90 Day: The Last Resort featured Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda arguing over an open relationship, Stacey Silva and Florian Sukaj getting their "spark" back, Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre reconnecting, and Natalie Mordovtseva apologizing during the Season 2 episode that aired Monday night on TLC.

90 Day: The Last Resort will document couples facing their relationship demons through traditional and unconventional therapy at a desert resort in Arizona.

The new season of 90 Day: The Last Resort stars star Ariela and Biniyam Shibre, Brandon and Julia, Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda, Rob Warne and Sophie, Josh Weinstein and Natalie, and Stacey Silva and Florian Sukaj.

The six couples have all reached a relationship breaking point and will spend three weeks at a desert resort in Arizona undergoing a rigorous relationship bootcamp designed to rebuild trust and connections.

At the resort, the couples will be shown working with therapists and counselors to navigate issues of jealousy, anger and intimacy through group therapy and untraditional approaches -- including hypnotherapy, pleasure mapping, sand tray therapy and off-grid excursions into the desert.

At the end of the retreat, each couple must decide if they want to stay together or call it quits on their relationship at the Final Recommitment Ceremony.

During Episode 5, the couples were given sex-therapy homework to complete in attempt to build trust and intimacy in their relationship.

Below is what happened on Episode 5 of 90 Day: The Last Resort's second season.

JASMINE and GINO

Gino was asked how he felt about the fact Jasmine wanted an open relationship with another man who could satisfy her sexually, and he replied, "Umm I don't think that's something I want."

Sophie could see the life sucked out of Gino when Jasmine suggested that, and Rob couldn't believe Jasmine was willing to sacrifice her whole marriage for sex.

Gino confirmed that he wouldn't be interested in an open relationship, but Jasmine said she wasn't being satisfied and she couldn't envision Gino ever getting the job done.

"She's already given up," Gino announced.

Jasmine insisted she wasn't giving up yet but she had been thinking about an open relationship for several weeks because she didn't think her marriage to Gino was going to improve in the physical department any time soon.

"I do love him and I want to build a life with him, but a sexless marriage is not in the picture for me," Jasmine told the cameras.

Jasmine was clearly thinking outside of the box as a potential solution, but Gino called that idea "a dealbreaker." Gino couldn't believe Jasmine was thinking about having sex with a completely different person.

"That's not how I want my marriage to be," Gino lamented in a confessional.

"Thinking about my wife with some other guy, that's not me, no thanks. I don't want any part of that."

A therapist asked Gino to plan a night of seduction for Jasmine, but Gino clarified how he wasn't ready to jump into sexual stuff with his wife just yet given the emotional separation between them.

Gino therefore agreed to make Jasmine feel wanted and desired without initiating sex.

That night, Gino poured Jasmine champagne and they sat in the hot tub together. Jasmine told Gino that she wanted him, and it made Gino burst into awkward giggles.

Jasmine assured Gino that she was attracted to him and she missed him. Jasmine told Gino that she was doing his part of the homework, but then he gave her a massage.

When Jasmine attempted to touch Gino, he moved away from her and appeared uncomfortable.

When Gino refused to have sex with Jasmine and denied her the chance of having an open relationship, she called him "a selfish person."

Jasmine claimed that Gino was able to pleasure himself all day long by feeding his porn addiction, but Gino denied being addicted to porn and watching it that often.

Gino then exited the hot tub, and Jasmine yelled out that he should go masturbate because that's why he was treating her so poorly.

"In the digital world, you don't have to worry about seducing a woman," Jasmine shouted to her husband.

The next morning, Gino said he needed a break and hoped to just hang out with the guys for a bit. The girls, meanwhile, went shopping together, except for Stacey and Natalie.

Gino claimed he only watched porn a couple times a week, and Rob admitted he watched porn as well. Brandon joked that a man has to eat when he's hungry but that Gino was into some dirty stuff.

Florian advised Gino to have sex with his wife just to zip her mouth. He suggested they should have angry sex and it could fix their issues quite simply.

Florian said he felt sorry for the other guys, including Rob.

Jasmine, meanwhile, told the girls how she faced "constant rejection" from Gino and so she needed to "be like a deejay" at home in order to pleasure herself.

Gino appeared to get very drunk that night, as he was having a blast with the guys. Rob said it was clear Gino had the most fun when Jasmine wasn't around.

But when more drinks were being poured, Jasmine threw them on the ground. At one point, she poured out Florian's drink, and so he angrily stepped toward her and put his face right in hers. This confrontation sparked screams from the group.

ARIELA and BINIYAM

Ariela and Biniyam were asked to go on a romantic date.

For their date, the pair took a UTV ride and then enjoyed a picnic, which included champagne. They had fun being out in the desert.

Ariela said the experience was great but also strange. Ariela said if she and Biniyam were capable of having this much fun together, then she wondered why they weren't doing this more often.

"If our relationship could be like this all the time, I mean, we'd be golden," Ariela shared with the cameras.

Biniyam said it was a wonderful day, but he was still thinking about his social media password. If Ariela didn't give it to him soon, he said they were going to have a huge problem.

ROB and SOPHIE

Rob and Sophie were tasked with taking turns in dominating one another because if they could each submit sometimes, it would develop a physical trust between them and get Sophie out of her head.

Sophie claimed she's not a dominant person at all, but Rob quipped, "If Sophie gets to dominate me, maybe she gets out some of that frustration. I'll take the punishment if it gets us somewhere. Spank me, choke me -- just don't kill me, and maybe we'll get somewhere."

Once in the bedroom, Sophie gagged Rob and spanked him with a paddle, causing the pair to erupt with laughter.

The couple, however, didn't end up having sex. Sophie and Rob had gone almost a year without being intimate.

BRANDON and JULIA

Since humor seemed to bring out the best in them and bond them, Brandon and Julia were given a spanking, tickling and blindfolding kit to play around with.

Julia rode Brandon around their hotel room like he was a horse as she whipped him.

Brandon said his homework didn't turn him on at all and that he didn't find the situation erotic. He and Julia therefore didn't sleep together.

STACEY and FLORIAN

To inject some fun and spice into their relationship, Stacey and Florian were asked to role play while having sex.

Stacey suggested playing sexy secretary to Florian's boss. However, the couple chose to play cowboys instead, and Stacey ended up riding her man like a horse.

The next morning, Stacey told Florian that they were "definitely getting some of that spark back" that they had lost, and Florian replied, "I love you."

That marked the first time the pair had sex in months, and Stacey called her husband "a stallion."

NATALIE APOLOGIZES TO THE WOMEN

When Julia, Jasmine and Sophie were out shopping for cowboy hats, Stacey ended up bringing Natalie to the store to meet up with the women so she could apologize for how she had acted at the bar.

Natalie announced how her behavior wasn't appropriate and she was sorry for that. Natalie said she had been bullied in school and so she was insecure and projected that onto other people.

Sophie explained how Natalie had disrespected her by touching her husband at the bar, and then Sophie showed Natalie her text exchange with Josh, who had asked her to come to Las Vegas with him. Natalie could tell in that moment that Josh and Sophie's alleged affair was one-sided and Josh had lied to her.

Josh had even texted Sophie a specific date to join him in Las Vegas.

"I realize clearly it was not from your side... so I'm sorry," Natalie told Sophie.

"I respect that you're apologizing, but I think I'm going to need some time because that was a lot. I am insecure as well and that sh-t could get to my head," Sophie told Natalie.

Sophie told the cameras that she she's not a fake person and she didn't like Natalie -- and probably wouldn't again.
