90 Day Fiance star Jovi Dufren has defended his drinking habits given viewers have watched the New Orleans native butt heads with Yara Zaya constantly over his partying ways on Season 8 of the series on TLC.

"I don't think I drink too much," Jovi, 29, replied.
"You know, I feel like I go to work a lot, and when I'm at work, I never drink obviously. So, you can imagine if I go to work for one month or two months, I don't drink that whole time."
Jovi therefore suggested he likes to let loose once he returns home to New Orleans from a work trip.
"So when I come back, I want to be able to enjoy myself," Jovi acknowledged.
"I want to drink sociably. It's not like I'm getting hammered every day. I drink sociably. I like to hang out with friends and have drinks. I don't see anything wrong with that."
However, Jovi went on to reveal that he "drinks a lot" at an average party for his social circle.
"When I drink, I'm going to drink a lot," Jovi noted. "So, I mean, usually I have, I don't know, in a night I have at least 10 beers or something like that."
Shaun's jaw nearly dropped to the floor in shock, but Jovi insisted, "But I'm not so drunk, okay?!... Beers don't really get you that drunk."
Jovi confirmed he also doesn't drink that much "every night."
90 Day Fiance's eighth season has shown a pregnant Yara from Ukraine repeatedly begging Jovi to stop drinking so much, pay more attention to her, and take better care of her.

Jovi's friends have made numerous comments suggesting Jovi was a "wild" man -- who was a regular at a local stripclub -- in his past and Yara, 25, was the only woman able to tame him or inspire him to settle down.
"I didn't really have much of a dating life before Yara," Jovi told Shaun on 90 Day: Bares All. "It was more, like, have a fling and then go back to work kind of thing."
Jovi even failed a lie detector test about his prior denial that he had never slept with a stripper and admitted he went to Jamaica with one.
"When Jovi is back home, he likes to party, and I don't know if Yara is prepared for all that," Jovi's friend Kline told the cameras in the latest episode.
After Jovi vowed to make Yara and their future baby his priority, Yara agreed to marry him in Las Vegas.
But Jovi appeared to come down with a case of cold feet before his wedding day.
"[I feel] a ton of pressure on my shoulders and I'm just worried am I making the right decision? Have I had enough time to think this through? I don't know," Jovi lamented in a confessional on the latest episode.
