ABC has announced the season finale dates of Dancing with the Stars: Athletes and American Idol.

The network has revealed the 26th mini-season of Dancing with the Stars: Athletes and the sixteenth edition of American Idol will both conclude on the same night in May.
Both series will come to an end on Monday, May 21, as a dancing and singing champion will be crowned.
The May 21 finale of Dancing with the Stars: Athletes will air from 8-9PM ET/PT on ABC, followed by the season finale of American Idol from 9-11PM ET/PT.
Dancing with the Stars: Athletes is set to premiere Monday, April 30 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

Ten athletes will be paired with professional dancers for intense rounds of competition. The couples will be judges by Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman, with Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews returning as host and co-host, respectively.
The celebrities are NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, former MLB star Johnny Damon, Olympic figure skater Mirai Nagasu, Olympic luger Chris Mazdzer, NFL star Josh Norman, Olympic softball player Jennie Finch, Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding, Olympic snowboarder Jamie Anderson, Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, and female college basketball hero Arike Ogunbowale.
The participating professional partners are Gleb Savchenko, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Emma Slater, Sharna Burgess, Lindsay Arnold, Alan Bersten, Sasha Farber, Jenna Johnson, and Keo Motsepe.
Meanwhile, American Idol currently airs on Sunday and Monday nights. The Top 14 contestants were just revealed, and the Top 10 will be determined next week.
The Top 14 contestants are Gabby Barrett, Jonny Brenns, Marcio Donaldson, Cade Foehner, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Garrett Jacobs, Jurnee, Mara Justine, Dennis Lorenzo, Maddie Poppe, Michelle Sussett, Catie Turner, Adam "Ada Vox" Sanders, and Michael J. Woodard.

American Idol features Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan on the judging panel, with Ryan Seacrest serving as host of the series.
American Idol's revival premiered March 11 on ABC after airing for 15 seasons on Fox since its inaugural season debuted back in 2002.
