ABC has announced Dancing with the Stars' seventh season will premiere with a special two-hour performance episode on Monday, September 22 at 8PM ET/PT.

Dancing with the Stars' seventh-season will then settle into its regular twice-a-week broadcast schedule -- with performance episodes airing in the Mondays at 8PM ET/PT time slot beginning September 29 and results shows airing Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT beginning September 30.
Dancing with the Stars performance episodes will serve as the lead-in for Boston Legal, which will premiere September 22.
Beginning October 6, Dancing with the Stars performance episodes will shrink to 90-minute broadcasts and be followed by new episodes of Samantha Who? airing at 9:30PM ET/PT.
Serving as the lead in for Dancing with the Stars results shows on Tuesday nights in the 8PM ET/PT time slot will be Opportunity Knocks -- a new Ashton Kutcher-produced game show that travels to different families' homes across America, sets up shop in their yard, and asks them trivia questions based on their lives, each other and articles found in and around their home.
Hosted by JD Roth, Opportunity Knocks will premiere September 23.
In addition to Dancing with the Stars' seventh season and Opportunity Knocks, ABC also announced the premiere dates for four other reality shows that will air as part of the network's Fall 2008 primetime programming schedule.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will premiere with a special two-hour episode on Sunday, September 28 at 7PM ET/PT before moving to its regular Sundays at 8PM ET/PT time slot the following week, when America's Funniest Home Videos debuts at 7PM ET/PT. Wife Swap will premiere Friday, October 3 at 8PM ET/PT, followed by the premiere of Supernanny at 9PM ET/PT.
