Since Yazan couldn't move to America due to undisclosed circumstances, Brittany decided to move to Jordan so she and Yazan could begin a life together.
Yazan believed Brittany would change for him and convert to Islam. He wanted the aspiring rapper and model to behave like a Muslim woman in his home country and dress the part, but Brittany didn't plan on toning down her personality and sexy style for anyone.

"I'm such an independent person. I have my own thoughts and feelings... I am definitely going to corrupt him!" Brittany said on the show, adding that she had no intention of changing herself for a man.
Yazan also wanted to marry right away, within a matter of weeks, but he was unaware Brittany was still technically married and had yet to finalize her divorce from her former husband.
When Brittany and Yazan finally reunited in Jordan, they had a few heated disagreements.
Yazan put Brittany on blast for hugging a 90 Day Fiance crew member and carrying around a container of tequila in her luggage, and Brittany accused Yazan of being a controlling, disrespectful jerk.
"You don't love me because you don't change yourself," Yazan told his girlfriend.

Yazan's parents also wanted Brittany to delete her social-media accounts so people wouldn't think she's "a prostitute" and get married right away. Yazan's mother even told Brittany to "forget" her American family because she'd become a part of their family after marriage.
Brittany agreed to learn more about Islam, but she felt so much pressure that didn't exist at the beginning of her relationship with Yazan.
When Brittany threatened to return to the United States, Yazan ultimately agreed not to force anything on Brittany and give her some time.
But another huge fight sparked when a member of Yazan's family saw a picture of Brittany on her Instagram account in which she was posing by a Florida pool with a friend in skimpy bikinis.

Yazan allegedly flipped out over Brittany's photo, and Brittany called Yazan "insecure" and "weak as f-ck."
Brittany told the cameras that she wasn't going to let Yazan and his family "bully" her into deleting her Instagram account and becoming a different person.
"We still have a lot of obstacles to face in our relationship... but I am willing to do some work... What's a relationship without a little crazy?!" Brittany said.
Brittany later returned to the United States feeling "mentally drained" to settle her divorce from her first marriage to her high school boyfriend, whom she had split from a couple years prior.
Brittany was shocked to discover no documents had been uploaded in the clerk's office about her divorce and so she had to refile the paperwork and stay in America longer.

Yazan was told Brittany was just visiting her sister's baby, but he was suspicious of her whereabouts.
Meanwhile, Yazan's father apparently told Yazan that Brittany had been lying to him and didn't really want to marry him. Yazan believed in his heart, however, Brittany wasn't playing him and that she loved him.
"I told him next time... we are going to sign the papers and we're going to continue [with marriage]. My dad said, 'If you want the girl, don't work. Go marry her, don't work with me. Show yourself out,'" Yazan told a friend.
"He kicked me out of the house. He fired me from my job. I spent the first day at my uncle's. After that, I had to stay on the street for two days. Then I rented an apartment and looked for work. I don't talk to anyone. I spend time alone."
Yazan said this was the most difficult time of his life, especially in light of being fired from the fish market.
"I don't know how to move things forward at all," Yazan lamented. "I feel that I have lost everything in my world. This is the first time in my life that I feel helpless... This is the first time I feel weak."
Yazan hadn't spoken to Brittany and he said he didn't understand why. Yazan felt he had lost his family and Brittany as well, and he didn't know what to do.
Yazan had to explain to Brittany that he was struggling financially and didn't even have money to eat.

"I felt like she is living in another world or that she doesn't care about me at all," Yazan griped. "There is no one at all. If she's really saying she loves me, she's supposed to understand what I'm going through."
Yazan began to worry that his parents had been correct all along in their suspicions and concerns about Brittany, which was bothering him the most.

During her stay in the United States, Brittany asked Yazan to prove he's an independent man by securing a place for the two of them and making enough money to buy her a plane ticket to return to Jordan.
Yazan revealed to Brittany via FaceTime he was working a lot to save money -- like 14 hours per day -- by driving a taxi and working at a barber shop. Yazan said he changed a lot within himself because he really loved her and wanted to be with her.
Brittany could tell Yazan was becoming his "own man" and a responsible adult, and she said that's all she wanted for him.
Brittany argued that she didn't need a millionaire and just wanted Yazan to provide stability -- not a private jet or yacht or shopping spree, which were things she was used to.
Brittany's divorce was later finalized, but Yazan was flip-flopping by demanding Brittany must change for him again.
"I don't know what I'm supposed to believe anymore," Brittany griped. "Before I [go back to Jordan], Yazan needs to show me that he's mature and that he is not going to fall to the pressures of his parents and his family."
Brittany didn't want to make the same mistake of "picking the wrong guy" again, and she admittedly felt "suffocated" in her relationship with Yazan.
Brittany said she fell in love with Yazan because he was so different and had portrayed himself as a feminist. Brittany said Yazan was no longer the man she had fallen in love with and she didn't want a "toxic" relationship.

Later, Yazan learned his father was threatening to kill him if he married Brittany as Yazan's relationship with her was "humiliating" and bringing "dishonor" upon his family.
"I want you to get to him and tell him, 'If you marry her, your father will kill you,'" Yazan's dad Ziad told Yazan's brother Obaida.
"Dad, no," Obaida replied.

"I'm telling you, and I'm warning you. I swear, tell Yazan if he doesn't reconsider, I will be his murderer," Ziad added.
Obaida later broke the bad news to Yazan, who appeared to be in shock and disbelief over his father's anger.
In the meantime, Brittany was planning her return to Jordan. However, as she was on her way to the airport, she received phone messages from Yazan in which he blamed her for a car accident he had just suffered.
Yazan left Brittany a voicemail screaming about needing to spend $1,000 to fix his car, and she was fed up. The pair fought and called each other "selfish" and Brittany argued Yazan had done nothing for her.
Brittany told the cameras it was becoming clear to her that Yazan might never change, adding, "I'm not getting on that flight. Period."
Brittany said she was tired of putting up with her "broke ass," "dusty ass," "narcissistic mama's boy" boyfriend.
Yazan said he blamed Brittany for the accident because he had called his girlfriend five or six times only to be ignored, which led him to texting her while driving and then the accident.
Yazan claimed he had sent Brittany the pictures of his car in order to receive comfort but Brittany had done nothing but hurt his feelings.
At the last minute, Brittany decided to fly to Jordan and just spend time with her girlfriend Angela, whom she planned to meet. Brittany settled on the fact her trip would become "a girls' trip" and she wouldn't even meet up with Yazan.
After 18 hours of travel, Brittany finally landed in Jordan. Brittany admitted she was missing Yazan a little bit on her flight but then her "logical mind" took over and told her to stop thinking about him.
Although Brittany ignored his messages and calls, Yazan went to the airport to pick her up because he said he still loved her. The pair, however, couldn't find each other at the airport and totally missed one another.
"It's impossible that she didn't see me. Maybe I was an idiot. I shouldn't have come anyway," Yazan noted.

"I am fighting my family for Brittany. I don't know, I am feeling that my family is right."

Angela thought Brittany was just guarding her heart and dismissed Yazan's problems as a defense mechanism.
When Brittany and Yazan finally FaceTimed, Brittany insisted she never saw him or heard from him at the airport. Brittany told Yazan to take responsibility for his actions and just "act f-cking right" as Yazan attempted to shout over her.
Later on, Brittany and Angela went out to dinner together and Brittany noticed everyone was staring at them. She said it finally made sense why Yazan always wanted her to cover up when in public.
"I don't want him to feel like I'm expecting him to be perfect; there's just some things I really need him to work on, and I need him to be serious about it," Brittany told her pal. "Building a life together is serious."

Brittany said she had "a weak spot for Yazan," and so she let him pick the girls up at the bar downtown. Brittany just wanted to make sure they were on the same page, and Yazan insisted he wanted Brittany to stay in Jordan and marry him.
"Are you still thinking I'm going to convert to be Muslim?" Brittany asked.
"It's okay. I don't care for right now," Yazan replied.
"Do we have to get married right away or can we wait?" Brittany questioned.
"Why you want to wait?" Yazan asked.
"Just for us to know each other better and make sure we have a good relationship first... just one year," Brittany explained.
"I love you and I want to be, like, happy, so yeah," Yazan responded. "I wait. Yeah, I think that is a good idea."
But Yazan broke the news he didn't want to wait one or two years to get married. He said he couldn't have "a girlfriend" for that long because it would make God angry at him.
Yazan stood by the fact, however, Brittany wouldn't need to covert to his religion for him.
Yazan said Brittany not becoming a Muslim woman would be a problem for his parents but problems already existed with his family and nothing would change that.
Yazan told Brittany that he wanted to wed within one month, and a part of Brittany was "boiling" inside because she didn't want that type of pressure on her.

Brittany admitted she was scared and wanted Yazan to tell his family that Brittany was never going to convert and they planned to do their relationship their way.
Yazan explained standing up to his parents would be "dangerous" but all he cared about was her.
Since Brittany was feeling confused about the happenings in Yazan's life, he hired a translator so the pair could communicate without a language barrier.
Yazan told Brittany that he knew she loved him but he needed for her to trust him -- and he needed to be able to trust her in return.
Yazan said he planned to confront his family about marrying Brittany and the fact she wanted to remain a Christian.
Yazan figured his parents would "disown" him after that conversation, and Brittany was upset because she wanted her future husband to have a relationship with his family.
Yazan said he'd sacrifice anything for them to be together but he didn't want to lose everything in his life if Brittany wasn't sure about spending the rest of her life with him.
Yazan explained that he wanted to marry as fast as possible because he didn't want to lose Brittany, who asked for more time to think because she wasn't ready to rush into a wedding.
Yazan didn't receive the clear answer he needed, and he was getting frustrated because he said everything he had sacrificed for Brittany wasn't paying off. Yazan didn't want to tell Brittany how bad things were with his parents because it might scare her off.
Brittany wasn't sure she could always expect the truth from Yazan, and she wondered if this was just a tactic to get her to walk down the aisle sooner. However, she didn't want Yazan to be disowned by his parents, and so was beginning to understand why Yazan wasn't standing up to his parents.
"He's under a lot of pressure from his family, so his sketchy and dodgy behavior makes a lot more sense now," Brittany acknowledged.
Brittany therefore intended to meet with Yazan's brother Obaida and the translator, Adam, for a serious talk since Obaida speaks Arabic.

Brittany told Yazan's brother that she wanted to be with Yazan but didn't feel comfortable marrying him if the family was against their relationship and didn't approve.

Obaida didn't know how to respond, saying he felt "scared" for Yazan because the family was not accepting of the situation and Yazan's desire to marry a foreigner. Yazan's family didn't want to see him change his traditions and customs for a woman from a different religion and culture.
The translator said Yazan's family viewed his choices as being very wrong and some people in the family genuinely hated him.
"It might get to the point where they decide to kill him," Adam told Brittany, adding that Yazan's decision would affect not only himself but the entire family.
With that being said, Brittany broke down into tears and appeared speechless. Brittany knew how much Yazan loved his family, so she felt awful and couldn't contain her emotions.

Obaida comforted Brittany, who said she didn't want Yazan to lose his brother and parents. Obaida promised to stand by Yazan no matter what because he knew Yazan loved Brittany very much.
Obaida just wanted Brittany to understand that Yazan already lost many things he really values for her, and Brittany said that was very hard to hear and she was feeling extremely guilty.
Obaida said Brittany couldn't convert to Islam just to appease Yazan's family or fool them because her faith had to be within her heart, and Obaida promised to be there for Yazan and Brittany no matter what.
Obaida could see that Brittany truly loved Yazan through her tears and that she was being honest. Obaida just asked Brittany to take care of Yazan and step up as his mother, father, sister and everything else.
"I will," Brittany promised. "I have a lot to take in, so thank you for meeting me."
Brittany was feeling overwhelmed with emotion and didn't know Yazan had been going through so much this whole time. Brittany had to determine whether she loved Yazan enough to go through with this because he was essentially in danger for pursuing their relationship. DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Have Brittany and Yazan broken up or is the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple still together?
There was definitely trouble in paradise between Brittany and Yazan in late June.
At that time, Brittany lashed out at Yazan on Instagram claiming he's a cheater and substance-abuse user, only to claim shortly afterwards her account had been hacked.
Brittany ultimately deleted her rant against Yazan on Instagram, but screenshots taken of her post had been circulating on social media.
"Fun facts about us. Yazans favorite drink is Jack Daniels. Yazan loves hashish, tramadol, and gaslighting women," Brittany captioned a photo of the pair, suggesting Yazan was a hypocrite when he went ballistic over the idea of Brittany drinking alcohol.

"He also loves to cheat with 90 day fiance fans. He's on his third one. His favorite pastime is blaming others for his actions. Enjoy."
In the comments section of her post, a follower asked Brittany who manages Yazan's Instagram account since his English was inferior on the show.
"His third girlfriend he chose from his fan base," Brittany replied, according to a screenshot obtained by @187anonymousgossip Instagram account.
When someone criticized Brittany of lying and wrongly getting angry, she wrote on Instagram, "Alright alright settle down kids. Yazan is awake now and if he hears us talking about him he's gonna flip his sh-it. #F-ckTheBrittany."
And Brittany subsequently posted on her Instagram Stories, "Woke up in a f-ck you mood. Tired of misogynists who think they can groom women. Ima kill all that on behalf of my ladies. F-CK MISOGYNIST. WOMEN ARE QUEENS."
One hour later, however, Brittany posted a silent video of herself posing on Instagram and wrote alongside it, "I was hacked or whatever."

Many 90 Day Fiance fans pointed out the absurdity of Brittany claiming her account had been hacked when her posts were seemingly a very personal and specific tirade against Yazan.
It's possible TLC reached out to Brittany and reminded her she was in breach of her non-disclosure agreement by providing spoilers that her relationship with Yazan wasn't working out or had already ended.
Around that same time, Brittany confirmed with Entertainment Tonight that she is "not going to convert to any religion for anybody."
"I don't think that's a good idea for anybody. If you do it, it should be for God, not for a man," Brittany said.
And she apparently feels the same way about dressing like a Muslim woman in Jordan and wearing the hijab.
"If I sacrifice anything... it's going to be for myself because I decide that it's a good decision," she told ET.
"It's not going to be for anybody else or for any man because that's the only way I'm going to stick to it, if it's really for myself and something I believe in. I think it's unfair, really, to try to change yourself for any other person."

However, on July 5, ET published an interview with Brittany in which she said of Yazan, "We're so, so different and we're from two different backgrounds, so we're going to be going through a lot of conversations and a lot of compromise."
Brittany also said she "loves" Jordan -- including the people, the culture and its natural beauty -- and Yazan took English classes for her so they could learn to communicate better and easier.
When asked whether she thinks her relationship with Yazan could withstand their cultural differences, Brittany replied, "Um yeah. I feel like... all the people in this world can withstand each other's differences... for the most part."
"When you try to change people's opinions and views, that's when problems arise... [Yazan] kind of gets where I'm coming from and the type of life he wants to live and we want to live in the future."
In addition, Brittany revealed she actually loves Yazan's parents, but she couldn't speak on how they feel about her in return.
A few days earlier, Brittany posted a photo in which the couple was about to kiss during a dinner out on July 1.
Brittany wrote, "It's hard not to stay loyal to the queen. Some know better than others."
And Yazan responded, "You are so gorgeous my queen. I am so lucky to have you in my life," which clearly shows they are still together.
A few followers weighed in and asked Yazan to take care of Brittany and treat her like a gentleman.
Yazan wrote in reply, "We are all human beings and we have feelings, emotions and mood swings. Yes, I agree that she is sweet and beautiful. And I will try my best to be a gentleman to her. Thank you for the wish."
But clearly communication broke down or something went wrong later that month.
Brittany and Yazan suggested they were over and done with -- and certainly not on good terms -- when they traded swipes with each other on Instagram in late July.
Yazan explained the differences between "a good girl" and "a bad girl" on his Instagram Stories and appeared to take shots at Brittany without identifying her name, but then less than two hours later, Brittany confirmed she had taken Yazan's post personally by firing back at him and sharing the differences between "a good man" and "a bad man."

Yazan and Brittany's posts were captured in screenshots and reposted by the @187anonymousgossipp Instagram account.
Yazan appeared to spark the feud by writing on his Instagram Stories, "Have you ever wondered what is the difference between a good girl and a bad girl? Well, let me tell you about my thoughts. First of all, a good girl will loosen her shirt button when it's hot but a bad girl will loosen her shirt button to make a situation hot."
"Secondly, a good girl wears underwear and a bad girl don't use underwear," he added.
"Thirdly, a good girl says no and a bad girl says when? Lastly, a good girl goes to a party then go home then go to bed but a bad girl goes to a party then go to bed then go home."
Yazan went on to write, "I know that different people have different point of views. That's my personal point of view and a good person will definitely agree with what I said. Spread positivity and love."
In a subsequent post, Yazan concluded, "I want to clarify something. My previous stories is not about any specific person. I was just talking about something in general."
But Brittany clearly took Yazan's words to heart, because she clapped back on her own Instagram Stories.
"A good man holds a job and provides for his woman. A bad man sits at home with his hand out to everybody, trying to demand respect and control over a woman who WORKS for hers," Brittany wrote.
"If I let you control me, we'd be homeless cus lord knows you will not work or pay one bill with all that mouth. Sit this one out boo."
But Brittany and Yazan seemed back on track on August 31, when Brittany posted a video of herself cuddling up to Yazan on a couch.
"Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone. I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run. You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess. It's a love story, baby, just say 'Yes,'" Brittany captioned the video, writing the lyrics to a hit Taylor Swift song.
"Romeo, save me, they're trying to tell me how to feel. This love is difficult, but it's real. Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess. It's a love story baby just say 'Yes.'"

Brittany and Yazan haven't posted about each other on Instagram since late August and rumors have swirled Brittany may be involved with 90 Day Fiance alum Usman Umar after he commented "babygirl" on one of her Instagram photos.
However, Brittany recently insisted on Instagram she never dated Yazan for fame and she could have hooked up with an athlete or rapper if that's what she's about.
Brittany also defended her long-distance relationship with Yazan in early November.
"It doesn't matter what you plan as a first date or how much money you spend on it. A relationship is built on chemistry first. No matter how much Yazan and I are different or how much we fight, it's clear we have a passionate, burning chemistry," Brittany wrote in her Instagram Stories on November 9.
"Only people who love each other fight that hard about being together. I'm hard on the outside [because] I have a wall up and that's something Yazan understands. He sees a side of me y'all don't see. I cook for him, rub him, clean after him, push him to be better, helped him learn English."
Brittany continued, according to In Touch Weekly, "It's a reason he loves me and there's also things he [wishes] he could change to make it easier on him with his family, but I've met him halfway and I've built my own life independently to a certain point."
"I can't allow people who didn't raise me have complete control of my life when there are other options that include us both being happy and free. My love should be enough. My care should be enough."
"How I go hard for him even when he's dead wrong should be enough," Brittany concluded.
"What's understood don't have to be explained [fingers crossed emoji] [purple heart emoji]."

And on November 10, Brittany also defended her "dating standards" on Instagram Stories by posting a picture of the TLC hit song "No Scrubs."
"I'm independent and I'm not accepting love from any man who loves me. When I date, I do the choosing and men are hoping to get [chosen] by me," Brittany wrote, according to In Touch.
"Therefore, I make my dating standards, whereas when a pick-me woman dates, she dates to get [chosen]. She's trying to live up to the man's standards to prove she's good enough to be his wife. That's not how courtship and chivalry goes."
Brittany explained, "My man gotta show me why he is good enough to be my husband and father to our kids once he chooses to pursue me. So, pick-me women who can't stand me, just know: I'm not you! Never will be and don't wanna be. Pack it up, bishes [because] you gonna stay mad."
Brittany receives a lot of backlash from fans, so she even felt the need to release alleged text messages from Yazan to show he had promised her "a new start" and "a new life" prior to her move to Jordan, which would explain her accusation that Yazan essentially flipped a switch after she left the United States.
