90 Day Fiance star Deavan Clegg claims she and Jihoon Lee faked many scenes of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way and the couple was practically already broken up by the time they started filming the spinoff's second season.

"The things that happened, I hold myself accountable 100 percent. I was supposed to protect my family, and I went to Korea when I shouldn't have," Deavan revealed in a recent YouTube interview with 90 Day Fiance Instagrammer John Yates.

"And I'm very hard on myself and very critical of myself for that. There are certain things, like, unfortunately I feel like me and my ex were done before we even started filming Season 2."

Deavan said she and Jihoon had pretty much checked out of their relationship after Deavan's first attempt to live in South Korea was a disaster and she moved back home to the United States.

As fans recall, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's second season picked up with Deavan giving Jihoon a second chance and preparing for her move back to South Korea with her daughter Drascilla, now 6, and son Taeyang, now 19 months.

"I feel like we both internally just carried it out for the show," Deavan revealed.

"I can't speak on him, but I feel like we both mentally felt that way. And I wish instead of pushing through for a show, we were just both honest in our hearts and didn't cause all of this drama to happen."

Deavan insisted she holds herself accountable for that and she "never should have went to Korea."

"I should've stuck with the way I felt instead of filming the show because I needed the money. I should have just stayed home," Deavan said.

Deavan apparently wishes she ended her marriage long before fans were even aware there was trouble in paradise.

"Jihoon and I both had been mentally out of love for a very long time, so that's also what helped us both move forward with future relationships," said Deavan, who is now dating Korean-American actor Christopher "Topher" Park.

One of Deavan's major issues with the 90 Day Fiance franchise is she feels her family wasn't accurately portrayed on the series.

"The show is a storyline. They told me the storyline from the beginning. My interviews, they told me word for word what to say in my interviews. There was a storyline and they wanted to play up the storyline," Deavan shared.

Deavan also doesn't appreciate the edit Drascilla has received on the show given fans have criticized Deavan for being a bad mother and Drascilla for being out of control.

"[Producers said], 'It would be so funny if [Drascilla] is just all over the place... but people don't know that. People don't know the behind-the-scenes. And that's why people who watch my YouTube videos are like, 'Oh my gosh, she's so different and she's so nice,'" Deavan explained.

Deavan reiterated how 90 Day Fiance is just "a show" and "[people] don't know the truth."

"They don't know how we are day to day. [Drascilla] is such a good girl... well-behaved and kind," Deavan claimed.

"What you see on the show is what happens when a girl is given a bunch of snacks and candy from producers who are constantly giving her sugar... or telling her to run around and do this stuff because 'it would be fun.'"

Deavan also said four other cast members -- two couples -- have reached out to her complaining about how their storylines on television are "not one hundred percent true."

Deavan insisted there's a huge difference between reality TV and "actual real life."

"People do not see how toxic this [reality television] industry is," Deavan said in her interview, adding that "some scenes [of the show] were heavily, heavily produced."

Deavan then revealed a shocking detail about her storyline with Jihoon.

"One of our most famous scenes is not real. It was scripted, and that's crazy," Deavan disclosed.

Deavan then pointed to her engagement ring on her left hand and said, "I already had it, so, yeah."

Deavan therefore suggested the scene of Jihoon proposing marriage to Deavan during a trip to Las Vegas with his parents was completely fake.

Deavan and Jihoon have been shown working on their marriage on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, which currently airs on Sunday nights on TLC, but Deavan revealed in August she had moved back to the United States after trying to move to South Korea for the second time.

Deavan claimed "disgusting things" happened off-camera between Jihoon, herself and her children and her estranged husband had done "the most vile thing possible" to make her want to leave South Korea.

Jihoon then confirmed he and Deavan split in August after one year of marriage, which was around the same time Deavan started hinting she was in a new relationship by posting photos of an unidentified man on Instagram with his face cropped out.

Deavan and Topher eventually went Instagram official in mid-September when Topher posted sexy photos with Deavan on social media, and Deavan has been gushing about her man ever since.

Deavan said during her interview she actually met Topher in the Los Angeles airport while she was still in a relationship with Jihoon but the pair's first interaction was casual and they didn't follow up on anything until Deavan became single again.

Deavan also noted Topher is "so good" with Drascilla, her daughter from a previous relationship, and Taeyang, whom she shares with Jihoon.

After dating for a brief amount of time, Deavan and Topher moved in together.

Deavan told John that Jihoon has blocked her and her entire family on every account and they'll handle things in court at a later date but she's not withholding Taeyang from Jihoon.

In addition, Deavan explained she's not even thinking about an engagement to Topher right now because she's "just trying to get divorced first."

Deavan confirmed in September she had filed for divorce but Jihoon was dragging out the process.

"Woke up to a lot of hate mail. I want to say this once: I've tried to get the divorce finished. Jihoon has not yet signed," Deavan wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.

"I've been trying, so everyone leave me alone about that situation."

Deavan said in her interview she is still waiting on Jihoon to sign the papers and make their divorce official.

Deavan has made her breakup a legal matter because she alleges Jihoon had abused her daughter Drascilla when they were together in South Korea.

Jihoon, however, has firmly denied ever abusing Drascilla, whom Deavan previously described as "a wild child." Jihoon insisted on social media he was just trying to discipline Drascilla and act as a responsible co-parent.

Deavan and Jihoon will not be appearing on the Season 2 Tell-All of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, but Deavan revealed she will be creating her own documentary or Tell-All for release in December 2020 or January 2021.

"It's going to show who we really are," Deavan said, adding that it will feature Topher as well.
