ABC has announced Find My Family, a new The Locator-like reality series that will reunite long-lost family members, will premiere on Monday, November 23 at 9:30PM ET/PT.

Following its debut -- a half-hour broadcast that will air immediately after Dancing with the Stars' final ninth-season performance episode -- one-hour Find My Family episodes will air in its regular Mondays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot beginning November 30.
Each Find My Family episode will begin with the back stories of two different families in search of a relative they haven't seen in a long time.
With the help of a research team, hosts Tim Green and Lisa Joyner -- both of whom are adopted -- will then find as much information as possible on the missing family members in an effort to locate them. Once the newly-found family member is located, Lisa Joyner will let them know someone from their biological past is looking for them before the in-person reunions take place.
A follow-up with each family will conclude each episode.

The premiere episode will focus on Brookfield, WI parents Scott and Sandy Steinpas -- who gave their daughter up for adoption 30 years ago when they were both teenagers. They have since been married for 27 years and have raised three children.
While they have spent thousands of dollars trying to locate their long-lost daughter -- their efforts have proved unsuccessful, so they've turned to Find My Family for help.
ABC ordered Find My Family, which is based on the Dutch reality series Lost Without a Trace, in June.
The six-episode series is being produced by RelativityReal and RDF USA, with Tom Forman, Chris Coelen, Julie Laughlin-Jones, Greg Goldman and Tony Yates serving as executive producers.
Find My Family will air in the timeslot ABC originally planned to use for Let's Dance, a new comedic reality competition that would feature celebrities attempting to re-create memorable dance routines.

However ABC subsequently canceled the November 23 premiere date of Let's Dance because the network reportedly had a hard time casting celebrities for the series due to the holiday season.
The Locator premiered on WE tv last fall and follows Troy Dunn as he helps people reconnect with loved ones from their past. Its second season began airing in March.
