In order to prepare for Syngin's arrival and show how grateful and appreciative she was, Tania decorated both the floor of the airport arrivals area and a nearby hotel room with rose petals.
Tania wanted her reunion with Syngin to be perfect and romantic, but a maintenance man at the airport attempted to sweep up the petals before Syngin was able to see the display -- and Tania was upset.
"No, uh uh. You can wait like two minutes! He's coming right now," Tania told the maintenance worker. "He's coming!"
When asked in a Q&A session on Instagram why she was so mean to the elderly man cleaning at the airport, Tania responded, "Was I actually mean, or did I [say] 'Please don't, he's coming now' and did he REALLY at that exact time need to sweep up that one spot?!"
Tania didn't think there was anything wrong with dropping rose petals on the floor.
"Why not yall! Damn I express love by doing and showing. So let [me] show and shine!" Tania wrote.
Tania seemed angered by the fact people had been calling her out for being rude to people in the service industry, especially given her own background.
"Lol everyone bugging like I don't work in the service industry. #Stop. How I can tell YALL dont know how to act is by saying leaving petals in a hotel room is much better. -- as if they also aren't min. wage workers. #LeaveNoTrace #LeaveATip," Tania wrote.

Tania also explained she's a bartender and her mother is a union carpenter who works 12-hour overnight shifts.

In the seventh-season premiere of 90 Day Fiance, Tania said she met Syngin at a bar in South Africa after she ditched a man whom she had met on a dating app and traveled to meet in person in the middle of the night because he didn't turn out to be a great guy.
Tania and Syngin spent the night together after first meeting, and then Tania's trip to South Africa extended into a two-month stay before she returned to the United States.
Tania and Syngin continued their relationship long distance, but she later packed up her belongings and headed back to South Africa for another trip.
Tania said she was the first "brown person" Syngin had ever been with since he grew up in a "racist" culture, but she insisted Syngin loved her for the right reasons.

After a couple more months, the pair expressed their love for each other. Tania then returned to America and applied for Syngin's K-1 visa. It was later approved, and she was anticipating her love's arrival.
Tania said she and Syngin would be moving into a shed behind her mother's home in Connecticut -- but first, they'd spend some time in a hotel.
Once Syngin and Tania reunited at the airport, Tania broke down into tears and he ran up to her and embraced her tightly. Tania appeared overwhelmed with emotion.
