ABC has announced new episodes of Secret Millionaire will air Fridays at 8PM ET/PT as part of the network's Fall 2010 primetime programming lineup.

"This is an international sensation right now, and we feel it's a bullseye for the ABC [reality programming] brand," ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson said during his upfront presentation of the network's 2010-11 primetime schedule.

ABC had ordered a second season of Secret Millionaire -- a British reality format which made its stateside debut with a brief six-episode holiday run on Fox in December 2008 -- last fall.

Secret Millionaire is based on The Secret Millionaire, which premiered on the U.K.'s Channel 4 in 2006.

While Secret Millionaire's Fox premiere averaged more than 10 million viewers, the network decided against renewing it after its twice-weekly, three-week run -- resulting in its RDF USA production company shopping the rights to an American adaptation to other networks.

Despite the new network, Secret Millionaire will follow the same format and feature millionaires leaving their lavish lifestyles and spending a week learning what it's like to survive in impoverished neighborhoods.

On the last day of their experience, the millionaires will reveal their true identities and also give at least $100,000 of their own money -- often times more -- to those they've met.

In addition to Secret Millionaire's second season, Dancing with the Stars' eleventh season and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's eighth season will also air as part of ABC's Fall 2010 primetime programming lineup.

Dancing with the Stars' two-hour performance episodes will continue air in the Mondays at 8PM ET/PT timeslot with one-hour result shows airing in the Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot; while Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will continue to air in its Sundays at 8PM ET/PT timeslot.

In addition, ABC also announced The Bachelor's fifteenth season and Supernanny's seventh season will both air as part of the network's midseason schedule.
