90 Day Fiance star Colt Johnson was recently filmed getting down on one knee and proposing marriage to Vanessa Guerra -- suggesting not only are the pair engaged, but they may also be returning for another season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? or another 90 Day Fiance series.

Colt, 35, was spotted kneeling down on a dock and presenting Vanessa with what appeared to be a ring, and a man can be seen holding camera equipment several yards away from the couple in the photo.

90 Day Fiance Instagrammer John Yates uploaded the photo to his Instagram account late last week and captioned it, "In case you haven't seen this picture making its rounds here's Colt being filmed proposing to Vanessa. #90DayFiance #90DayFianceHappilyEverAfter."

John subsequently posted a screenshot of Vanessa's decree of divorce from her ex-husband True Maudsley. Based on the paperwork, Vanessa's divorce was finalized on Wednesday, November 25.

"Looks like Colt wasted no time proposing to Vanessa – her divorce from True was finalized yesterday #90DayFiance #90DayFianceHappilyEverAfter," John wrote alongside the image.

While it's possible Colt and Vanessa were filming for Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, they may also have been filming the proposal for another spinoff such as 90 Day Fiance: What Now?, the franchise's online series which gives short-form viewers updates on former cast members.

Colt's ex-wife Larissa Dos Santos Lima, 34, alluded to Colt's engagement on Thursday when she reposted the photo of Colt proposing to her Instagram Stories, according to Us Weekly.

"Congratulations to my ex," the Brazil native wrote on her post.

For her part, Larissa entered a relationship with Eric Nichols shortly after Colt filed for divorce from her in January 2019. Colt and Larissa's divorce was finalized in April 2019, and while Larissa was dating Eric, Colt got involved with Jessica Caroline.

Larissa and Eric, however, just announced their (latest) breakup earlier this month.

Jessica, who starred on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s fifth season earlier this year with Colt, believed Colt had been cheating on her with Vanessa during their short-lived relationship. 

Colt and Vanessa insisted for months they were just friends, but fans began speculating their friendship had taken a romantic turn when the Instagram account @ReealityTeaVee posted a video of Colt and Vanessa walking hand-in-hand down a Las Vegas street while spending time with Nick Hogan and his girlfriend, Tana Lea, in September 2020.

Vanessa was flashing a big smile in the video, and she and Colt were also photographed inside a local restaurant with Nick and Tana.

However, neither Colt or Vanessa confirmed their alleged new romance at the time.

After starring on two seasons of the 90 Day Fiance franchise with Larissa, Colt began dating Jess and the pair appeared on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.

Colt opened up to the cameras about his alleged "friendship" with Vanessa multiple times throughout the season, which aired its finale on TLC only weeks after Vanessa and Colt were photographed walking hand-in-hand in Vegas.

"I met Vanessa during the last few months of my marriage to Larissa. We started talking online, and eventually, we decided to meet at a casino, and we just kind of hit it off," Colt told the cameras on the show.

"Jess has never met Vanessa. She doesn't even understand who Vanessa is, and she's so jealous of her. I told Jess I wouldn't talk to Vanessa anymore, and I was wrong to lie to Jess, but Vanessa is my best friend and she's been there a lot longer than Jess has."

Colt admitted to the cameras he had sex with Vanessa one time, but he never confessed that detail to Jess.

"Honestly, I have a crush on her. I think she's a great girl," Colt said of Vanessa, who supposedly helped Colt through his divorce and vice versa. "But I don't think she returns the favor, and so I moved on."

Jess said Colt tried to convince her that Vanessa was not a threat to their relationship but she always knew better.

Colt and Jess only dated for a few months last year and decided to break up by October 2019, Starcasm reported.

"After my divorce from Larissa, I wanted to date Vanessa immediately. I was like, 'Hey, want to try it?' And she wasn't interested," Colt explained on the Tell-All special of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s fifth season.

Vanessa then shared, "He did ask me to be his girlfriend, and I said, 'No,' and then I kind of started dating somebody else and he got upset."

Vanessa reportedly said at the time Colt was not her type and she likes "bearded tattooed men." She supposedly couldn't see past Colt's looks, and so Colt decided to date Jess instead.

Colt then confessed on the Tell-All he loved Vanessa and had slept with her before meeting Jess.

"And then after we broke up," Colt continued while speaking to Jess, "I slept with her some more."

Jess asked Colt why he started dating her when he clearly loved Vanessa at the time, and Colt replied, "Because Vanessa said, 'No.' If she said, 'Yes,' I would've dated her in a second. I'm sorry that you were in a sh-tty relationship with me. It was a summer fling."

Jess shouted about how Colt had allegedly lied to her, used her and cheated on her.

The Tell-All host Shaun Robinson then asked Colt to answer the following question directly: "Colt, while you were in a relationship with Jess, did you and Vanessa sleep together?"

"Okay, um, after I came back from Brazil, I cheated on Jess with Vanessa," Colt confessed.

Colt apologized to Jess for being a bad boyfriend and said his lies and past mistakes were exactly why Vanessa -- the "only person" he really cared about -- refused to date him.

Larissa yelled at Vanessa for destroying her marriage and Jess' subsequent relationship with Colt. Larissa said Colt had cheated on her also, but Colt insisted, "I never cheated on Larissa. At the worst, I had an emotional affair with Vanessa."

Larissa argued that Vanessa was "not a saint" and she "knew exactly what she was doing."

"The night I got arrested," Larissa continued, "I found a text from someone on his phone that I truly believe was Vanessa, saying, 'I'm done. I'm tired [of] waiting.' So I truly believe he was cheating on me from the beginning with Vanessa."

Vanessa said she never encouraged Colt to get divorced until after Larissa's third arrest, when Vanessa admitted she was finally like, "F-ck that b-tch. Get rid of her."

Vanessa added, "I like Colt as a best friend but I wouldn't trust him as a boyfriend... I feel like he's kind of all over the place and he doesn't really know what he wants."

Jess told Shaun that she thought Colt and Vanessa were in a romantic relationship at the time of the Tell-All, "100 percent," but Colt replied, "I wish." Vanessa also assured Jess that wasn't the case.

Jess then revealed she had "moved on" and married a man named Brian Hanvey.
