90 Day Fiance star Danielle Mullins has revealed where her relationship with ex-husband Mohamed Jbali stands now, four years after their divorce.

Danielle revealed she now talks to Mohamed "a couple times a week," but she assured Us Weekly in a video interview, "[There are] no romantic feelings."
"I do feel like that's all he genuinely wants, is a friendship," Danielle said. "I think that we're better off as friends. We're very supportive of each other and we're just better off as friends."
Danielle explained, "I mean, he's supportive of my schooling and I'm supportive of his job. I think what helps me to communicate with Mohammed is my dad used to be a truck driver and I talked to him about his trucking job."
Danielle was a 41-year-old from Norwalk, OH, and Mohamed was a 26-year-old from Tunis, Tunisia, when he arrived in America on a K-1 visa.
Danielle was granted a divorce from Mohamed in March 2017 and then Mohamed moved to Texas later that year and became a long-haul trucker.
Danielle told Us that her two conversations with Mohamed -- one at an Ohio restaurant that aired during the February broadcast of 90 Day: The Single Life, and a follow-up privately via Zoom -- brought her "some of the closure" that she "needed."
"It's still hard to believe that happened without us fighting," Danielle told Us. "And to have us come face to face and just sit down and have a normal conversation, it was awesome."

Danielle said Mohamed asked about her children and said he "appreciated" her and the friendship they've developed since being in contact again.
"I never thought that it would happen, but he's [grown] over the years. He's in his 30s now, you know, they say guys mature later," Danielle explained.
RELATED LINK: '90 DAY FIANCE' COUPLES NOW"So, I think he's matured a lot over the years after being out on his own and having things happen to him and he's realized that I was a good person and that I did a lot for him and took him that long to realize it."
Danielle said Mohamed must deal with immigration on his own and they're genuinely friends now because he doesn't need anything from her anymore.
"I do wish the Mohamed [people see now] is the Mohamed I had during our marriage," Danielle said.
"But it's hard to have a relationship in the public eye, and that's one of the things we've learned... [We now keep] people out of our friendship and we keep everything between me and him."
Danielle told Us that she has received the apology she feels she deserves from Mohamed
"We do talk off-camera and he has apologized off-camera on Zoom. So I feel like I have gotten the apology," she noted.
"Since I've been back out in the dating world and... I do have an apology from him, I feel like I have the confidence to speak up for myself, and I have been speaking up for myself more, even in relationships with family members and friends."

"Mohamed actually wants to meet up with [my youngest daughter] because those two had a friendship when me and him were married, and he's really fond of her and is always asking about her," Danielle said.
In addition, Danielle said Mohamed is "very happy" she's in school again and aware of her new relationship with Robert. In turn, Danielle insisted she'd be "okay" with Mohamed moving on in a new relationship.
"I mean he deserves to be happy too, but I think right now he's just too busy with truck driving," Danielle said.
After originally appearing on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance, Danielle and Mohamed were also part of the cast of Seasons 1 and 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.
The pair -- who initially met in an online chat room -- got engaged, and then Mohamed moved to Norwalk to be with Danielle and her three teenage daughters and one son from previous relationships.
Shortly after their wedding, the couple found themselves twisted in lies, and then Mohamed left Danielle and moved to Florida with a female friend.
Alleged intimate photos with this female later prompted Danielle to file for an annulment in October 2016, but she eventually withdrew the request due to reported pressure from her ex.

In April 2020, Danielle appeared on TLC's premiere of 90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined, a spinoff that gave viewers a glimpse into the lives of former 90 Day Fiance franchise stars as they quarantined at home during the coronavirus pandemic.
During Danielle's 90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined segment, she revealed that she had recently re-established a friendship with Mohamed after several years without contact.
"I have not seen Mohamed in three years. He reached out to be about a month ago and we've been chit-chatting here or there. We've forgiven each other, so yeah, we're building a friendship," Danielle said.
"He is out on the road driving a truck. I am more concerned about his well-being as a friend. It's scary being out there on your own with all of this going on."

The 90 Day Diaries premiere included individual segments with Mohamed and Danielle in which the former couple explained Mohamed had reached out to Danielle during the coronavirus pandemic to check on her health and well-being, resulting in the former spouses reconnecting and touching base.
Mohamed stated his regular trucking route has him hauling freight from Tracy, CA to Cleveland, OH -- which is only about an hour drive from Danielle's home in Sandusky, OH.
Mohamed's convenient route led to his meeting with Danielle at the Ohio restaurant.
