A&E Network has announced that it will premiere the sixth season of Intervention, a docu-reality series that profiles people across the country who are struggling with addictions, on Monday, December 15 at 9PM ET/PT.
Similar to the show's previous seasons, each sixth-season Intervention episode will follow the life of an addict and give viewers an inside look at the impact addictions have on everyday life.

Intervention's sixth-season premiere will focus on Janet, a 50-year-old twice-divorced mother of four whose addiction to alcohol and sex has cost her her family. Janet's addictions began when she met a drug smuggler at age 18 and ended up marrying into a life of wealth, glamour and endless partying.
Intervention is produced for A&E by GRB Entertainment, and Dan Partland and Sam Mettler are executive producers. Robert Sharenow and Colleen Conway serve as the show's A&E executive producers.
