A&E Network has formally announced that it has renewed Intervention, a docu-reality series that profiles people across the country who are struggling with addictions, for a third season. The new season will air Fridays at 10PM ET/PT, a new day and time period, beginning March 16.

Intervention's second season averaged a million viewers per episode in the Adults 18-49 demographic, a 29% increase over the series' first season.
Intervention is produced for A&E by GRB Entertainment, and Bryn Freedman and Sam Mettler are executive producers. Robert Sharenow and Colleen Conway serve as the show's A&E executive producers.
