Although Tasha appeared worried and nervous about not having any place to move to -- other than Eric's suggestion she stay in a budget motel for the time being -- Eric stood his ground and told Tasha she needed to leave.
"Here is my official statement on this scene and the situation: When I moved in with Tashia in the apartment after her roommates bailed on her, the agreement was that she would be out by the time Leida got here. She had 10 mos to find a place," Eric commented on one of blogger John Yates' Instagram posts earlier this week.
"The agreement was that we split the bills and rent because I wanted to make sure she could handle the responsibility of being on her own."
He continued, "Mid winter, she got sick. She lost pay due to not working for three weeks. I covered all the bills and rent and did it willingly. She quit her job, against my advice, by just walking out on them. No new job secured. No 2 week notice. I covered the bills then."
The 40-year-old from Baraboo, WI, insisted he continued to cover the bills so Tasha could save money to later put down money on her own apartment once she could begin working again.

"BTW, her roommates that bailed on her, were the same ones she bailed on her mom with to move in with. With a 2 min notice. Leaving her mom at work with no one to watch my youngest, Jennica. Forcing my oldest to have to miss work and stay home to watch her," Eric continued in his comment.
During a Q&A session Tasha conducted with her Instagram followers after Sunday night's episode, she alleged that she asked her father to move in with her -- once her two roommates got married, had a child and moved -- because he had been homeless for two years and living in his car.
Eric also reminded 90 Day Fiance fans in his comment that his apartment was a complete mess when Leida saw it for the first time.
Leida claimed Tasha trashed Eric's place on purpose so she wouldn't feel comfortable walking into her new home.

"Yes, the mess was hers. You even saw her room in the last week episode," Eric said of Tasha.
"The production company even has footage of me making sure the place was straightened up before I left for New York. I even texted her on our way back to make sure it was in the same condition it was when I left. It wasn't. I never even had a chance to come over here to check it out before the scene. There was no time."

Eric then asked people not to judge him for trying to show his adult daughter some tough love.
"For the people out there who make their kids their friends, you're not parents. Parents have to be leaders," Eric said.
"Leaders have to make unpopular decisions. If all of you still think I'm the bad guy here, so be it. Haters gonna hate. That's all they know. I will not reply to anything."
In a separate comment, Eric also claimed his ex-wife is not a saint either, although she has been portrayed as a welcoming, understanding and kind woman on the show.
"[Tasha] can only handle her mom in small doses. You know, because like, everyone seems to think her moms the rational one. Nobody, and I mean nobody, knows what's she's like when the cameras are off," Eric alleged.

As for how the saga of Tasha and Eric's apartment problems ended, Tasha revealed on Instagram she is currently living in a trailer with her "beloved boyfriend" and taking college courses.
And according to Tasha, Eric and Leida, a 29-year-old from Indonesia, still live together in the Wisconsin apartment with Leida's young son Allessandro.
