ABC will compensate a Michigan answering service called repeatedly by people who misdialed in trying to vote on the network's hit show "Dancing with the Stars."

Kathy Klein said her Mount Pleasant, Mich., answering service has been getting calls since the show debuted June 1.

At first, she suspected ABC had broadcast an incorrect toll-free number for viewer votes for actor John O'Hurley and professional dancer Charlotte Jorgensen.

It turns out, though, that viewers misread the toll-free number that is the same as Klein's answering service except for the prefix.

Klein complained Tuesday that the mix-up had cost her $500 and the ABC spokeswoman told E! Online, "We are having conversations to help her."

"I'm much happier," Klein said.

ABC changed the font and size of the phone numbers in Wednesday's broadcast.

O'Hurley and Jorgensen face "General Hospital's" Kelly Monaco and dancer Alec Mazo for the "Dancing with the Stars" championship next Wednesday.
