90 Day Fiance: The Other Way just premiered with a two-hour episode on June 3, and it featured Paul from Louisville, KY, and Karine from Brazil.
Instead of following Americans and their foreign partners dating in the United States and attempting to marry within 90 days like the original 90 Day Fiance series, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way follows American citizens moving across the globe and living in foreign countries for the sake of love and their future spouses.
Paul and Karine met online and then Paul traveled to Brazil to meet Karine in person despite believing Brazil was dangerous and he'd have trouble adapting to the culture and his love interest's lifestyle.
The pair had trouble communicating and needed a language-translation phone app just to understand each other, but they still fell in love quickly.
Paul and Karine first appeared on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, and they were shown getting married when last year's season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days aired on TLC. (Their wedding actually took place in 2017).

After suffering through two devastating miscarriages -- one of which was documented on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days -- Paul and Karine announced they had a baby on the way in October 2018.
Later that month, Paul happily disclosed Karine was pregnant with a baby boy.
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days showed the couple going highs and lows in their marriage, and at one point, Karine even threatened to divorce her new husband, who had trouble trusting his wife.
Tension escalated between the couple on the show's Tell All reunion special last year, when Paul admitted he wanted Karine's child to get a paternity DNA test once born.

Karine obviously wasn't pleased to hear that her husband suspected she was sleeping around and being unfaithful.
During the premiere of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Paul, 35, revealed he's been working odd jobs on a farm to save up money for his pregnant wife and their family.
Paul was wary of Karine's actions in Brazil, but he loved her and decided to believe the baby is his without evidence.
Paul wished he could be with Karine at all times because the possibility of another miscarriage loomed and she only had three months of her pregnancy remaining.

Paul was hoping Karine could give birth in the United States, but since he didn't make $26,000 a year in income and couldn't convince his mother or seemingly anyone else to be a sponsor, Paul realized he must move to Brazil in order to make his relationship work and last.
Paul was frustrated he couldn't support his wife and baby, but he was prepared to fly to Brazil and never come back.
Paul insisted he was making "a huge sacrifice" for Karine by leaving his friends and family behind and would be risking his life. Paul also wasn't looking forward to adjusting to Brazilian culture and learning a new language.

Paul, however, was determined to get the baby items to Karine before taking any of his own belongings.
So are Paul and Karine still together? Did Paul make the move to Brazil and is he still married to Karine?
Karine and Paul appear to still be together, married and happy. They are also now parents! And in February, Paul revealed in an Instagram Stories posting that Karine had received a CR-1 spousal visa.

The pair welcomed their first child together in March, and since the baby is officially a U.S. citizen, it appears Paul and Karine are planning to move back to America together.
Karine and Paul's baby boy, whom they named Pierre Martins Staehle -- a name Paul didn't favor at first because of its "PMS" initials and bullying potential -- arrived on March 22, Us Weekly reported.
The couple's son reportedly weighed 6.9 pounds and measured 19.7 inches long when he was bored.
"I'm very happy, very excited. I'm also very nervous and want to do everything the best that I can and do everything right," Paul told Us.
"Everyone keeps asking how it feels to be a dad. Anyone can make a baby, but going through the day-to-day process of being a father is going to be a new experience. I'm very happy, very honored and very privileged and I want to make sure I do my absolute best for Pierre."
Karine reportedly suffered from labor complications, but she said she recovered just fine.
The pair are not hiding their relationship status considering Paul's Instagram bio currently reads, "Married to @staehlekarine," along with an emoji of a couple and their child. His Instagram profile image is also a family photo.
And Karine's Instagram profile says "Casada com [Paul]" in her bio a the top, which means she's "married with" Paul.

Paul's mother also visited the couple in Brazil earlier this month. Paul posted a video on Instagram of his mother flying home on American Airlines earlier this month.
And back in April, Paul shared photos of Karine at a clinic in Brazil with their baby and gushed about how wonderful the doctors were.
There appears to be plenty of social-media evidence the couple is still married and raising their baby together as a result.
