Rebecca, who has been shown getting to know Zied in Tunisia on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days and hoping for a marriage proposal, took to Instagram on Wednesday to calm her concerned fans amid gossip Zied may be an abusive partner.

"I need to make something VERY CLEAR. Zied has NEVER been abusive. Zied would NEVER be abusive. This is dangerous to make light of and it needs to stop now. I understand that the preview was misleading," Rebecca captioned a video of herself talking about the situation.
Rebecca seemed to be referring to a preview that aired following the September 29 broadcast of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days in which an angry Zied appeared to grab the back of Rebecca's neck after discovering a picture of her ex-husband on her phone.

Rebecca, who quickly pulled away from Zied's grip, admitted the scene -- which ended up airing fully on the show's October 6 episode -- looked "questionable" but Zied was actually "being very calm" in that moment.
Rebecca claimed in her Instagram video that Zied had tried to pull her close to apologize and she was the one who happened to be angry and pull away from him as a result.
"The scene in its full entirety was very clear! Zied was apologizing to me and I was the one who pulled away from him. I was angry, not Zied," Rebecca insisted in her caption.
She also explained in the video, "Had he kissed me or I kissed him or something like that, it would've looked completely innocent. At no time has Zied ever been abusive or would be abusive."
Rebecca claimed that as an abuse survivor in previous relationships, she would "never allow" a man to treat her badly and she would "never make excuses for it."

"In addition, TLC and Sharp Entertainment would not only not have allowed it, but would not have aired it. It is dangerous to make accusations like this, and make it look like I'm making excuses. As there are women watching in actually dangerous relationships that think if I'm staying with this man, it's okay for them to," Rebecca continued in her caption of the video.
"It is never okay to be in any relationship that is even slightly abusive. Reality tv likes to create drama, and did that with the preview. The scene in its entirety, clearly shows Zied was not being abusive in ANY way. Be responsible with your accusations. #domesticabuseisnotokay."
Rebecca concluded in her video, "Let's all stop talking about Zied being abusive. It's not okay... So let's stop this now!"
Hours before posting this video, Rebecca also asked her Instagram followers to give Zied a little more credit for what she had put him through.

"For everyone sending me messages and comments about red flags with Zied....Lets be realistic! Zied has seen his share of red flags with me!... I appreciate everyone's concern for me, honestly. But let's just watch the show and see what happens. Next week is gonna be ROUGH!" she wrote.
Rebecca also said in a video that went along with it, "I do appreciate everyone who's worried about me and messages me about there being so many red flags with Zied and I need to run, like, 'Girl you're being silly,' or, 'You're being stupid,' or whatever. Can we just talk about all the red flags Zied has had to put up with?" Rebecca said with a laugh.

"Let's be realistic. I think it's pretty evenly-matched at this point, just thought I would point that out."
Rebecca, a 47-year-old private investigator from Canton, GA, fell hard and fast for Zied, a 26-year-old from Tunisia, after they met online.

Rebecca, who has three kids and came out of three failed marriages, was prepared to give love another shot with him.
Rebecca confessed her first two marriages were "average, run-of-the-mill American men," but her third marriage was to a Moroccan man whom she had brought to America on a spousal visa.
She said the Moroccan man had changed once she brought him into the U.S. and he was controlling and too jealous.
In order to determine whether they could make their relationship work long-term, Rebecca planned a 15-hour flight to Tunisia, and her ultimate goal was to leave Tunisia with an engagement ring and a new foreign fiance.
However, she had only filed for divorce from the Moroccan man shortly before her flight, and so her third divorce had yet to be finalized.

Rebecca and Zied's relationship got off to a wonderful start in Tunisia, but she came to find out Zied was also a jealous man who had no work history listed in his background check. Zied also once asked Rebecca for $200.
But Rebecca was still technically a married woman, and she once had a same-sex relationship that Zied's family would never approve of. Rebecca was also unaware Zied had asked her for money to buy an engagement ring for her.
The pair has had a lot of issues to work through on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, but the latest episode showed Zied planning to pop the question.
According to a preview for the upcoming episode on Sunday, October 13, however, Zied will not handle the news of Rebecca being married well at all.
