ABC has announced Dancing with the Stars' ninth season will premiere with a two-hour performance episode on Monday, September 21 at 8PM ET/PT.

Similar to Dancing with the Stars' fifth-season debut in 2007, the show's upcoming ninth-season premiere will be spread over the course of three consecutive nights.

After debuting on September 21, Dancing with the Stars' second ninth-season episode will air the next night in the same 8PM ET/PT timeslot.  The season's first one-hour results show will then air on Wednesday, September 23 at 8PM ET/PT.

Dancing with the Stars will move into its regular broadcast schedule the following week, with two-hour performance episodes airing in the Mondays at 8PM ET/PT timeslot and one-hour results shows airing in the Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot.

In addition to Dancing with the Stars' ninth-season premiere, ABC has also announced the debuts of Shark Tank and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Shark Tank, a Mark Burnett-produced American adaptation of the overseas Dragons' Den reality series, will premiere Sunday, August 9 at 9PM ET/PT following the premiere of ABC's special 10th anniversary 11-night primetime run of Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Shark Tank will continue to air in the Sundays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot immediately following Who Wants to be a Millionaire on August 16 and 23 before moving to the Tuesdays at 8PM ET/PT timeslot beginning August 25.  Shark Tank will eventually serve as the lead-in for Dancing with the Stars beginning September 29.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's seventh season will debut Sunday, September 27 at 8PM ET/PT with a special two-hour premiere.
