Ari and Biniyam first appeared on Seasons 2 and 3 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way and have a child together named Avi.

90 Day Fiance features Americans who have fallen in love with foreigners bringing their fiances to the United States on K-1 visas.

However, once the couple is in America together, the American must marry their overseas partner within the 90-day period allowed by the visa or the foreigner has to return to their home country.

"The pressure is on and with travel guidelines more challenging than ever, there's even more at stake with these international love stories," TLC teased of the new season.

"Couples aren't just navigating unique lifestyle and cultural changes when arriving in America -- many of them must also adjust to parenthood and nontraditional family lifestyles. And while absence makes the heart grow fonder, personalities and temperaments have changed and not always for the best."

Below is what happened on Episode 10 of 90 Day Fiance's ninth season.

KOBE and EMILY

The couple was already halfway through their 90 days, and they were planning their wedding. Kobe didn't want to spend too much money on their wedding, but Emily wanted the wedding of her dreams and said she wasn't about having o sacrifice anything.

Emily wanted good food, beautiful flowers and the perfect venue for her big day, but Kobe felt pressure to take care of his son and future wife financially.

Emily was then shown going wedding dress shopping with her mother, sister and grandmother. Emily had been anticipating this special moment her entire life. Emily put on a strapless dress and pictured her horse and carriage driving her around, but her mother noted how she had some growing up to do.

Emily's mother thought Emily needed to put more effort into growing her relationship rather than this wedding, and she just hoped her daughter was not rushing things and truly felt ready to wed.

Emily fell in love with an off-the-shoulder dress just under a thousand dollars, but she mentioned how she still wanted a nix wedding from Kobe. In fact, she had been "hinting or telling" him to look at rings.

"I don't feel like I'm high maintenance… I just like what I like and I don't want anything less than that," Emily said in a confessional.

Emily then revealed she had bought herself a nice one carat ring as a "backup" option with her own money since she'll need to wear it forever.

She loved the ring she had chosen for herself and wished Kobe would find one she loved more, but her loved ones complained that Emily may have ruined this moment for Kobe and emasculated him.

JIBRI AND MIONA

Jibri felt torn between making new music with his band and making Miona happy and feel like his priority, especially since Miona was demanding an expensive beach wedding right away.

Jibri felt tired and overwhelmed, and he was shown meeting up with his parents at a restaurant for a chat.

Jibri's parents weren't sure they'd be able to take a couple days off from work to travel for his last-minute or spontaneous wedding in Chicago, and they blamed Jibri's lack of organization and planning.

Jibri's mother Mahala called the whole thing "upsetting" because she had wanted to be a part of her son's wedding. She could also tell that Jibri appeared stressed and unlike his normal bubbly, passionate self.

"I just feel like I'm in a waiting room right now and the doors are closing in," Jibri explained.

Mahala said she was concerned about Miona essentially running Jibri's life and preventing him from having good communication with his parents. She accused Miona of beeping into her phone call with her son about nine times.

"That feels controlling, and you are not the type of person who wants to be controlled," Mahala admitted.

Jibri confessed that if he had more time, he'd postpone the wedding -- but he didn't feel he had that luxury.

Mahala wished Jibri would listen to himself and his heart and stop being so worried "about the blow-back from Miona." Mahala feared her son's marriage wasn't going to be healthy.

Mahala wanted to see her son with a woman who would make him feel happy, supported and fulfilled, and she was clearly sad and disappointed about having to miss Jibri's wedding.

She never thought she'd see the day, and she seemed to blame Miona for it all.

With 39 days left to wed, Jibri opened up to Miona about how he was feeling. Jibri said he felt immense pressure and stress as well as "conflicting emotions," and Miona seemed ready and willing to listen.

Miona had been noticing that Jibri was acting distant from her, and so she was nervous. Jibri shared how his parents were worried about him, and Miona said she didn't feel like she had the support of his parents. Miona felt she had respected Mahala even in the face of her alleged "stupid comments."

Miona said Mahala had criticized her clothing, cooking and more. Miona believed Jibri's parents were trying to influence him and he needed to step away from them and "act like a man" if he wanted their relationship to succeed.

"With her attitude towards me, I don't have a need to get closer to her," Miona said of Jibri's mother. "I don't have any mean intentions. I don't know what else I'm supposed to do."

Miona said she was absolutely fine with Jibri's parents not attending their wedding, but Jibri admitted he wasn't okay with that at all.

Miona told Jibri to focus on them if he wanted them to work out, and he said if their relationship was going to continue being the same, then he didn't want it to work out.

"If you're going to be stubborn and in your way, like, 'I want a wedding and I don't want to talk to your mom' and you don't care to have that relationship, that is a big f-cking red flag for me," Jibri vented.

Jibri said he'd prefer to get married at a later date when they'd have more funds and be more financially stable. Miona admitted she would leave Jibri's ass if he wanted to do that to her and postpone their wedding.

Miona said she would never go back to Serbia and continue dating Jibri long-distance. She thought Jibri was being very selfish and going back on their plans.

"He needs to grow up," Miona told the cameras, adding how Jibri's parents got inside his head like a teenager.

PATRICK and THAIS

Thais wasn't exactly thrilled with living in a house with Patrick's brother John in Dallas, and so Patrick agreed to take her shopping for decorations. Thais wanted to make the house feel like more of a home with more pops of color and feminine touches.

However, Patrick and Thais quickly realized that they have different taste. Patrick gravitated towards white, black and gray, while Thais looked at more colorful objects and wanted to buy an expensive sofa and table.

Patrick admitted that he didn't like spending money on home decor, especially since he already spent $10,000 on Thais and had to pay for their upcoming wedding as well.

When Patrick ultimately agreed to buy a blue and green vase, Thais admitted she was upset because the purchase was minimal and she didn't feel like Patrick really cared about her or her feelings.

"I don't think that's true. I don't care about the decorations on the wall," Patrick told his fiancee.

Thais said Patrick was a sweet, giving and patient person in Brazil and she was seeing a different man in the United States. She dubbed him "controlling" and found the alleged different versions of Patrick concerning. Thais noted how she was afraid of what was going to happen next.

Thais complained about how Patrick liked to control their relationship and they went shopping for "nothing." Patrick told Thais that they could buy more decorations in the future, but Thais reiterated how decorations were important to her.

"Okay, well then you can go buy them... when you have your own money," Patrick told Thais.

"You never talk to me like this," Thais complained.

Patrick said he wasn't used to caring for someone and paying for her all the time. Patrick said since he was the one making the money, he'd have "the bigger say on how it's spent."

Thais wasn't sure how much money Patrick made, but he just told her that he made "enough." He didn't think Thais needed to know how much money he had, but Thais pointed out how she was about to become his wife and needed to know everything about him.

Patrick said he had paid for Thais' eyebrows, nails, eyelashes and clothes, and she snapped back at him, "That's your job!"

Patrick admitted he was struggling to trust Thais, especially with money and finances, probably because of how he had grown up. He didn't think Thais needed to know every little detail when he was taking care of everything.

"It's my money. You'll know once you're my wife," Patrick told Thais.

"I can't be your wife. You are a very strange person," Thais replied.

"Okay, you just don't get it," Patrick countered. "We have money, trust me."

Thais asked Patrick to show her his accounts, and then he got angry and threw a credit card and cash at Thais and told her to go buy a painting. Thais called Patrick's behavior horrible and disrespectful, and she said no woman deserves this type of treatment, anywhere in the world.

Thais stormed away from Patrick and said she was done with the conversation.

Once Thais cooled down, she told the cameras that her father had been right.

"He thinks that Americans just want to take advantage of Brazilian women, that they want to buy us with money, and his behavior is making me worried," Thais told the cameras. "That's not how a man should treat a woman. That's not respectful."

Thais just wanted Patrick to share with her and stop keeping her in the dark; she said their fight wasn't about money. Thais explained how she's not a pretty statue in a relationship where Patrick could just decide everything and dictate things to her.

Thais asked to be included in all of Patrick's decisions, and she asked him to try to be better.

Patrick agreed to be more open and vulnerable with Thais, but he explained how that wouldn't come easily for him.

BILAL and SHAEEDA

With 60 days left to wed, Bilal and Shaeeda, who had been feeling tension and arguing quite a bit, decided to visit Bilal's sister Nefertari in Atlanta so she could help Shaeeda with the wedding plans.

Nefertari took Shaeeda shopping for a wedding dress, and Shaeeda said it had been wonderful getting to know Bilal's sister.

The women got along fabulously, and Shaeeda said Nefertari is a successful fashion designer who would help her pick out the perfect gown.

Shaeeda selected a conservative white dress with long sleeves and a mermaid-style flare at the bottom. She told Nefertari, however, how she and Bilal had been having some problems and needed to work through things before getting married.

Shaeeda explained how Bilal tended to lecture her and throw things back in her face if she ever attempted to address one of her concerns or complaints. Shaeeda said she had traveled thousands of miles to be with Bilal and one of their main issues was Bilal's alleged wishy-washy response to having children together.

"I'm not going to waste my time with someone who doesn't want kids," Shaeeda said.

Nefertari realized Bilal, whom she said wants kids but on his own timeline, was between a rock and a hard place. Nefertari worried about Shaeeda's ultimatum for her brother, and Shaeeda also complained that Bilal didn't seem to trust her fully.

Nefertari said Bilal wanted to protect his family and do things the right way, and Nefertari began to fear this was going to be Shaeeda's third broken engagement and Bilal may get hurt.

Bilal then brought Shaeeda to a Ferris wheel in Atlanta so she could see the city from high above. Shaeeda was a little scared, especially because there was glass underneath their feet.

While in the air, Bilal brought up their "marriage contract" or prenuptial agreement.

Shaeeda was in "complete shock" over the idea because she had informed Bilal that a prenup is not for her. She didn't even know that Bilal was still thinking about a prenuptial agreement, nevermind the fact Bilal had already spoken with a lawyer and had him draft a copy.

Bilal realized this was the wrong time to bring it up, and Shaeeda was upset they couldn't have a love story without a prenuptial agreement between them.

"Marriage is compromising, but also, marriage is a business," Bilal told Shaeeda. "Everything that I'm doing is completely okay."

"No," Shaeeda disagreed. "I can see there's no backing down from this prenuptial agreement."

Bilal just wanted Shaeeda to agree to certain terms, but Shaeeda didn't view the contract as something positive. She didn't think Bilal trusted her, and she didn't like her marriage feeling like a transaction.

Shaeeda planned to build a marriage and survive under all circumstances, so she didn't know how to react to this news.

Bilal proceeded to surprise Shaeeda with a horse and carriage ride through the city. He said he loved being romantic, but Shaeeda was quiet and thinking about the prenuptial agreement in the back of her mind.

Shaeeda asked to look at the contract again, and she noticed how there was no mention of their future children. Shaeeda said it looked like Bilal was protecting himself and his assets, and she didn't feel like Bilal trusted her and would always take care of her.

Shaeeda felt like she was being punished for what Bilal had gone through in the past, and she told Bilal that she didn't think a prenuptial agreement was necessary for them.

Bilal wondered what was going on and why Shaeeda would want to take everything that he has. Bilal said if Shaeeda didn't sign the contract, he couldn't see them getting to the finish line.

ARIELA and BINIYAM

With 69 days to wed, Biniyam wanted to be focused on his upcoming fight, but he and Ariela had argued about Biniyam training with an attractive woman at the gym.

Biniyam said he was pissed off because Ariela had embarrassed him and he didn't want this type of thing to happen again. Biniyam insisted there was nothing wrong with working with a female, but Ariela was also upset.

"Looking back, maybe I could've handled the situation differently, but I just reacted... It's just something no one ever wants to see," Ariela explained in a confessional.

Ariela said Biniyam should have communicated with her better and informed her that he had been training with a woman. Ariela said Biniyam was never "100 percent honest about things," adding, "You can't not tell me things because you think I'm going to get mad."

Ariela asked Biniyam to be honest and tell her the truth all the time, and so Biniyam agreed to work on that. However, he asked Ariela not to fight with him so that he could focus on his workout and first fight in America.

Ariela felt a lot of stress about Biniyam's pending career and their 90 days together, but Biniyam begged Ariela to support his dream and how much this fight really meant to him.

"I wish Biniyam's priority would be our relationship. I feel like his attention is elsewhere and the relationship comes second. I wish that this MMA thing wasn't his dream," Ariela shared in a confessional.

Ariela was also afraid Biniyam might get injured, which she noted would be the worst-case scenario.

It then became time for Biniyam's first fight, and Ariela was very nervous. Ariela's father, a doctor, refused to watch the fight since Biniyam could get seriously hurt or even die.

Biniyam couldn't promise Ariela that everything was going to be okay, and Ariela wished she could ask her fiance not to fight. There was apparently nothing Ariela could say to make Biniyam drop out of the fight.

Biniyam was so happy and kept repeating in his mind that he needed to win. MMA fighting was his passion and his No. 1 dream, but he knew this was going to be unlike anything he had ever experienced in Ethiopia.

Ariela was a mess watching Biniyam fight in the ring, but she cheered him on with her mother Janice in the audience. In the end, Biniyam was victorious and soaked up applause from the crowd.

KARA and GUILLERMO

Kara was shown meeting up with her friend Tim for drinks, and she was disappointed Guillermo didn't want to join her. Instead, Guillermo did laundry at home by himself.

Tim said Kara is a crazy, fun person whom people always want to be around, and Kara opened up about her "hectic" life and new real estate career.

"We're practicing making babies," Kara told Tim.

Guillermo had to wait six to nine months to receive a work permit, and Kara was also concerned about Guillermo's desire to have a big and expensive traditional wedding.

Tim was surprised Kara was looking to settle down and get married because she had always been so free and spontaneous, and he also seemed taken aback by Kara's decision to date someone more quiet and conservative.

"I just wish that he would be more aggressive and a bit more 'put me in my place,'" Kara said. "But in the bedroom it's fine."

Kara said she had the tendency to steamroll people and didn't want to do that to Guillermo, but Tim didn't think Kara would like pushback and resistance at all if it actually happened.

Kara was tired of people questioning her every decision since college because it's "against the norm," but Tim pointed out how Kara had a lot of risk in her future and marriage was not going to be an adventure she could easily dump or back out of.

Tim predicted Kara's relationship was going to be messy, and he wasn't convinced Kara and Guillermo will still be together in five years. Regardless, Kara called herself "a betting woman" and seemed confident in her choices thus far.
