90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days star Ash Naeck has announced he's taking a break from social media for the sake of his mental health.

"Everyone thank you for the support and the great messages received," Ash wrote in a recent Instagram Stories posting.
"The events of the past 8 weeks hit me today, I was not in any way prepared for the intensity of what the show both good and bad brought to me. I am of the mindset to not give up but that took a turn today and I am taking a few weeks off from Social Media for my mental health. Love you all."
Ash previously addressed some of the criticism and backlash he has received since 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' fourth season premiered in February on TLC.
People poked fun at Ash's "bulging eyes" and "mannerisms," according to Starcasm.
Ash responded to such comments by revealing he's been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, an overactive thyroid.
"I want to thank the few of you who were super nice and nurturing in reaching out and bringing this to my attention in the most caring way possible," Ash reportedly wrote late last month on Instagram.
"And for the majority or the rest that came in with so much hate and cruel intention whether bloggers or individuals, I still send you love no matter how f-cked up your intentions towards me were."

On April 16, Ash asked people in an Instagram video not to "write sh-t" on his page and promote negativity. He said if people don't like who he is, what he looks like, or what he does, they can just "f-ck off" and he doesn't care.
Ash currently stars on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' fourth season with Avery Warner, a 32-year-old from Seattle, WA.

Avery said Ash was "hot and dreamy" and her "soul mate," so she decided to travel to Australia to meet him in person for the first time and take their relationship to the next level.
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days has captured the couple getting to know each other and planning a life together in the United States, but a part of Avery fears she fell in love with Ash since he always knows the right thing to say as a relationship coach.
Avery has repeatedly questioned Ash's sincerity and honesty, and she's afraid he sometimes "sugarcoats things" or downplays problems -- such as the idea of potentially moving his son to America -- in order to avoid conflict or hard conversations.

Avery has also shown jealousy issues, especially after discovering an alleged 68 text messages from women in Ash's phone.
Ash promised Avery in the latest episode those were his female clients, but she hoped Ash was truly keeping it professional.
"Baby, I myself am gradually understanding okay what works best for me. I'm single right now," Ash claimed.

Ash corrected himself and said he was "single before" and just wanted to spend time with Avery, but she was totally caught off-guard and called Ash's words "an instant punch to the gut."
Avery worried Ash was hiding something from her because when she asked him questions, she felt he got "flustered" and entered a "defense mode." She just hoped Ash was being true to her.
