90 Day Fiance star Ashley Martson reportedly plans to check herself into a rehab facility to treat her battle with depression following her divorce from husband Jay Smith.

"At this time, I'm focusing on my happiness and my future to better myself," Ashley told RadarOnline. "I appreciate the support from TLC and the audience of 90 Day Fiance."

A source close to Ashley told the website Ashley intends to begin her inpatient treatment on Monday, June 17
Ashley is entering "a mental wellness retreat for women in North Carolina," said the source.

The insider revealed Ashley is looking for help because she's "depressed."
"She plans to go for two weeks," the source told RadarOnline. "Her mother will watch her children."
Although Ashley filed for divorce from Jay in April, the former couple's issues reportedly continue to contribute to Ashley's wavering emotional and mental state.
"Jay won't leave her alone. He got a new apartment, but he keeps contacting her. He's been messing with her head," the source said. "She's also been dealing with backlash from fans on social media."
Ashley and Jay -- who starred on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance before appearing on the currently-airing fourth season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? -- tied the knot on May 16, 2018 in Harrisburg, PA, before having a more traditional ceremony in Las Vegas.

After Jay was caught flirting with other women on Tinder days after their Vegas wedding, Ashley initially filed for divorce on January 11.

However, Ashley was subsequently hospitalized with Lupus complications and Jay apparently stayed by her side.
Ashley reportedly withdrew the divorce paperwork on January 22, just 11 days after filing, but it's unclear whether Jay's support during her health crisis played a role in her decision to stay with him and remain married.
Jay was later accused of lying and cheating again, and rumors even swirled earlier this year he got another woman pregnant. (Jay denied the pregnancy rumor but never flat out insisted he was completely faithful to his wife).

Ashley therefore filed for divorce from Jay again in Cumberland County in April, alleging that Jay had committed "adultery" during the course of their 11-month marriage, according to In Touch Weekly.
It's also possible Jay may be deported back to Jamaica, as Ashley never filed for the Jamaica native's adjustment of status.
Over the past six months, Ashley has received backlash from fans for a variety of reasons.
Some critics claimed she was faking the severity of her illness, and Ashley also once admitted to faking her separation with Jay following his 2018 dating-app scandal.

Ashley blamed TLC and producers at the time for manipulating her into being dishonest and putting on a facade in public for the sake of entertainment and the 90 Day Fiance series, but viewers grew skeptical of Ashley and Jay's claims since they were also accused of leaking their own personal stories to the press for financial gain and publicity.
People even questioned whether Ashley's second divorce filing was authentic.
"I'm not gaining a thing by saying I'm separated when I'm not. For all that think it's for attention, I would stay with [Jay] so I can do future shows and stay in the limelight," Ashley wrote in her Instagram Stories in May.
"Filing for divorce not once, but twice, is the dumbest thing anyone could do if it's just for attention! Yes, I had a change of heart and went back and tried to fight for my marriage the first time. I'm sure I'm not the first."
