'90 Day: The Last Resort' recap: Natalie explodes on Sophie, Brandon scolds Julia, Ariela disappears

90 Day: The Last Resort featured Brandon Gibbs scolding Julia Trubkina for acting like a "stripper" at a club, Ariela Weinberg locking herself in a bathroom, and Natalie Mordovtseva calling Sophie Sierra "a hooker" during the Season 2 episode that aired Monday night on TLC.


90 Day: The Last Resort will document couples facing their relationship demons through traditional and unconventional therapy at a desert resort in Arizona.

The new season of 90 Day: The Last Resort stars star Ariela and Biniyam Shibre, Brandon and Julia, Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda, Rob Warne and Sophie, Josh Weinstein and Natalie, and Stacey Silva and Florian Sukaj.

The six couples have all reached a relationship breaking point and will spend three weeks at a desert resort in Arizona undergoing a rigorous relationship bootcamp designed to rebuild trust and connections.


At the resort, the couples will be shown working with therapists and counselors to navigate issues of jealousy, anger and intimacy through group therapy and untraditional approaches -- including hypnotherapy, pleasure mapping, sand tray therapy and off-grid excursions into the desert.

At the end of the retreat, each couple must decide if they want to stay together or call it quits on their relationship at the Final Recommitment Ceremony.

During Episode 3, the couples had a night off and went to a club together, which sparked drama and volatile arguments.

Below is what happened on Episode 3 of 90 Day: The Last Resort's second season.

ARIELA and BINIYAM

The morning after "Compromise Canyon," Ariela and Biniyam joined the other cast members for breakfast and Biniyam showed off some of his athletic dance moves.


Biniyam even flipped Julia right around in front of the group.

"This behavior, he can't help himself. He needs constant validation and attention," Ariela vented to Sophie.

"He is trying to be the center of attention. It's a little annoying that instead of coming over and saying hello to me, he's goofing off with other people."

Ariela complained that Biniyam wasn't taking their relationship seriously.

It was a quiet ride to a local club for Ariela and Biniyam that night.


Jasmine danced with Biniyam on the dance floor, and Ariela watched from a distance. Biniyam then spun Julia around.

"You don't treat your wife like that," Ariela told the cameras.

Ariela insisted she wasn't jealous of the other women or upset that Jasmine was dancing with her husband; she was just angry that Biniyam was ignoring her and not giving her the time of day.

Ariela continued to "spiral" as the night progressed, and she ran to the restroom and locked herself in.


Jasmine accused Ariela of "having a tantrum" and being dramatic because Biniyam was just dancing and not acting poorly. Jasmine defended Biniyam in this situation and suggested that Ariela was acting childish.

"I feel bad for Bini, I really do. This is what he has to deal with? Jesus," Jasmine told the cameras.

Ariela ended up facing Biniyam and engaging him. She decided to make the most of the night.

Ariela therefore explained to Biniyam why his behavior had bothered her, and Biniyam said he was also upset because Ariela was hiding his social-media password from him.

Ariela decided to give Biniyam the password as long as he'd try to save their marriage and be more involved. Ariela demanded respect and communication, and Biniyam agreed to honor her request.

JASMINE and GINO

Jasmine said her friend Matt back in Michigan whom she had met at the gym convinced her to stay at the resort and fight for her marriage because she and Gino had "too much history to give up so soon."

Gino complained to the other guys about how "the women" at the resort were "acting like the victim when they're the problem," and Biniyam and Rob agreed.

When Jasmine and Gino got ready to go out that night to a club, Gino complimented his wife's earrings.

Jasmine told the cameras that in order to save her marriage, Gino was going to have to do a lot better than that.

BRANDON and JULIA

During the couple's first day off in a few days, Julia wanted to go to the club that night, but Brandon didn't want to.

Brandon had been hoping to do something alone with Julia and continue working on their issues. He therefore worried if Julia was more focused on partying and making friends instead of working on their marriage.


That night, Julia wore a skimpy outfit, and Brandon called it "ridiculous."

Julia even wore a robe over her outfit to the club because Brandon thought she was freezing.

Julia was wearing a silver sequin crop top that was backless with very short jean shorts.

At one point, Julia got up on the bar and performed in front of everyone. Brandon pulled her down and explained how her butt cheeks were showing, and he called her behavior "too much."

But Julia didn't seem to care because she said she was having fun.


Julia explained how she had a very tough year and so she just wanted to let loose and have a stress-free night. The former go-go dancer boasted about how this club needed her skills and energy.

"I can have fun without showing me penis to people, you know?" Brandon told Julia. "I wish I didn't come here."

Brandon added, "I want to be married to somebody who's ready to be a mom, not a f-cking stripper."

Julia said that wasn't fair of Brandon to say. While Julia wasn't ready to be a mother, she didn't believe she had done anything wrong.

Julia therefore said, "Bye," to Brandon and continued to party with her new girlfriends.

Brandon subsequently told Rob that Julia wouldn't wear lingerie for him, nor had they been intimate, and so he didn't understand why she dressed so provactively in front of a bunch of strangers.

SOPHIE and ROB

Sophie heard that Natalie didn't like her, and Brandon confirmed that Natalie had made "some very rude comments."

Julia warned Sophie that Natalie had said she flirted with every man at the resort and had a plastic ass.

Sophie was shocked because she said she didn't know Natalie at all.

Josh had contacted and attempted to flirt with Sophie on social media, but Sophie didn't think Natalie even knew about that.

"But he's the one who messaged me and I didn't even reciprocate it!" Sophie vented in a confessional.

"She definitely shouldn't be talking rubbish about me behind my back. We're here for relationships. What she's doing is giving 'insecure' and 'mean girl' energy."


Natalie had also told Rob during the bus trip the previous day that Rob deserved better because Sophie didn't seem to love him. Sophie also accused Natalie of grabbing Rob's arm and complimenting his tattoos, which was a flirty move.

Sophie thought Natalie was taking her own insecurities out on her, and Sophie joked about how she could be childish and petty too -- if she wanted to be.

Sophie said she and Rob were doing better, however, and so the pair looked forward to going out together that night and having some fun.

Rob listened to Sophie vent about Natalie, and Rob said that Natalie had "no right" to talk about his wife or comment on her butt.

STACEY and FLORIAN

Stacey was apparently feeling good, and she yelled about how she was coming back.

Stacey was looking forward to having a good time with Florian, but she also gently warned him not to party too hard or stay out too late without her.

JOSH and NATALIE

Because of his son's accident, Josh said he had to return home for a few days in order to do his part as a dad.

Josh said he felt bad that he was leaving Natalie and he hoped his absence wouldn't backfire.

Josh was aware Natalie hadn't made any friends at the resort, and so he said he was a little worried about leaving her alone with the cast.

Natalie said she understood why Josh needed to leave -- and respected it -- but he should've told her in private, before they went to the club.

At one point, Sophie and Josh were talking at the club, and Jasmine and Stacey spent some time with Natalie.

Jasmine warned Natalie that Josh had invited Sophie to Las Vegas about a month prior, and Natalie went crazy.


Natalie announced at the bar that she was "looking for single guys," and she called Sophie a "b-tch."

Natalie confronted Josh and Sophie about the Las Vegas allegation. Natalie yelled at Sophie for being "half naked," adding, "I would never do this to you!... You are a hooker. You are married. How can you do this?"

Sophie called Natalie "insecure" and said she wanted to talk like adults, but Natalie accused her of "f-cking other boyfriends."

Josh claimed he asked Sophie if she had ever been to Vegas but he didn't actually invite her.

Natalie yelled at Josh for inviting her on this retreat when he was allegedly hitting on other women, and then she stormed out of the club.

The cast proceeded to toast and cheer to "hookers" as Natalie cried outside of the club alone.


Josh later explained how he and Sophie have mutual friends and they were all talking about going to Las Vegas.

"I asked her, 'Have you ever been to Las Vegas?' She said, 'No,' and I said, 'We're going on certain dates,' and that she should come. Why did I not invite Natalie?" Josh explained.

"Well, when there are other pretty girls around, she gets very upset. The volcano explodes. It's like the lava is pouring and people are getting burned all over the place. I think people are starting to understand why I am at this resort."

Outside the club, Natalie yelled at Josh asking him to invite her to Vegas, but he said "absolutely not" when she was behaving like that and she needed to calm down.

Natalie then walked back in the club and threw a drink on Sophie, yelling, "F-ck you!"

Jasmine handed Natalie her bag, and Natalie told Jasmine to "fix" everything because she had started it.


Jasmine yelled at Natalie, saying Natalie thought she was better than every woman in that club and she wasn't. Jasmine claimed she had been patient and supportive, yet Natalie was acting like a brat and "a b-tch."

Jasmine screamed at Natalie, saying that's why she's alone and she's a "b-tch."

As Jasmine fired away, Natalie stood still and in silence, appearing to be in a bit of a shock.
