90 Day Fiance star Fernanda Flores is defending Jonathan Rivera's mother despite obvious tension that existed between the women during Sunday night's Season 6 episode.

"Thank you all for being supportive after today's episode," Fernanda wrote to her Instagram followers on her account.
"I know you guys feel bad for me but [there] is nothing to feel bad for. Ceci did what any mom would do. She worries about her son's decisions."
While Fernanda was hoping to be immediately welcomed into Jonathan's family, that wasn't the case given the couple's age difference and the fact Jonathan seemed to drop the ball on communication ever since falling for the brunette beauty abroad.
After all, Jonathan didn't even let his family know he was going to propose marriage to Fernanda, and then he missed spending the Christmas holiday with them to get engaged.
The meet and greet ended with Ceci reluctant to accept Fernanda's invitation to go wedding dress shopping and then Fernanda breaking down into tears.
Fernanda, however, apparently doesn't want Ceci to receive any hate or criticism from 90 Day Fiance fans.

"Unfortunately, Jonathan after being alone and away from home for many years he lost the communication. It is something that he is working on," Fernanda continued in her Instagram post.
"It was hard in the beginning, but once that she knew and I showed her that the only thing that I want is to help Jonathan reconnect with his family and be a good wife for him and grow together, she felt relieved and she [has] been really sweet and nice with me."
Fernanda concluded, "I love her so much for giving birth and raising the awesome man that I have. She is a mama and I love feel that she is mother-in law and I'm part of her family."

Fernanda insisted she was ready to wed, and she quickly realized Jonathan and Ceci spoke to each other with very little respect.
Fernanda hoped Jonathan's family would come around since her own family in Mexico was very supportive of her relationship.
Since it's likely the couple tied the knot based on the fact they are still together and Fernanda is standing up for Jonathan's mother, it seems Fernanda got her wish.
