's trip to Croatia then arrived, and she gushed how Bozo was the man whom she was meant to be with. Vanja wore heels to the airport and was so excited, but when she called him to say, "Hello," before boarding, Bozo didn't answer his phone.

Vanja repeatedly called Bozo despite their six-hour time difference, and this made her feel scared.

"I have a bad feeling about the fact I've been reaching out all day... [but] he won't pick up the phone," Vanja said in tears.

In the past, Bozo had allegedly ignored her calls only to eventually tell her that there was someone else in the picture. Vanja could only hope that Bozo was going to be in the airport waiting for her once she landed in Croatia, and that they'd have a beautiful future together.

BRIAN and INGRID

Ingrid was about to introduce Brian to her friends. Brian worried the meeting was going to be a bit stressful and he wouldn't fit in with her social circle, but Ingrid had prepared her friends to meet a man in a wheelchair and was optimistic about the meet and greet.


Ingrid's friends were still "really surprised" about Brian's age and physical condition, and they feared the relationship was going to be complicated and difficult for Ingrid.

Ingrid revealed to her friends how she and Brian hadn't had sex yet, and Brian admitted he was used to sleeping with women -- specifically Brazilian women -- on the first night.

This was new information to Ingrid and it apparently caught her off-guard. Ingrid could tell that Brian had changed and wanted something serious, but she didn't like hearing about his promiscuous past.

When questioned about having sex with Brian, Ingrid told her pals, "There is a time for everything, but he has passed the stages... [He's been] approved."

Brian was hoping to be intimate with Ingrid that night, but he acknowledged how there was "a lot of pressure" because Ingrid never had sex with a man who needs a wheelchair before.

That night in a hotel room, Brian gifted Ingrid red lingerie, and Ingrid came to the conclusion that she was ready to give sex with Brian a try.


"I don't even know if this will work," Ingrid quipped.

Once Ingrid put the lingerie on, Brian called her "beautiful" and he massaged her legs to try to get her in the mood. Brian said kissing and rubbing lotion on Ingrid was "amazing" and exactly what he wanted it to be.

Shortly after production left the room, Brian and Ingrid apparently got into a big argument. Brian explained to the cameras how he tried to give Ingrid attention off-camera but he didn't have a condom.

Ingrid therefore shut everything down and didn't even allow Brian to give her oral sex, which hurt his feelings and made him feel rejected.

Ingrid claimed that when she simply asked Brian to wait a little longer to have sex, he grew upset and stormed out of the room.

Brian wondered if something else was going on since Ingrid turned down oral sex, like maybe she wasn't attracted to him, and Ingrid acknowledged how she felt too much pressure.

FAITH and LOREN

After many long hours of waiting, Faith agreed to finally speak with Loren, who had been intimate with other women when they were together. Faith felt betrayed and said her trust was broken and he may never be able to fix that.

Faith found Loren's Gonorrhea diagnosis "alarming," and she wasn't sure if she wanted to proceed with their relationship.

Loren told Faith that he had probably slept with one woman a week. Loren claimed that he thought Faith knew all along that he had been sleeping with other people, but she was totally shocked by the news.

Loren explained to Faith how he was "sorry" he had cheated on her and he didn't want to sleep with anybody else again.

"I don't know what to do," Faith replied.

Loren said he wanted to be monogamous with Faith and be her boyfriend, and maybe even her fiance one day.


After Loren promised Faith that he'd be committed to her going forward and wouldn't hurt her again, Faith reluctantly decided to give him another chance and continue dating him.

Faith said she loved Loren a lot, but she confessed, "Right now, I feel like I don't know him."
